Combination Options for Classic G/L and New G/L Systems
Remember: When New G/L is active (sending or target system) then the message type is checked in the IDoc inbox/outbox:
No processing of FIDCMT/FIROLL! (Error status in the target system).
In general, complete FI documents can always be sent:
Scenario 1: New G/L is active in the non-central system, but not in the central system.
The central system doesn't recognize the ledger/group.
        >>>The incoming document is posted as a normal document.
Note: Ledger-specific documents become generally valid.
Scenario 2: New G/L is active in the central system, but not in the non-central system.
        >>>The documents are posted with the ledger group "Space". This means they are updated in the leading ledger
and in all ledgers activated in the company codes.
*No system adjustments are required.

Dear [Maesus],
I have tried to duplicate the issue, I saw it only once when I reflash the BIOS and then change the CPU clock setting.
My procedure as below…
1.      Boot system
2.      Update BIOS to 1.9 version
3.      Restart the system to BIOS setting
4.      Change the CPU Bus Clock to 229
5.      Save the setting & exit and then the system restart automatically
6.      And then I saw the CPU is only running 1.86GHz (my CPU is 3.2GHZ FSB 800MHz)
But I would like to explain that my procedure as above is incorrect.
The correct procedure should be as below….
1.      Boot system
2.      Update BIOS to 1.9 version
3.      Restart the system to BIOS setting
4.      Load BIOS setup default first
5.      Change the CPU Bus Clock to 229
6.      Save the setting & exit and then the system restart automatically
7.      And then I saw the CPU is running 3.66GHz (my CPU is 3.2GHZ FSB 800MHz)
Note: To load BIOS setup default setting after reflash BIOS that is because all original default setting will be erase after upgrade BIOS. So we always recommend customers to load BIOS default setting first before change any BIOS setting.
BTW, we have updated the BIOS version to support Prescott CPU. Users can decide to update it or not.
The new release BIOS as attach file.
Best regard!

Sending FI documents in New G/L
    1. Sending the entry view (BKPF/BSEG)
        - Entries in BKPF and BSEG/BSEG_ADD are required in the target system.
        - With IDoc type FIDCCP01/02. Corresponds to the document structure, additional fields were included (e.g. ledger group)
        - Update the new G/L in the receiver system when posting the IDoc according to the central settings (split)
    2. No seperate sending of individual items FAGLFLEXA
       - Reference between BKPF/BSEG and FAGLFLEXA cannot be created in the target system (no technical keys exist).

Why is there no FIDCMT or FIROLL in New G/L?
    1. For the seperate posting of FI document lines as individual items or as an account balance:
         - Base line item might be missing for the document split in the target system (complete FI documents required).
         - G/L account postings (expense/revenue) are aggregately transferred as an account balance. The document split,
which corresponds to the posting in the sending system, thus becomes impossible (the account assignments are
           lost).
    2. Limited functionality of IDoc type FIDCMT01:
        - No central tax reporting possible because BSET information is not sent.
        - Vendor net procedure only possible to a certain extent by using a workaround
        - No support for extended withholding tax.
*Check the message type in the IDoc inbox/outbox: No processing of FIDCMT/FIROLL if New G/L is active.

I explored everywhere with the Menu key when I got my Zen this weekend and found several tidbits, such as adding the 'submenus' to the top level menu, rearranging the menus, neat things like "Look up Artist" to view other albums by the same artist, etc..
I haven't looked on the CD but so far I've found really no documentation on the operation of the player, so maybe these things are covered in a manual I haven't seen.
Must say, coming from a Zen Xtra, this player has a lot of neat little features.

  • Provide ALE and IDOC Faqs and all Transactions

    Dear Experts,
I am new to ALE & IDOC.
Please provide ALE & IDOCs FAQs and all Transactions?
    Thanks in advance.

Q: Our IDOC remains in status 51 ( not posted) while testing ALE setup by passing DEBMAS02 Idocs. The message 'Field KNA1-BRSCH is not an input field'. This is the Industry key. What are we missing?
A: Go to IMG - menu path IMG->LogisticsGeneral-> Logistics Basic Data: Business partners->Customers-> Control->Define Account groups and field selection for customer.
Select sold-to or ship-to. Select General Data. Select control and double click. Industry key is found here. Change the option to 'Optional Entry'.
Check OSS 5599. You may have to update view V_T078D also.
    E D I / IDOC
Q:1 We created an EDI Vendor and created all required output conditions. However no IDOC is generated when PO is printed. Why?
A: Go to Header->output for the PO. The output type shall be '6'. The status shall be '1'. If the status is '0' check the timing. If the status is '2' , go to 'GOTO->Processing Log' and the explanation for non-generation of IDOC can be seen.
Q: How can we create / upload IDOC's from legacy system to SAP?
A: Third party tool Mercator may be used to convert Legacy files to Idoc format. Mercator provides an IDOC tree import facility, SAP provides the export facility. You can transfer the Idoc layouts from SAP to Mercator automatically and then map.
Q: We want to receive an outbound EDI 855 IDOC only if E2EDP20 -scheduling confirmation segment is present. Else get an "error" status preventing triggering the EDI subsystem.
A: User exit logic has to be added in function IDOC_INPUT_ORDRSP.
Set up a test flag and set it off when the IDOC header is read.
Turn the flag ON when the EDP20 segment is read.
Interrogate this flag when the next segment after EDP20 in the same IDOC comes in. If it is on ,you have an EDP20 coming in.
Issue an error status 51 with suitable message for whichever condition you don't want the IDOC to be processed, This will stop the IDOC from posting.
Q: Where ever PO is sent to the vendor via EDI, we want an acknowledgement of the PO by vendor. Which fields are updated and what should be my procedure?
    A: Execute Program: IDOC_INPUT_ORDRSP
    Process code: ORDR
    Message type: ORDRSP
    IDOC: ORDERS01
The confirmation process allows the supplier to return an acknowledgment. Only Dates and quantities can be changed The information is stored in the PO and can be viewed via Item->Confirmation->Overview. The PO can be flagged as 'confirmation required' so that Pos without acknowledgement receipt can be monitored. Control keys and tolerances (days and quantities) have to be customized.
    Outbound:
Step 1. Application document is created when transaction is saved.
    2. Message control is invoked.
    3. Messages are processed by system.
    4. Messages are Edited (if desired).
    5. Output (ALE / EDI) is checked
    6. Validate against Message control record from Partner Profile
    7. Application Document is saved.
    8. Entry NAST table is created for every selected output program
    along with Medium & Timing.
    9. Check for Process Immediately .
    If (yes)
Determine Processing Program from TNAPR Table.
    ELSE

    10. Read Partner Profile to determine Process Code.
    11. Process Code points to the Function Module & Invoked.
    12. IDoc is generated.
    13. Check for ALE Request.
    if (Yes)
Perform Filters, Conversions, Version Changes etc.
    Else.
    IDoc is stored in DATABASE.
    INBOUND:
Step 1. EDI Subsystem creates an IDoc file from EDI Messages
    2. Subsystem calls Functional Module EDI_DATA_INCOMING from startRFC program.
    3. Data in Control Record is validate against the Partner Profile.
    4. IDoc is generated in Database and syntax check is carried out.
    5. IDoc file is deleted once file read.
    6. Event PROCESSSTATE REACHED is triggered in Idoc Object Workflow.
    7. Check for Process Immediately.
    If NO
    Execute RBDAPP01 Program
    Else

  • Issues in IDoc Sender Scenario:IDoc  with errors added

    Hi all
Am working on an IDoc to JDBC scenario. In R/3 system, I have created distribution model, partner profile, RFC destination and port. The IDoc is generated and is sent to XI successfully. But in XI , there is no entry in SXI_MONITOR for this (unfortunately IDX5 is not available in the XI server! ;as of now). Instead an entry is made in WE05 and WE02 with stautus 56(IDoc with errors added). In the status record:
status 56 : External segment name E2KOMG003 cannot be interpreted
status 60 : Basic IDoc type COND_A03 could not be found.
And the segments displayed in data record  are different from the segments in the data record of the IDoc generated at R/3. (say for E1KOMG at R/3, E2KOMG003 in XI).Earlier the flow was working fine and the DB table was updated successfully. And the entire stuff is believed to be 'unmodified' .
Would any one help in resolving the issue.
    Thanks,
    Chilanka

  • IDOC not received in XI; error in SM58 of sending system

    Hello everybody,
we got a SAP CRM sending a "generated" IDOC.
    (IDOC-Type: CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE01)
The IDOC seemes to be rejected by XI because
    SM58 shows:
    - No Service for System Binding_Error Client ...
    - function: IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS
All settings (IDX1, IDX2, ID, IR) are OK!!
All reimports (delete & import IDOC) are made!!
(btw: we got several other IDOCs-Types that work fine!)
Could it be, that the IDOC-type is GENERATED?

  • About back-end adapter and IDoc

    Hi everybody!
I was watching in the FAQ of Mobile 7.1 about the possibility to use IDOC as a mechanism to push data to DOE, but this document only says: "IDocs are supported only for back-end-triggered scenarios" and provides a link to configure ALE between the backend and DOE, but the link doesn't work. (Somebody has this information on a link that works?)
I'm trying to find any information, blog, article, how-to guide, however I cant found anything. Anybody has documentation about how to configurate and implement a backend-adapter to push data from the backend through IDOC? Any information will be welcome.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Simon.

    Hi San,
You will have to look after this in Tansaction SE80. Open the BSP application cProjects, and find the appropriate view. (The naming convetion will help a little). Open the view tab: layout >> e.G. progAssignedPha.bsp Here you will find what BSP elements it consists of. You will find the
    <htmlb:tableView and <htmlb:inputField ... elements.
Here you will find the information you are looking for.
As easy as in SAPGui you can not find out this information.
    Regards.

  • How to Map Idoc-Orders05 Qualifier permitted values to a flat file Str

    Hi All,
My scenario is IDoc-xi-flat file. I have a problem in mapping the respective qualifier value in IDoc to the flat file structure. I am using the function fix values in Message Mapping. Suggest how should the target field should look like to map to the qualifier.
    Thanks
    Gowri K.

    hi,
can you tell a little bit more on what are you trying to achive?
do you only need one qualifier in file or all or what?
can you use the same structure as in IDOC ?
    be a little more precise

  • Getting error while try to send data to matmas05 idoc

    hello frnds,
i m working on a scenario in which i m sending data from xml file to matmas05 idoc of R/3. here i have done all the required XI settings. at sender side i have used file adapter and at reciever side IDOC Adapter. while i m executing my schenario at that time i m getting green flag into the sxmb_moni transaction but m not able to see any idoc generated at the receiver R/3.
can anybody tell me that what might be the problem? is it the problem with R/3 receiver or it is the problem with XI configuration itself..
    Regards,
    Hetal

    hi,
if the flag is green you can check in SMQ1, SMQ2
    for any waiting entries
I hope you've activated the queues in SXMB_ADM
