You will need to find a used copy of iLife '06 installer discs. E-bay, Craigslist, perhaps Google Groups Low End Mac.

You can investigate iLife '08 as mende1 suggests. Many people did not like the "improvements" Apple made to iMovie '08 and Apple went as far as making available a special download of iMovie 06 for those who purchased iLife 08. This download is no longer available.
You also did not say what hardware you are using. iMovie '08 will not run on all computers capable of running 10.4.11 - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1010

The format for Flash Catalyst projects changed in version CS5.5. When you open a file that was created in Flash Catalyst CS5 in Flash Catalyst CS5.5, you get a message offering to convert the file to the new format. In the case of most of the lesson files that come with the Flash Catalyst Classroom in a Book, this is a quick, straightforward process. Once it's completed, simply save the converted file with a new name, and you can continue working on the lesson.
A few of the lesson files, however, do not convert successfully. Adobe Press has provided new versions of those files that have been rebuilt in Flash Catalyst CS5.5, and should open without mishap. Otherwise, they are identical to the files provided with the book. Adobe Press apologizes for any invonvenience.
You can download the updated lesson files from the Peachpit website. If you don't already have a Peachpit account, you will need to create one (simply supply an email address, name, and password; you do not need to enter a member code or ISBN number):

If you have the trail version and the serial numbers, go ahead with the install and just provide the serial numbers. I have not used the trial version, but there is supposed to be a location for simply upgrading with your license info to turn it into the full Acrobat. If that works, then be sure to backup the download for future use.

Where can I find updates for Acrobat Pro 9 for Mac?

I have just changed computers, and after installing Acrobat Pro 9 from the disk, I can't find updates anywhere. All the links to Mac updates only go back to 10. Also, my Help menu does not contain the traditional "check for updates."
I know there are updates--my current machine (Snow Leopard) shows version 9.5.5. I have no idea how I did it.
The un-updated Pro 9.0 seems to work fine with Yosemite (new machine), but I'd really like to get it up to date as much as possible.

Where can I download update to 7.03 from 7.0?

Hi:
I needed to install FCP on a new to me Mac Pro (running Lion)
My disks are 7.0.
On my previous machine (a Macbook Pro laptop) I had updated 7.0 to 7.03.
I want to find an upgrade back to 7.03
I found an old link to the 7.03 upgrade. I downloaded and ran it - but it doesn't seem to have altered the version (from 7.0 to 7.03.

Does anyone know if it is still possible to do this upgrade? If so is there a reliable working link?
If all above fails - is there a method to copy across FCP 7.03 from my MacBook Pro laptop to my Mac Pro tower?

I have tired the software upater.
Unless it is doing something invisible it is not showing a change in the version number.
It is still showing as 7.0 on my tower as opposed to 7.03 on my laptop (installed from the same source)
Just to confirm - it would show the version number in "About Final Cut Pro and the startup window - wouldn't it?

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

I highly recommend also installing a Flash blocker for your browser so that you don't get unwanted ads, etc. If you use Safari, ClickToFlash is great; it turns off Flash by default, and you easily turn it on by clicking right in your browser when you want to use it. Updates are done through Software Update and are free downloads. Upgrades you have to purchase - NOT free. Therefore, you must purchase Snow Leopard - how can I purchase snow leopard is a good place to start.
