FB game apps and Pinterest not loading correctly
MacBook Pro
OS is the most recent version of Lion.
Safari is the most recent version.
Adobe Flash is updated/installed.
Java is updated and enabled.
One FB game tells me java needs to be enabled. It is. One game gives me a message to wait while it loads but it never loads. The third game loads but when I try to play, it just reloads the screen and I cannot play.
Pinterest only loads the top part of the page. None of my boards or my friends' boards load. I cannot pin anything. I can pull down the category menu and view my account page.
I have notified Pinterest and FB--multiple time. Their advice was to clear cookie cache...done. It didn't help. I was also advised to change my browser. I bought an Apple so I wouldn't have to use Google Chrome or Mozilla.
Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have any advice (besides changing my browser?)?
Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage. There's also a second (or more) page tobthe right but they invariably appear at the bottom of the first page.

Ping shot up and pages not loading correctly
Hi guys,
For some reason there appears to be a slight problem and I'm not entirely sure what it is.
My ping is fluctuating around 110-160ms and the connection is not being stressed in any way. Also, the ping to the exchange/POP is 8/7ms and it also is to the 3rd hop. If my connection was being stressed the ping to the 3rd hop would be massive but it isnt as seen below:

Anyone know what is going on? It is very frustrating; Facebook isn't even loading correct and I've left it for 5 minutes now.

The test above is obviously carried out on BTw's network but the tracert is very weird; some hops after the suspect one report normal pings but the BBC doesn't?
Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Apologies over the stats; they are displaying on my end. That range problem is one of the reasons I don't use a HomeHub; I use a Billion 7800N.

Photos app and Calendar not working correctly since upgrade.
I was trying to insert a photo into a Word document. When I go to the finder the photos app is grey. I cannot chose it or find my pics. Why? I tried dragging and dropping. That doesn't work either.
My calendar has been working fine since I upgraded, until today. I powered on today and my calendar is blank. I have TONS of stuff saved on there. I have gone through the preferences and checked all settings, everything looks fine. I even re-entered things just to let it refresh, to no avail. Any suggestions.

Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library/Calendars and restore from the backup. -
Certain Apps and Webpages not loading?
Hi guys. I can't get on to Steam or iChat, they just say that the network is down, (or in iChat's case, it says the host disconnected.) And in any web browser, YouTube images refuse to load, and same with the video, and yahoo.com is just off completely. What's going on? I didn't do anything to start this, it just happened? Thanks.

First Issue: All of my purchased apps (games) and apps such as Weight Watchers, Facebook, WeatherBug, Sports and Pinterest, Notes, Nook, etc. are all locked up. They simply flash, then nothing! How can I fix this to make them work again? If I have to delete the purchased apps, will they still be in iTunes, or will I have to re-purchase them?
Second Issue: When I synced to my desktop (Windows XP) All my photos loaded onto my iPad2. I don't really want all 3000 + pics on my ipad!! How do I get them off? Next time I synced, they loaded again! Now I have so many duplicates! How do I get rid of the photos and prevent this from happening again?If none of your third-party apps are working, but the Apple built-in ones are ok, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted. For synced photos, then with the iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, then on the Photos tab on the right-hand side you can control which photos are synced to the iPad : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 . If you don't want any photos to be synced then try selecting just an empty folder. -
My sister has given me an old iPod touch 2 I think it is and after resetting the account info to mine the content was wiped and can not load any games now as it runs 3.1.3 and there all saying they need iOS 5 how can I update it to this
I suspect you have the original, 1G iPod touch. Those can only go as high as iOS 3.1.3,
If y ohave a 2G those can go as high as 4.2.1

This just started happening a few days ago. When I go to facebook the pictures are distorted and nearly impossible to discern who is in them. App store and applications not running correctly on the 4GS
I upgraded my iphone last night from the 4G to the 4GS, I downloaded all of the updates and the back up. today my phone is very slow, the APP store will not load, and other applications are running very slow or will not open. I have rebooted my phone, deleted apps such as netflix and face book re downloaded, earlier was able to, now I cannot. Does anyone have any suggestions, wondering why I upgraded my phone??????

Websites not loading correctly and flash videos not playing
When I visit sites like '''ign.com''' and '''joystiq.com''', they do not display correctly and Flash videos never load. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled twice to version 9.0.1 with no change. The second time I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to help make sure I got rid of all registry entries and residual files. Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

How can I fix Facebook if the graphics and format do not load correctly?
I've already tried disabling, enabling JavaScript. I've cleared my history and cookies. I've checked for malware. It still does not load correctly.
Are you missing images?
If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

* Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
* Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
* Check the exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
* Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain. -
Recent iOS update has made my iPad 2 unusable. The screen locks up. It's very laggy and web pages do not load correctly. Is there a fix for this or are they even working on a fix.
Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
(C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)

Hi my iPod touch gen 4 has stopped working properly and App Store will not load but Internet will, also you tube also won't load. Any ideas? I should probaly also add that I have also recently tried to download a screen recorder from safari and a message keeps popping up and saying that it can't verify server, even for this website

How do I uninstall an app? I downloaded a few free games, and apps, and do not want them. Please let me know how this is done. Thanks.
Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking (you can't delete any of the Apple built-in apps). If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'
