Fatal, unrecoverable error in FM and RH after spell-checking

I have TCS 2.5. Last month, a few hours before our product release, I was spell-checking my RoboHelp HTML 8 project and had FrameMaker 9 open at the same time. Suddenly, Frame crashed with the dreaded internal error message, and I could not get it to start again. Soon after, RH also crashed and I couldn't get it to run again, either. Fighting back panic as I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail, I finally installed trial versions of Frame 10 and RH 9, and I was able to at least get my docs out for the release. But it wasn't until today that I finally figured out what was causing the problem. I noticed that the programs were crashing after loading the fonts and right when it got to the localization part, so I figured it had something to do with my dictionaries, but I couldn't find any files in my TCS folder that been updated that day. Finally, I found files here: C:\Users\myUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Linguistics\Dictionaries. I found an "added.clam" file that was last updated right before the crash. I deleted all the directories in the Dictionaries directory, and now Frame and RH are working again.
Hopefully this will save someone the stress I endured, as I couldn't find anything about this on the forums at the time, and it was only by chance that I finally found these folders.

Sending e mails after Spell Check

My e mails do not send after spell check is complete. The e mail goes through spell check and when I am done and close the spell check window it doesn't automatically send. I then have to click the send button again. Any suggestions?

It is working as I wanted now. In Mail I did the following: Mail>Preferences>Composing, then in the top dialogue box Composing I chose Check Spelling> When I click Send. Not a very complicated solution but it works for me. When I finish an e mail and click send it now goes through the spell check and then automatically sends once I finish the spell check. I hope that is what you were asking.

ERROR CODE 50 AND 54 AFTER UPDATING TO IOS 5

I updated my iPhone 4 to ios5 and when it was restoring iTunes said the restore was interrupted and error code 50 and 54. I lost current photos and some apps although iTunes had reported that my phone was backed up. Has anyone else received these errors and how can I fix it?

How to add support both English and Portuguese in spell checking?

In my research work, I often have to write documents both in English and Portuguese. How should I add support for both languages in spell checking? I'd want to switch between both when writing my stuff and, for now, all I have available on Pages is my Mac OS X Lion's native language: English. How to add support for both languages in Pages?

You can use Styles. The default language in your Pages Styles is set to the computer language which you said is english, right.
If you want Portuguese for some body text select some text >
in the Inspector palette > T tab > More > language > select Portuguese >
now click on the style Body text triangle > choose Create new paragraph style from selection > name it so you know it has this language.
When writing you have to tell Pages which paragraph to be in Portuguese and which in English.

Replication Error between DC and PDC after a reboot.

Error 1256 is logged as the replication status per partition as a result of the destination DC cancelling the sync request from the source DC due to a connectivity failure previously encountered.

Suppose I have created a two-node Hyper-V cluster with a fibre channel shared storage in Windows Server 2012. Everything work fine except some issues. One of the is that when I want to configure the cluster to add a VM as its cluster resource, the following
error message appears:
An error occurred while determining the state of this clustered role in the cluster. The remote procedure call failed with error 800706BE.

I have tested many possible solutions without any success. The actions that I have done so far are mentioned in the following and the results of them have been said, too.
When I restart the servers, everything are good but after some times when I reopen Failover Cluster Manager on one of the servers, the snap-in related to my cluster name does not load. Please look at the following figure:
And when I want to connect to my cluster name, the following error message appears:
Note: The above problem appears randomly regarding to servers. In the other hand, after the restart, one of the servers acts as the above statement.

I have read the KB197814 and did the steps in it, restarted both servers, but the problem did not resolved.
I have check both servers for RPC Service status and in both servers it has started.
The both servers are alive and can ping each other by their IP address and name.
The firewall of both servers is off and I stopped the Windows Firewall service COMPLETELY.
Any services and applications that are depending on RPC have problems. For example when I want o remotely manages the services on these servers by using Services.msc console, the following error message appears:

Fatal internal error: I/EX

I am developing an application, it will read out data in an olite db(5.0.2.7) using jdbc call, then it will write these data into an oracle 9i db using bc4j.
my system runs in win xp, I am using JDeveloper 9.0.3.1035.
when I run my class as a plain java application, everything is ok.
but when I call my class from a servlet as a web applicaiton, the web application terminate unexpected with an popup error message:
I/EX 311, and I can find this error in log:
Fatal internal error: I/EX
When I debug my program, I found that the error occured in rs.getString() statement :

s = rs.getString("...");

I was searching for an answer cause I have the same problem but I realized that the problem is not directly related with BC4J or OC4J.
I suspect that is involve with the driver olite40.jar I hope you can validate this. I can reproduce the problem and it happen when you run a program in an application Server , I tried with OC4J and Tomcat the code like Weijun Tian explain I show two examples :
1st case : Supouse that I run a query to database like that : select name, price from tableTest ;
Statement stm = con.createStatement();
ResultSet rs = stm.executeQuery(�select name, price from tableTest�);
If the column �name� doesn�t exist or is incorrect writed I expect a SQLException well , that is right if I run a simple program with main method. But if I run the same query into a servlet , I have the problem of Fatal Internal Error I/EX without any explanation. This is running in OC4J now, if I run in Tomcat the same code I obtain :

In both of them (OC4J and Tomcat) the server is shut down after the problem.
2nd Case : Now, suppose another situation , imagine a field in the database that is null , well, after the rs.getString(�THE_FIELD�), I expected that the answer will be null ok, if I run this in a simple class with main method there is no problem but if I run the same in a servlet , well, the same problem! I/EX and server shutdown again with OC4J or Tomcat, the same problem.
I think that something like that happen with you Weijun Tian.
Well , what I think is that there is a problem with Oracle Lite to work with application servers, I don�t understand why works fine in simple programs with main method but when I run in a server the same query have these kind of errors , I really hope you can help me because I don�t want to tell that Oracle Lite doesn�t work with an application server or is not a good Database for web applications.

Hi there, I have the same problem but I found that there is not directed relation with the getString(),the problem is in general. Apparently the driver does not work with SQLException , for example I try to make update and I put a column that not exist I expected a SQLException but get the error Fatal internal error: I/EX and the server shut down (?).
I think that it dependes of the driver, I am using OLITE4.jar in windows 2000 and works fine but when I have a simple error (talking about JDBC) get the error I/EX and shut down the server. Could you help me with some advice around this??

Also I found that when I use the driver in a simple program the SQLException is captured for the try-catch block but when the same query for example is running in the JDeveloper from a servlet using the server for test of JDeveloper the same exception produce the problem of Fatal internal error:I/EX , I tried the same code in a Tomcat server and this is what I get :

and my server shut down as far as I know the driver olite40.jar is a JDBC-ODBC driver I think that this is the reason for the problem maybe if I use a driver type 4 I can work better but, is there other driver for Oracle Lite in windows 32??? type 4 could be a solution.

Constant errors from Time Machine with error code 36 and 8062

Hi chaps,
I have trawled the internet and spent a huge amount of time on this problem and can't seem to fix it.
This is the first backup on to a brand new external USB hard disk, formatted correctly.
It starts the backup fine and then stops and a random point normally before 5GB with the same error every time but on different files.
First it was failing on garageband so I excluded that, then it failed on a strange pdf that I can't find in User Templates which I excluded with no joy.
I've turned off spotlight for the external disk and tried several different formats, again with no success.
It first errors with 36 and then after 8062
Can any suggest what is going on please?

Are you certain? That's the most common cause of initial backups failing on a new disk (since most new disks come set up for Windoze), and has exactly your symptoms. See #C1 in the Time Machine - Troubleshooting *User Tip,* also at the top of this forum, and/or this Apple article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1550?viewlocale=en_US

Zoom to error on spell checker

Hi all,
If zoomed in to an area in Illustrator CS5 and run the spell checker it would pan around the job showing where each spelling error instance was. This function seems to have gone in CC v17 the spell checker works but does not show where the error is. Any ideas or suggestions please?

Auto correct is making me look like an idiot. I have to go back and psychically spell check my documents now. Is there any way to disable it?

Auto correct on my desktop Mac is making me look like an idiot. After I type it's changing words into other words I never typed and it even pushes words together that I'd typed a space in between in order to create new words that I never typed which make absolutley no sense.
Now after I type a document I have to go back and psychically spell check my entire document the old fashioned way to make sure auto-correct isn't making me look like a clown who can't spell.
Is there any way to disable "auto correct" on the desktop MAC and still keep spell check running?
The amount of messages I've sent out with horribly misspselled words or errrors as a result is maddening.

Running OSX 10.9.1

I had turned off auto-correct in the keyboard preferences, but in Mail all my spelling and grammer choices were grayed out. The key for me — as Kingoftypos points out — was "For Mail, open a new message/reply/forward. Then go to the Edit menu and scroll down to the Spelling/Grammar."
It would never have occurred to me to open a new message to be able to change the settings.

Most browsers check for spelling mistakes automatically. Look for the words that are flagged by red lines and right-click them to see suggestions. Note that with some browsers, you may need to download a dictionary.

Not all locales come with a dictionary installed for licensing reasons. 
If you do not have the en-US locale then check that you have a dictionary installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and selected. 
 
You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu. 
Also make sure that [[X]"Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu has a tick. 
You can also try to toggle the "Check Spelling" item off and on again.

Despite my spell check being set, it does not work in Hotmail and some other websites.

I have the setting for spell check set up but it does not work on some sites like hotmail. I go to the spell check button in hotmail and it tells me that my browser will automatically check as I type but it doesn't. I've searched to override this or to get the spelling checked independently but without any luck, Any suggestions?
