Fault message thrown on R/3 but not passed to XI

Hi guys!
I have a problem with scenario SOAP->XI->ABAP Proxy. When exception is thrown on R/3 ABAP program, I can see it in sxmb monitor on R/3 , but in sxmb monitor on XI the message looks like delivered. I need to see the exception on the XI also! What could be wrong?

Arggggggggggggggggggggggg... got it...
If the scenario is async, it is really possible to see error only in sxmb on the r/3 side...
So if we have person, who continuosly monitors the XI, he can't see any error until he monitors 2 systems. R/3 and XI....
This is really not good solution!
It would be much better, if the R/3 would send the fault message to XI.
Creating sync scenario only for purpose to monitor errors only on XI, is ... strange, at least.
I just cant understandm why isn't the fault propagated

If the problem does not occur in Safe-mode then disable all of your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. Messages from PI are successful , but not shown in AIF error handling and monditoring

Dear All,
We have messages being triggered from PI to proxy and to AIF.
Messages status is shown as successful in sxmb_moni transaction but I don't get to see these in /AIF/err - error handling and monitoring transaction.
WHat could be the possible reason? would there be any missing authorization.
Note: this is working in Development but having this issue in test environment.

About ERR_WEB, probably run an old version, but this won't help you either, I think.
Another tip is to look in PI:
Is your service synchronous? For synchronous messages PI only persists the message in PI's message store if the abap proxy returns an error, such as a SOAP Fault. If your abap proxy is not returning an error, then make sure it does. You can raise an application error in AIF.
If PI already receives a SOAP fault, then I suggest you to check if the message was stored in PI: see SAP note 872388 to guide you on this task.

When I open Firefox I get the message "Firefox is already running but not responding . . .

I am using Firefox 3.6.9 with Windows XP SP3. Almost every time I try to open Firefox I get the message:
"Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."
I then must open Task Manager and find Firefox and stop the process.
I run Firefox on 4 Windows machines and this is the only machine that I have this problem on.
I have looked at the Mozilla Firefox KB and have tried to check on the items that could be causing the problem. I have update my Java in Firefox. I have un-installed Firefox leaving the Bookmark preferences, etc. on my machine, ran CCleaner to clean the Registry of remaining Firefox items and then re-installed Firefox - I still have the problem.
I have installed Google Chrome to fix this problem but now I find that several of the websites and companies I do business with are not compatible with Chrome.
How can I fix this problem? Why am I only having this issue on 1 of my 4 Windows machines?

Can I stop the output of PO message on change of order but not on creating

Can I set customising so that the PO automatically creates a message on creation of the order, but not when it is changed. That way the purchaser can choose to recreate the message if necessary. Sometimes changes are made to the order for internal purposes, but the order does not need to be resent to the Vendor. Currently this happens automatically via an email.
Alternatively, is it possible to print the whole PO when changes are made rather than just the bits that have been changed? To avoid confusing the Vendor with half the order being resent.

This is not possible on standard SAP. There is a workaround you can consider so user can reprint the entire PO. When users have made the changes and ready to print the PO, they can go to PO message screen and do the followings:
1. Delete the entry corresponds to change message (this is the row with yellow light and has check mark in the C column)
2. Select the row corresponds to the first printing of PO (this is the row with now check mark in the C column) and press on repeat output.
Once they've done these steps, the entire PO will be included in the output.
If you need to make this happened automatically, you will need to do custom development.

I want to send messages using my iPad Air but not as iMessages

I Don't want to use iMessages but do want to be able to send messages (they can stay green) because I sometimes want to do the message but not to another apple user. I am unable to send any messages using the text bubble icon, or receive them to look back at them, except on my phone. Do I need to sync those somehow or changes settings. I have disabled "iMessage" in my settings! I could do this for a while but have had several changes since then trying to get my iPad to be what I need it for.

New message address shows the Name but not full email address

The email To: will show the name eg John Doe but not the full description [email protected] If I click on the tab by the name I will see the full email address referenced. If mail sees just the name it sometimes says John Doe does not appear to be a valid email. If I send an email to myself at other email accts I have (aol for example) the mail does arrive. I think this may be related to address book but not sure. If I enter a new email in the TO in a new message It keeps the entire email address, I think. Anyway just want some feedback about this since thee is a degree of uncertainty here

mail will indeed draw from address book's contacts. if you have in mail>preferences>viewing the option "use smart addresses" checked, then the name of the contact will be displayed in the to/from... fields and you can see the full email address when selecting the tab next to the name. so that is normal behavior. if you enter a new email address for which you do not have a contact card created in address book, then that will remain as an email address in the field you entered it to. you would have to create a card in address book, add that email address, and then the name of the contact would appear in an email field rather than only the email address.

Yosemite Mail copying messages to mailboxes scrolls down but not up

Hi all
I frequently move messages from the Inbox to mailboxes by dragging them to the sidebar. If the destination mailbox is off the screen, it scrolls to it when I hold the message over the top or bottom of the sidebar. In Yosemite it will do this downwards but not upwards! Very odd.

Curent problem for me - upgrade to 5.1 today causes my email accounts to be stuck in "checking for mail" mode -- no new email coming in - I have two accounts - gmail and an Exchange outlook - both stuck. I deleted my gmail account and reinstalled but it did not help - now I have none of the emails on their that I had before, and it is still stuck checking for mail. Since uninstalling and reinstalling gmail did not help, I have not tried that with my Exchange account for work.

OSA-Error message shows up in R3, but not in Portal(BSP)

I'm working on Objective Setting & Appraisal with workflow & portal. At the template level I've put some business check which if not met at the document level throws up error msg. This works fine in R3 and the error msg is shown at the bottom of the screen at the status bar.
But this same error msg doesn't show up when I open the document in the portal through workflow. The appraisal document opens in the portal through BSPs. When the condition is not met, on saving or submitting the page remains there ... but no error msg. We tried to show the error msg as a pop up and the pop up works fine in R3 but not in portal.
Pls advice how to solve this problem.

We have used the application hap_document under BSP Application. And we have not used any standard user exit. All we have done is created a new enhancement under HRHAP00_DOC_BC ;ie; Appraisal Document - Business Check.
I can see one document_error.htm Document - Error Handling. Do I have to do anything with this page ? if so, should it not call this page automatically whenever there is an rror msg ?

By invoking a Web Service operation through a signature/encryption enabled Proxy Service in the ALSB Test Console for Proxy Services, i get a successful response.

I cannot explain, why the replay of the request does not work from outside the Service Bus. Is there some sort of unique data mixed into the CipherValue data or something like that?

Messages are displyed in AE but not in IE

We are implementing the SAP PI interfaces for our new project.
And while testing we are facing the veered bhaviour of SAP PI functionality.
while testing we can't see all the messages in SXI_MONITOR.
For example Inbound interfaces JMS to IDoc,
I can see 10 successfull messages in adapter engine monitoring and also in ECC WE02 I can see 10 Idocs.
But in SXI_MONITOR I can see only 2 messages.
There is one to one scenario for one JMS message from queue we are generating one Idoc using XSLT mapping.
So can anybody help me to resolve this or point out if any setting is missing from basis side.

May be the time frame that you are setting in the filter or IE is not in range of time that the message flowed.
1. Check in rwb-->IE-->message overview. Check if the count shows same as IE or not.
2. Get the messaged ID's from the AE and search in IE. See if you can find it.
3. I hope you are not using ICO's . As messages for ICO's cannot be found in IE

Idoc with error message when coming from middleware but not in we19

I am facing a very strange issue !
I have a Z - Idoc type and corresponding inbound function module for creating schedule lines i.e. doing something what me38 does.
When my middleware i.e. Mercator Websphere is sending the idocs, they fail with the error message in the status record as
Field EKET-MENGE (19) does not exist in the screen SAPMM06E 1117.
But when I try processing the same idoc using we19, the scheduling lines are created and the schedule agreement is changed.
Is there any difference between we19 and when idocs come from the middleware ?
Points would be rewareded if useful answers received.

Well i think that the problem is with your BDC. there is an option to use standard size in BDC. I think your table control falls short of 19 rows in your program. Please see the thread below and incorporate the same changes in your BDC. I think u might need to record the BDC again.

Messages Notifications working on Macbook but not iMac

So I update to Mavericks two days ago and everything is working great except for Messages. Now on my macbook, Messages works completely fine. I get a Notification when I get a new text from iMessage on my iOS and the syncing is great. But the problem I have is that on my iMac at work, Im not able to receive notifications for Messages. The syncing with my iOS is completely fine but I don't receive any Notificaitons. All of the settings are completely the same on both computers. And I've tried rebooting my phone as well.
Any suggestions?

In Applications/Utilities open the Activity Monitor
Find the Notification item and highlight it.
Now use the quit option top left and confirm Force Quit.
