Faxing via SMTP using Faxination 5 as the Fax Server

Hi,
I need to setup faxing from a ECC6 server using a Faxination 5 server. Currently we have it setup OK using a 4.6C server but ECC6 doesn't work.....so I am looking for a work around.....this is were I hope you guys can help
I was thinking of setting up Faxing via SMTP (using MS Exchange) and the Faxination 5 server, has anyone done this? Or know if it can be done using Faxination?
Faxing is possible from Exchange using a Faxination Exchange connector and I have looked at the thread Extraneous "FAX=+" prefix when sending faxes via SMTP and it would appear that other people have set this up using different Fax software. Does anyone know what format the fax server will be looking for?

Hello,
Basically the RFC interface of SAPConnect has not been changed, so your FAXServer should be able to handle RFC Faxing also in ECC6 Server.
You can recheck the configuration. /* Or copy here the error message, so we can take a look at */
The output formats can be set-up in the SAP System also for SMTP Faxing.
I think the destionation format should only depend on your Fax server needs.

how to configure router to use ip pool on the aaa server for vpn clients . i want to use vpn clients to connect to the router. authenticate using the aaa server username databse and also use the ip pool cretaed on the aaa server. i am not able to find the command on the router pointing to use the pool created on the aaa server. can u some one help me with this command.

Cannot get db mail to work via SMTP Relay for Office 365 in SQL Server 2014 on Windows Server 2012 R2

Our company recently moved to Office 365 which mean our on premise exchange server went away as well with the move. I am trying to configure my new sql server (OS-Windows Server 2012 R2, DBMS- SQL 2014 Std Edtion). After some searching I found
this article (http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2013/02/25/how-to-configure-sql-database-mail-so-send-emails-using-office-365-exchange-online-a-walkthrough.aspx) and have followed these steps exactly, but to no avail. I did some further research
on the SMTP relay I setup and found a way to test it (listed here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn592151(v=exchg.150).aspx at the bottom of the article). If I drop the email.txt file in the pickup folder, it gets sent out no problem.
I have configured my db email exactly as describe here(http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2013/02/25/how-to-configure-sql-database-mail-so-send-emails-using-office-365-exchange-online-a-walkthrough.aspx). But keep getting an unable to connect
to SMTP server error. I have even tried completely shutting down firewall to see if that is the issue and multiple restarts. Any ideas how to get this to work on Office 365?

I followed this blog and got the below error message in the Database Mail Log.
“The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 2 (2014-06-11T19:34:00). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Unable to relay
for [email protected]).”
If you are getting the same error message, you can try the below steps to resolve the issue.
1. Open the IIS 6.0 management console. Right click on the SMTP server and open the properties window.
2. Click on the Access tab, click Relay button under Relay restrictions. loopback IP address (i.e 127.0.0.1).
Then the email should be sent out from Database Mail without problem.

How to set a different smtp in and out on the same server

Hello,
I got an xserve on 10.5.6 and the ethernet ports are connected to two differents networks. One is on the local network (192.168.0.5) and the other on a wan. The lan is on ADSL box that is also the router. I would like to receive my email from the adsl box (it work like this actualy - smtp in) but sent the mails from my user with the wan (smtp out). I did'nt find any setting on the admin server graphic interface and Apple confirms that it is not possible without modifing files with the terminal. (they did'nt give the solution:()
Is anyone can help me to make this configuration work.

Short answer: you can't - at least not directly.
What you're trying to do breaks the fundamental rules of IP routing - specifically you can only have one default route that's used for all non-local traffic. That route will either point out our ADSL link or your second WAN link. You cannot route by port or protocol.
Your best bet is to use an SMTP relay where you tell your server to relay all outgoing mail through an intermediate server (rather than directly to the destination domain). Then you can setup a static route to that relay over the second WAN link to override the default route.

Thanks for your response. I decided to test this with the publish/subscribe messaging. Something I thought would work is not. Here is the simple example;

Here is I got an answer, I was doing same mistake.
You cannot authenticate with an outlook.com account when you use the management shell. You have to use a @yourtenant.onmicrosoft.com
account or an account where the domain has been associated with your O365 tenant like @contoso.com . Microsoft accounts cannot be used with the management shell.

Escalation in BPM11g using "organization" and not the ldap server

I want to implement the escalation of a task from user1 to user2.
How can i achieve this by management approval process instead of using the ldap (i.e. defining the manager and other higher approver titles and assigning the users to these titles in ldap).
What i know is we can create a logical hierarchy using Organizational Units.
I guessed that I can provide a OU hierarchy and use it for the Management Task.

1) Firstly write a EJB Class and by using EJB adapter fetch all the groups and the users using EJB service call ....
Consider,
Group A Has 2, 3 Users with a manger
Group B Has 4, 5 Users with a Director
Group C Has 4, 5 Users with a CEO
and etc....
2) Send the mails to all the Users and the Manager/Director / CEO of that group respectively if a specific task is not completed by any of the users then escalate to his supervisor/Reporting-manager

I am trying to capture the job duration time and put it on the customized Job email subject.
This is the original message from SQL server, the Bold one is what I am trying to capture.

Connecting to the RH Server - Additional Security?

We are testing using our RH8 output on RH8 Server. Setting up the environment went really smoothly except that for some reason we can't publish from our RH8 projects. We get an "Unable to Connect to the RoboHelp Server" error message. The error message even very helpfully suggests using WebHelp output instead. ROTFL! We can see the server and can even get to the default page where the output should be placed when I connect to it via a remote desktop.
Our thinking is that another level of security is required to get this to work. In previous versions there was a IIS Internet Guest Account that was required for each website. As RH8 Server doesn't use IIS we are thinking that there must be something else that links the userid I use to connect to the physical server with the userid used to logon on the Configuration Manager. If we knew this, we could apply this security and test it out.
Is this making sense? Perhaps someone out there in RH8 Server has encountered this. If it makes a difference we are using Tomcat with the JRE and the build-in database. We will change this to use SQL Server Express once our testing is complete.

OK people you can all stand down as I have managed to figure out what was wrong. The "Server Name" path in my publish destination was missing one vital element. The should should be "<servername>:<port>/robohelp/server". For example if your server is called helpserver and you use port 8080 (it is recommended you do) the path would be "helpsever:8080/robohelp/server". I was missing the "server" off the end. Incidently there is an excellent discussion here with tons of useful information on the set-up and merged projects.
So now I have a successfully created and published project to test with the application. All I need to do now is merge 10 other help files and add context sensitive help. But enough already. Time to go home, have a beer and recharge for Monday. Thanks to Tulika, John, Peter, Kristan and others for the excellent resource mentioned above. Have a great weekend all.

Using WEBUTIL to transfer files to server

We need to transfer files from Forms client to database server filesystem.
It seems, WEBUTIL_FILE_TRANSFER doesn’t provide this functionality.
We modified supplied webutil_db package body, so if the blobtable parameter is 'FILE' – closeblob procedure will use UTL_FILE to write OS file instead of updating blob in table.
Now we can call
webutil_file_transfer.client_to_db (clientfile => myclientfilename,
tablename => 'FILE',
columnname => myserverfilename,
whereclause => myserverdir
This solution is working fine, but, of course, our concern is compliance of our custom changes with future releases of WEBUTIL.
Any plans to add something like Client_To_Server procedures to webutil?

Just a thought..
1) make table that accepts your blob via client_to_db.
2) write a after insert trigger that copies file to an Oracle Directory on db file system.
You could also maybe use this PLSQL ftp package.. I havent used it.. Users talk about it frequently on other forums here, namely the sql and plsql forum.

With XUTL_FTP the transferring of the file IS the data loading process.
The file is NOT copied to disk, it's simply 'poured' straight into whatever table you like!
If this wasn't enough, it also has the other following uses:
unloading BLOBS to the database server file system (as UTL_FILE does not have a working binary implementation until 10g)
arbitrary unloading of data to remote servers

Recently backing up my ipad onto my macbook, which is the backup server for all of my gadgets. This includes all my photos and tons of music. The macbook said it could not backup the ipad because there was insufficient disc space to do so. What now?

I have a macbook operating OSX10.6.7. Recently backing up my ipad which had lots of photos from a recent vacation. I use this laptop as the backup server for all of my gadgets so it has thousands of photos and tons of music. It just told me that it couldn't back up the ipad bc there wasn't enough disc space. I was afraid that this would happen eventually. What next? Newer laptop with more space? I'm not sure what files I could sacrifice to free up more space as most of these are important.

What size hard drive do you have in your MacBook? The cheapest options are, a larger internal hard drive, or an external drive. Or you could get a cheap desktop PC and network to it for storage. I've got one that lives in the hall with 3 Terabytes (That's 3000gb) of storage.

while testing the jco maintained for Ess applications.
if i go for uidpw method for modeldata destination i am getting the error. in the Ess pages that administrtor not in this peroid(administrator with which id i maintained jco destination)
if i assign one employee to the admin in pa30......for every employee getting the same details of admin)
I guess this problem with modeldata ......i should maintain the usermanagement method for modeldata jco destination is logon ticket.
while maintainig that ping is successfull but getting the above error.
it is the problem with production server.......of E.P
in dev and quality everything is working fine.

Please check the logon group properties for SAP system in t-code SMLG. If there is any issue with logon group then it might cause for this issue.

i am a peoplesoft dba. i am trying to install peoplesoft internet architecture.
the O.S is windows 2000, database is oracle, application server is using Tuxedo
6.5. the web server is weblogic 6.12. i have installed all the components and
am able to log on to the peoplesoft application in 3-tier mode.
now i am trying to set-up the 3-tier web connection. i have created a domain -
VISTDEV. the JSL port is 9000, HTTP port is 80. when i am starting the PIA service
through --- startPIA.cmd under my domain, i am getting the following error:

I suppose you have set the SSL port to 443 however, it looks like port 443 is

I cannot open HFM Application from Workspace. Planning works fine.
Restarted the HFM services and tried but no use.
Error shows "The RPC Server is Unavailable. Error code:- 2147023174
