Fax server integration with peoplesoft

Hi,
I want to integrate Fax Server with PSOFT 8.9. Can anybody suggest me any proper way or documentation. Please give me doccument id if it is available at my oracle support.
Thanks,

Allister,
I have integrated Forte with a GammaLink Fax NT workstation in a high
volume outgoing fax application. For more information on GammaLink,
go to www.dialogic.com, select alphabetic listing of products, select
G and select GammaLink. Good luck! Let me know if you have any
questions.

Hi,
The Perth office is about to start a project that requires a highlevel of
integration between a Forte application and a fax server. I would bevery
interested in hearing from you if you have any experience regardingthis.

Also, the final decision on what fax server to purchase has not beenmade
yet, so if you can recommend one for the following setup, it would be
helpful:
- NT Server
- MS Exchange - integration
- 25 - 50 Users
Cheers,
Allister

  • Integration with PeopleSoft Applications Using Oracle SOA Suite 11g BPEL

    Hi,
I'm integrating BPEL with Peoplesoft FSCM 9.0 Application on tools 8.49 using Oracle SOA Suite 11g. The BPEL invokes the web service method generated from Peoplesoft Component Interface in a synchronuos manner.
I have deployed the BPEL in Oracle SOA Suite 11g using Jdeveloper successfully but I have problem in configuring the BPEL node in Peoplesoft side using Oracle SOA Suite 11g(FMW) . I had done the integration of BPEL with Peoplesoft FSCM 9.0 on tools 8.49 using Oracle SOA Suite 10g earlier successfully by configuring BPEL node properties as follows:
BPEL CONSOLE : http://Host Name:8888/BPELConsole (System with Oracle SOA Suite 10g server for deployment)
    BPEL DOMAIN : default
Using this BPEL node configuration, I was able to ping the BPEL console of Oracle SOA Suite 10g from peoplesoft and hence complete the integration successfully.
Now in order to acomplish Business rules and other functionality, the BPEL application has been developed in Oracle SOA Suite 11g using Jdeveloper 11g. This time I'm not able to configure the BPEL node in Peoplesoft for this integration as I'm assuming there is no separate BPEL console in Oracle SOA Suite 11g. All the BPEL deployments are administered in console (11g console used for deployment of BEPL)
http://Host Name:7001/em (System with Oracle SOA Suite 11g server - Fusion Middleware).
So when I Configured the BPEL node property in Peoplesoft as :
BPEL CONSOLE : http://Host Name:7001/em (System with Oracle SOA Suite 11g server for deployment)
    BPEL DOMAIN : default
I'm not able to ping the Peoplesoft BPEL node to the Oracle SOA Suite 11g. Hence I'm not able to proceed with my integration.
When I searched the OTN discussion forum on BPEL console for Oracle SOA Suite 11g, all threads point that there is no separate BPEL console unlike Oracle SOA Suite 10g. Also most of the articles for Integration with Peoplesoft Application using SOA 11g do not state any specific configuration setting for property of Peoplesoft BPEL node in order to integrate with BPEL 11g. The examples published in OTN still point towards screen shots of integration using SOA Suite 10g.
So I'm not able to proceed in this regard.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Girish

    Hi,
I found this document from the Oracle Open World 2009 (maybe you have found it too) :

And this could be a little more simple, but have a good step-by-step tutorial.

    Any clues about this..
How to add HTTP header on top of the response..
    Thanks,
    Azeem.

We have this working at our organization and my guess is that this is related to either a missing routing or having no security set on the service operation. We are only exploring this in test but we have the ESB set up as node in Peoplesoft. There is then routing defined from that node to financials. On the service operation we have attached the role PTPT1200. I am sure this is not best practice but we are currently only testing.
If you want to attach headers for authentication/authorization I am sure it is defined in the documentation although I don't have the link in front of me.

  • How To Setup A Local Exchange Server Integrated With Office365 For A Single Mailbox

    Hello,
We recently migrated to Office365 but had an issue since we need more than 16 simultaneous connections to a single mailbox. Because of this, we need to deploy a local Exchange Server that will be used to host a single mailbox that requires up to 500 simultaneous
connections for a Contact Center application. I'm looking for information on how to setup the local Exchange Server to basically create a local instance of a mailbox hosted on Office 365. So we can have our application open the numerous simultaneous connections
to our local server which will then connection to Office 365 to send/receive email through the mailbox hosted on Office365.
Please let me know if you have any information or resources you can direct me toward.
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi,
To deploy local Exchange server integrated with Office 365, we can depend on Exchange Server Deployment Assistant:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exdeploy2013/Checklist?state=2419-W-AAAAAAAAQAAAAAEAAAAAAAA%7e
Please note that there may be 9646 error if there are many simultaneous connections at the same time.

  • Lync Server Integration with Exchange 2013

    Hello,
I have Exchange 2013 standard edition server installed and running successfully on a Windows 2012 machine. Now, I would like to have a Lync 2013 server integrated with it. I came across some links telling that its not possible to integrate Unified Messaging
in the Exchange standard edition and would need an Enterprise edition license. But, when I checked my ECP, I could see that UM is already there and its enabled.
So, Is it possible to integrate Lync 2013 with Exchange 2013 standard edition? What all things I need to take care of while Integrating? If someone could shed some light on this, that would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nash Burns

Yes you can integrate Lync 2013 with Exchange 2013 Standard, the only big difference between Exchange 2013 Standard vs Enterprise is the number of mailbox databases (5 vs 50).
Follow this link for information on integrating the two: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj688098.aspx (specifically integrating Lync with Exchange for Voicemail http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj687983.aspx)
Having said that, the confusion may be related to User CALs. You need Exchange Enterprise User CALs to use the Unified Messaging components. (I believe they still work regardless, but
to be properly licensed and compliant you need to have the correct number of Enterprise CALs for the number of users that use UM)

  • UPK integration with Peoplesoft Help

    Hello,
I am investigating how to integrate UPK with the context sensitive help in Peoplesoft.
I found that just like peoplebooks, you can map the help link to the URL for UPK content directory on the server along with the search on Context ID and language parameters.
Next I found from the documentation of UPK that there is a context id in the optional name field of the UPK.
And also there is a default value for it.
My question is to integrate UPK with the context sensitive help, we need each UPK content to be mapped to a context id.
Is it done by defualt when we record the UPK content from the application or it has to be done manually?
And if it is manual then how much of effort is involved in this?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Hakan,
    Thanks for your response.
We have already done the UPK and related content integration.
The requirements are not yet finalised, hence we are looking at the possibility of both the options for UPK.
And trying to sort out the technical details for each of them.
Related content integration definitely works, now looking at the help link integration for UPK.
    Thanks,

  • Integration with Peoplesoft using OA adapter

    Hi
I am not experiened on integrating/consuming Peoplesoft functionality from external system/application/BPEL/OSB.
What i understood after reading few messages that Peoplesoft Intergration Broker can be used to expose Peoplesoft component interface as services which can be consumed/invoked by any system/application/BPEL/OSB.
But i have requirement from our client that he wants to replace Peoplesoft Intergration Broker with oracle fusion middleware stack. In that context, i think only solution would be using Oracle Application adapter for Peoplesoft to expose Peoplesoft component interface as service, and which can be later consume in OSB/BPEL.
    Please suggest.

  • Third party integrating with PeopleSoft

I know this is a rather generic question but I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I work for a company that has many customers who utilize PeopleSoft. Over the years we've built integrations with each of our customers individually. We're now looking at trying to bring some standardization to those integrations.
In looking into this, it seems that the communication protocols offered are pretty standard (FTP, AS2, etc.). My question revolves more around the message format and content. We typically exchange vendor, invoice and payment information with our customers.
Is there a base message schema/definition of these entities in PeopleSoft that we could utilize?
I understand that every customer has customization done to meet their needs. Right now we're sending XML/positional/CSV/etc. formatted messages with various sets of attributes. If there is some base format of these messages, we're hoping that we could reduce some custom integration work for both ourselves and our customers.

Depending on the PS version you use, you can have a look at the following link.
    https://psft-updates.oracle.com/psc/UGPRD/CUSTOMER/ISR/c/PTIS_INTEGRATION.PTIS_QUERY_INTG.GBL?&
Its a good place to start with. This will give you a list of all the EIPs that PS delivers OOB.

  • Event Server Integration with other Products

I have been using the EDA approch in my SOA project for few years now. These were based on JMS and other modes of Events supported by the WLI, BPM products. Now we have a dedicated Event processing server can we expect utilities/UI components that would easE the integration with other BEA products? What is the time frame for the avilability for this as well as the console for the Wev server?

    Hello,
Thank you for your post. We do have some integrations with other Adobe products planned for the future, but it's too early to announce our plans. We appreciate your enthusiasm for Buzzword - please keep the suggestions & ideas coming.

  • OAM Integrating with peoplesoft

how to link the users in OAM and peoplesoft if the userid are different in OID from people soft userid,
can anyone tell me the solution.

Unless you are familiar with PeopleSoft, I would think your client should guide you in this integration. PeopleSoft has various ways to communicate with the "outside" world and I can give you the link to the PeopleTools PeopleBooks (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17566_01/epm91pbr0/eng/psbooks/psft_homepage.htm) but I highly doubt that will help you when you don't have any experience with PeopleSoft.
Easiest option with sending to an outside application and receiving results is, in my opinion, still a webservice. But then your client should do some work as well otherwise they will never be able to send anything at all. Direct link to documentation on PeopleTools 8.52 would be http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E41509_01/pt852pbh2/eng/psbooks/tibr/book.htm
