Fascinate will not connect with email server 3-5 hours per day.

All the features on the phone; text messaging, internet browsing and the phone(coming and going) work well and quickly but my email problem is driving me nuts.
I live in Williamsburg VA and have been back to the main store several times without luck. I've been on the phone with the 800# techs at Verizon, and while they try to help, still have the problem. They have reset the phone, manually walked me through the reset process--  similar to the automatically mode by dialing *228, #1.
Regardless if I'm on the 3G network or WiFi(both showing 3 bars) I receive no email several time a day for up to 5 hours - -this is even though my home computer is getting them. I run a small business and the lost message are killing me.
I'm open for any suggestions

I'm having the same issue -check the laptop or PC and the inbox is filled with new emails, yet no new emails on the Fascinate......sometimes no new messages for 12-15hrs.  Tried soft reboots, deleting the email accounts and re-installing, updating roaming and still no timely emails incoming.  Spent 1hr 47min with Verizon and Samsung tech support for this very problem.  Bottom line per Samsung tech support -Droid Operating Platform (OS) is designed to run Gmail in 'real time' and any other ISP can take up to 2 days to hit your inbox.  Droid considers this perfectly acceptable.  Samsung tech support said to Google (not on your phone) 'droid apps' and then research apps for email.  He said to look only at those with a 5 star rating and with 100 ratings or more.  When asked if he could save me the time and hassle of researching and just tell me a good app, he couldn't - he could lose his job.  He was sympathetic and agreed it was **bleep**.
 Another tip he gave was to delete your email accounts BEFORE downloading an email app.  Once the app is downloaded re-install your email account(s).  Doing it otherwise will confuse the OS and you'll have the same lag time issues of incoming email.
I'm going to try K 9 app based on research reviews.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.     No. Everything was working fine and then it wasn't. I hadn't changed any settings or switched either one off. When the phone stopped working properly I ignored it because I always have my ipad with me but that just sopped working properly and now I am stuffed. I have tried most solutions suggested on here even wiping the ipad clean and re-booting. I did this exactly the same way as when I first got it but still no joy. The same with the phone.

    Basic troubleshooting steps oultlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
    You need to go through all steps in succession until your problem is solved.  If going through ALL these steps fails to resolve your issue, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

    When I click on the store it just never opens, I do not receive any message. I try to "refresh the page" and nothing. While having the store selected I go to "help" and check for updates and i get a message; "The iTunes updatte server could not be contacted" and it prompts me to check my internet connection which is fine.     I ran a iTunes Diagnostics/ Under "Which Tests do you want to run" I check only "Network Connections" and the results that I receive is...

    I am writing about my wife's brand new Samsung Charge on Verizon. We managed to setup both her gmail account and her work exchange server account fine, except for the calendars:
    Her Google calendar shows up fine, but I am unable to even see any other Google calendars that she has access to (both her own secondary calendars as well as calendars that others have shared with her) in order to select them to be visible.
    Her exchange calendar says it is enabled (on the list of available calendars), but no events at all show up.
    This behavior is with the latest software updates on the Charge (2.2.1 firmware, I510.EE4 build) using its stock calendar software. I did notice that if I use Smooth Calendar, it does list all of her Google calendars under its listing of available calendars, but it still only shows data from her primary calendar. This is also true using the Touch Calendar app, which leads me to believe that there is some problem within the Google Calendar sync software that is not allowing her calendars to appear correctly.

    After reading the whole post, I still don't capture the exact error message or code from it when you failed to install Office 2013. 
    The only clue is that "bootstrap loader error" ...
    It seems that you want to upgrade Office 2007 to new Office 2013, by default, we could complete the uninstall previous Office version and install the new Office in the installation wizard.
    At this point, if you get the install source through CD or other media. I recommand that we copy/paste the installation to local drive. Then turn off all of anti-virus and firewall, begin to setup in
    Windows clean boot mode.
    Please use a setup log to troubleshoot setup problems in Office if the installation problem still occurs.

    This is due to a change in Yahoo's security settings. You need to go into your Yahoo account settings and create a special App Password, then use that password in Contacts to access your account. Same goes for Calendar.

    First thing to try is reset Printing System:
    OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system
    Next would be reset the router (power off 15 secs then back on). And, 2 minutes later, reset the printers 1 by 1.

    Do the usual wireless things.
    Change the wireless name to simple name with only alphanumerics and no spaces.
    Set to manual and use channels 1, 6, 11 in turn.
    For testing take off the security altogether.
    The iphone only works on 2.4ghz so only that band is relevant.

    Here are some things to try:
    Close itunes
    Check your internet settings.
    Control Panel – Internet Options – Advanced
    Check SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0
    Uncheck “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)”
    Click Apply
    Click Okay
    Open itunes and try again
    And, you don't need to turn off the firewall, just add itunes and itunes helper to your security software firewall.
