Fast entry of Time data

Hi all,
i'm looking for a way to enter a lot of entries for a lot of EE.
PA71 don't permit to do this for IT2012, and 41.
-> Does anybody have an idea?

Hi Fafa,
If you can assign the infotype 2012 to Inftotype menu 09-Fast Entry for Time you can do fast entry using PA71. Like wise if you assign the infotype 41 to infotype menu 07-Fast entry for Master Data, you can do fast entry using PA70.
U can assign the infotypes to infomenu following path:
Personnel Management -- Personnel Administration -- Customizing Procedures -- Infotype Menus
Under that you need to perform Infotype Menus, and probably setup infotype menus for fast entry

Hi
when you enter a record in 2001 infotype you can actually a select the Edit in the menu and there is an option to maintain text against the leave type. I am looking for the same functionaly to maintain text in fast entry screen.

Sms/imessage entries missing time/date stamp

I just upgraded to IOS7. I could not find a way to show the time/date stamp of a text. This I used quite often... for example, if my husband texts me to say he is on his way home, I could look at the time stamp to see how many minutes ago that was. Is there a way to put the time stamp back on the texts like it was in all the previous versions?
UPDATE: The time/date stamp is there, but the frequency that it puts a new time/date stamp must be fairly long. I had a text started with my husband at 4:55. At 5:32 (looking at the time stamp that shows up on my iMac that shows same texts my iPhone does) another text was made. The only way I can tell when the very absolute LAST text was written on my iPhone is to back out to the menu of all my contact listings I have message conversations with. There it shows when last text was sent... 6:20. That is Almost 50 minutes later than the last text, it is almost an hour and a half since the initial text.But, yet all under same text date stamp of 4:55
EXPLAINED A DIFFERENT WAY:
4:55 first text
5:32 additional text
6:20 next text
Only time stamp shown on my iphone is the 4:55, all these texts are under the same time/date stamp. My iMac mirrors the same texts and shows all three incremental time stamps. That is how my phone used to be. How do I get it back?

You should tap you scren and move like you want to move the full scren to the left! A column will appear!
PS: What I think is that @Apple should urgently think more about UX and UI this new IOs7 is amde for pro. UN-HAPPY

Fast Entry for Infotype 0007

Hi All,
I want to configure fast entry (PA71) for infotype 0007.
I have created an entry in T588R. But for T588Q, I couln't find any fast entry standard screen for this infotype.

As you know ,the infotype 0007 is not included in this list.To add
further infotypes, you need to create the Fast Entry dypro (which is
what you are doing). Use dynpro 4000 with a default value and
5000 without a default value.
Please keep in mind that we are dealing with a modification of the
SAP standard system.
Please, check the documentation provided for transaction PM01:
- Select the help menu and Application help
under the documentation select
- infotype Enhancement for Fast Data Entry
- Infotype Enhancement for Fast Entry of Master Data
The new screens that you should create should under Modem Pool MP900600
You can then go to se51 and check that the screens 4000 and 5000
exit for the MP900600.
Table T588Q contains all infotypes, that can be used for Fast Entry
within SAP standard.
If you want to add further infotypes, you need to create the Fast Entry
Dynpro (4000 with a default value and 5000 without a default value).
Please pay attention to the corresponding documentations in the IMG and
in the R/3 library and please also note, that this will be considered
as a modification!
Go to the IMG and select the following path:
Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Setting Up
Procedures -> Infotype Menus -> Set Up Infotype Menu For Fast
Data Entry.
Please also check the documentation under transaction PM01.

How can I change Time data with List Entry Screen ?

Hi expert.
I transfer Time Data (Infotype 2003) via CAT6.
When I go to transaction PA61 and click List Entry icon.
Record is display and cannot change data.
If I wanna change data.I must to click Choose Icon one by one record.
How can I change data with List Entry Screen?
ps. If record create via PA61. I can change data with List Entry Screen.
I can't change with record that create via CAT6.

have u tried to change your time entry through CAT2 tcode, ithink if u have created profile for time entry then it should allow you to change and you can use esc otherwise, its generally the standard profile given by SAP. but is 4 one user

U can use S-CAT and BDC for that.
BDC u can record at transaction code SHDB.
Make a template for the same and uplaod.
(ABAPer Help is required fopr BDC though its a small task if u understand the same)

Creating iCal entries based on date/time appearing in text on any app

One thing I like about iCal's integration with Apple Mail is that the mail client is able to sense dates and times in email messages and then allow you to create iCal entries. But it seems that this date and time sensing is only limited to Apple Mail when technically users could potentially want to create iCal entries when a date and time appears on any app, such as on a web page in a web browser, in a PDF, or a word processing document. It seems logical then for iCal to be integrated with OS X's text services, so that at least if I highlighted a date and time, I could right click on it and bring up an option to create an iCal entry on based on that date and time.
Does anyone know if this feature is natively supported (for which I have yet to enable), or is there a third party app out there that will allow me to do this?

Just a quick update. I tried the first two -- text2cal and Calendar Creator -- and they don't seem to work on OS X 10.6.6.
However, on another note, I found some discussion regarding Snow Leopard's enhanced data detectors being natively able to do what I've been looking for. But I just can't seem to get it to work on my computer:

Hi I want ot consider time data entry till 25 of every month for payroll. what are the changes will be haapen for time data after 25 will consider for next month.

No special process required but it has to be taken care that you should not do actual run for the tIme PT60 after 25 th of every month.

I dont have any document regarding this , although i can guide you writing step by step
Run the transaction scat.
After that it ask you transaction code to reocord.
After that do the same procedure you use for recording then
After recording jsut click on end on processing or F12.
Component you have to mention what ever is yours you can give here something py-au.
double click on SE11
and again double click on SAP....
now it again shows all screen what u recorded here you have to reocrd which field you require now do the step by step press F6 which field required .
Goto export all the fields.
Choose save .
Parameter F7 .
Remove the default fields.
save run

FAST Entry- A/P

Hi Gurus
Pls let me know whether we can post different vendor invoices and payments at a time, but document numbers should be different for every entry. eg:- Rent payment
Vendor a/c DR. [many vendors are there- need to post as if one document but different doc nos should be generated for each vendor]
To Bank a/c CR.
If this can be done, there is an advantage to reverse the payment for individual vendor.

Hi,
If only one fast entry screen will be used for your infotype, just leave screen control in T588Q as blank.
And just make sure the screen control value is the same when you Assign screen control to infotype menu 07 (fast data entry) and Define infotype text for new assigned screen.
Screen control just used for the case if there are many different fast entry screens you want implement into PA70.
For 'My screen aprears correctly but alwalys in display only', just check the code of your fast entry screen, I think it should be different from overview screen. As you said you just copy the overview screen, I suggest you change it. Also I suggest you to refer infotye P0015(module pool MP001500, screen 5000).

If you are using this tool for the first time, i would not suggest directly using it on Production. Use it few times on Test client for making yourself familiar with this tool. It is a very powerful tool and changes made from this cannot be undone.

To me more specific it is not just Fast Entry it is GL Fast Entry.
The use of GL Fast Entry -say I have to pay rent to 100 buildings with different GL accounts and I have to also account for my printing and stationery and some more expenses from only on cash account or bank account,this can be achived by using GL fast entry.
It saves time in entering the data,the user need not go into screen by screen for entering the line items,the line items in total can be entered in a single sceen and can also be verfied for its accuracy since the data is entered in a single screen.
Also Note GL fast entry can only be used for GL accounts,it canot be used for Vendors and customers.

How to count occurences of a certain string in incoming real-time data? Also displaying RTC data. Current VI included

I use LabView student Express 7 on a Windows XP system.
Time-frame: we are doing final integrations for our balloon experiment today. We just got told that the press wants to view real-time data, which we haven't programmed for. I need help to get a working VI at the latest by 25.02.2004 before 0800(morning) (GMT+1).
Note on license
It is a student balloon flight, and the data will not be used in scientific work, so the I am not breaking any license agreements (I hope).
Problem synopsis:
The balloon continually transmits data at 9600baud. The data is a semi-repeating header followed by a constant lenght data-package arranged like this:
BEXUS[h][m][s]BEXUS[h][m][s]
[Raw binary data, 7channels*8sub-channels*8bits]
What the groundstation is doing right now:
Take all incomming data and save (append) the data to a file without any data-handling. (We figured we would go post-processing).
What I need to change in less than 24 hours:
- Add a "package" counter
- Add a display of the clock data (RTC)
How I planned to implement the changes:
-RTC display:
The RTC data is in BCD format, since that means that if you look at the data as hex numbers, you get the hours and minutes and seconds out in "clear text". That is 12 hours is 0x12hex. I figured that I can do a match pattern BEXUS and pass the "after substring" to another match pattern BEXUS from which I feed the "before substring" to a type-cast VI (casting string to u8) and displaying that, which should give me a display of "123000" for the time 12:30:00... I couldn't get it to work at all when I tried out the supplied "beta" vi.
- Package counter:
Counting how many BEXUS that gets detected and dividing by 2. I don't know how to do this. I've looked on the forum (a good thread on the problem: "how do I count the number of *'s in a string") but these use either loops or arrays... and I'm not sure how this works when I'm getting the data in at realtime. I cant make an array and then count it, since then the array would grow fast and possibly interfere with saving of the data??? Saving the data is critical.. without that file we cant do post-processing.
Since my time is so limited (I'm not even supposed to do the groundstation software but they called on me in the last minute because no-one else had time/wanted too/could do it) I hope that you could make an exception and provide me with working VI's (based on the one I have attached) so that I can show something to the press! (Free comercial for NI!! Since the student version shows the National Instruments water-mark on all VI's!!! Possible TV time!!)

I have a valid example data file attached to this thread.
If you open BEXTEST.bin in a hex-editor of your choice, you'll see the BEXUS as 42 45 58 55 53 and then the time as 00 28 09 etc.
I couldn't get Joe Guo's VI to work. It doesn't count packages correctly, and the time is not displayed correctly either.
The file was saved using a straight save to file VI.
The data is from actual launching area tests performed a few mintues ago. The time displayed is "On time" e.g. how long the gondola has been powered up.
I have a spare T-junction, so I can hook into the balloon real-time data as we fly, in case anyone care to see if they can figure out why the latest version of Joe Guo's program is not displaying correctly.
I will monitor this
thread during and after flight to see if anyone can make it in time!
