A: Once you have migrated your files from Photoshop.com to Revel, it will be no longer be possible to sync your photo and video files between your Photoshop Elements Organizer and Photoshop.com.
If you're using Photoshop Elements 11, you can share your JPEGs from the Elements Organizer to AdobeRevel.com.
If you’re using Photoshop Elements 10 or earlier version, you won’t be able to directly import from Revel or export to Revel.

A: Photoshop.com accounts will be remain accessible until the end of the transition period CLICK HERE to see dates and details, but once we begin moving your photos to Revel you will no longer be able to upload photos to your Photoshop.com account.
After the transition period CLICK HERE to see dates and details, all Photoshop.com accounts will be closed. The Photoshop.com website will remain live and continue to offer product information, trial software downloads, photo editing functionality, customer spotlights, tutorials, and other resources.

No mention of the Touch, it works differently from other iPods and has no "disk mode" as such.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Xp works. Just because Microsoft will not be providing updates, this will not change. If you use common sense, which is required for any OS, you are perfectly safe.
If you "upgrade" to windows 8, it is possible iTunes will see the computer as new and require you to resync your devices.
Make sure you backup your iTunes library to an external drive.

Not at all -- 3.3.0 is not the release that has full JDO2 support.
That'll be coming in the next few months. 3.3.0, on the other hand,
should be out much sooner than that.

I'm sorry but I don't have an answer for you... But I do have a couple of questions that may help others to help you! Was it necessary for you to get a new sim? I'm guessing yes or you would not have done that. You might want to try calling Orange and asking them to unlock it, they might ask you to connect it to your PC and use ITunes with it. Tunes will then say Congrats! Your IPhone Is UNLOCKED! I did this in the US with an OLD iPhone 3 first they asked me a serial number and other info and it worked like a charm. But the thing is Orange [or Apple] must be satisfied that the phone's contract obligations have been fulfilled. I know this is complicated and a pain in the butt, but if it's a dead phone now I would give it a shot. Oh BTW I believe here in the US it's no longer against the law to unlock a phone, apparently the law was changed, not sure about this though... Good luck!

How does capturing affect the camera?

I only ask because I know a lot of people use decks instead of their primary cameras. And I know its a major concern when buying used equipment to ask if its ever been used as a deck. Lastly, if it does negatively affect the camera; If I shoot something in a mode that my deck doesnt support (eg - 24p on a dvx or xl2 and then use an oldddd canon as a deck) will it capture correctly into the editor? IMO most cameras suffer from little use rather than too much. Regularly exercising your cam is a good thing.
If you are capturing all day every day then a purpose built deck would be the better option.

I never tried what you ask but with other formats it's a simple transfer of 0s &1s, so I'd imagine it will work fine as long as tape fits.

Email address change--how does this affect laptop and nook?

I use my Adobe ID only to authorize my laptop and Nook. I need to change my email address which seems easy on the FAQs, but how do I then reauthorize my laptop and Nook? And, if I do this, are all my existing library books unreadable since they were downloaded by what the Nook thinks is a different user? I'm almost sure I won't be able to return any books in ADE on my laptop, but I can live with that if I can still read the books on the Nook.

The sync process with iTunes transfers the email account settings (for your chosen accounts via your iPhone sync preferences) from the Mail application on your Mac to the iPhone's email application.
The iPhone is running OS X and the iPhone's email client can be considered a mobile version of the Mail application.

It's not silly , but I'm assuming you're referring to a cloud offer. If so, if you'd looked in the terms of use, you'd have seen that you can install your software on two separate computers as long as it's only used by one person, and activated with the same Adobe ID. So you can put it on your present computer, and then install a copy on the new one when you get it.

How does this affect my credit score?

Back in 2009, I defaulted on two USAA credit cards. At the time, I negotiated with them and settled for less than the full balance. On my credit report, these accounts' descriptions state "Account paid for less than full balance" and "Charged off account." The recent payment history shows the code "CO" (collection) for every month for the last 24 months and the 90+ days late bucket is populated with every date from the most recent month going back. In other words, they continue to report this as 90+ late every month. Is this accurate? Do I just have to wait another year or so for this to fall off my report? I'm not disputing that I settled for less, but the fact they report every month as 90+ concerns me (even though it also shows a zero balance). Very interested in your thoughts or any advice you have. I believe they should be properly marking it as CO from the point of CO, but I am not 100% certain. Even at that, I'm not sure it affects your score any different once the initial CO is seen. You should get a more knowledgable response here shortly, but curious myself.

Command-TAB - How does this build the application list???

I have a need to enumerate the applications that have "windows", "icons", whether if they are minimized to the dock or not. I need basically the list of applications that Command-TAB brings you. How do you do this programmatically?
Everything I tried gave me everything, or just the applications that are NOT minimized. Drives me nuts. Tried CGWindowListCopyWindowInfo, NSArray *runningApps = [workspace launchedApplications], but I can't get to the filtering of the list I need - whatever Cmd-TAB brings you.

I cannot reproduce what you say using launchedApplication.

This gives me all launched apps that I can see in the comd-tab shortcut. If I use runningApplications then I get much more results (any app running even in background).
I minimized all windows of two apps: Preview and MacSoup as one is Cocoa and the other is not (well I think Preview is Cocoa): they where listed as well

I use a web based software for work. I go to a web page listing all employees as links (Window A). When I click an employee link a new window opens (Window B). Window B contains links, i.e. Add Client, Change Address, Change Phone Number, Change Name, Upload Photo, etc... When I hold CTRL and left click the links in Window B, the new tab opens in Window A. I don't understand why this has changed, as I've been using this method to open new tabs in my current window in both of the previous versions of Firefox.

To give you an example of what I'm speaking, I found this page that recreates the scenario.

2. Click the GO in the center of the box on their page (This creates a pop-up window with links to other programming pages)
3. CTRL+left click any of those links. The page opens in the background/original window, not the pop up window where you are currently working. And, with your solution takes me back to that window and the new tab.

So how does compression affect the integrity of colours?

Think of an image as having two distinct layers: the black & white layer, over which the color information is laid by the color layer.
Bad compression also uses poor color sampling -- aka color resolution -- to save file size. It will average the values of two adjacent color pixels to create a larger pixel of the avaraged color. If it's REALLY bad -- as in DSLR video and HDV -- it will average the colors of FOUR adjacent pixels an even larger pixel of the average color.

That has happened before - remember iWeb?
But this time Apple has provided a migration to the successor app, Photos.
For iPhoto and Aperture on the Mac is not much known (Aperture is Dead. Long Live Photos! | ApertureExpert), only, that there will be a "Photos" for MacOS X.
