FB news feed is blank

My FB news feed is suddenly blank on my macbook pro. On my iphone it is there but not getting new feeds and says network error at the top.

Updated Info:
This error is caused by a Facebook server error (API errors) and is not an error on the BlackBerry server side.

Again, from what I've been told the issue is being worked on. Right now the workaround is to use WiFi (you may have to turn off the mobile network completely.) For some reason the mobile network connection to FaceBook isn't working as expected.

5230 Facebook App not loading news feed properly

I've had the 5230 for a couple of happy months but now the preinstalled Facebook app has gone a bit weird. It connects as normal and most things work except the most important one - the news feed! When it loads, I end up with a blank screen where the feed should be. To add insult to injury, I thought I'd try Nokia for Facebook & Twitter for Ovi store but when I download, it sticks on 0%.
I can access Facebook okay on the Snaptu app but that's not as easy on the eye. Anyone else having any probs with the standard Facebook app? So annoying!

Update - Reinstalled app which was a hassle considering ovi insists it is not available for the 5230 even tho the phone comes with it. Prats, making me trawl sites needlessly. Anyway, the news feed loaded again, but when you clicked on "other" for more feed it did not load. Today it will load a 2nd page but not a 3rd. Bizarre. This software blows.

Creating RSS News Feed of a BC Blog

Hey guys,
Thanks to these forums and Liam Ive been able to learn so much about webdesign, but became stuck again (at another very obvious thing I believe).
The thing is, Ive got my blog on BC up and running and the RSS feed also, but how do I go about creating an RSS News feed and displaying the newest posts in an iframe?
I am aware of some third party services that are able to do that, but i'd like to learn another way.

What I am trying to achieve is that I made a blog with BC catalyst and would like to show the newest post in some sort of News frame on my site (made in Muse) which would update automaticaly (and I understand this is done with the help of the blog's RSS feed?).
I have been able to do that with a third party online service, but they always show "Powered by ...." or some other stuff, which isn't ideal.

EDIT: Also, if it would be possible, I am using the Blank Widget Composition in Muse which shows a frame and a number of tabs below it. The frame shows a content and changes depending on which tab U click. Now Im probably asking too much, but do U guys think it would be possible to show the newest post by clicking on the first tab, second newest post by clicking on the second tab, etc?
The only thing I could think of would be to tag number the posts and then somehow substract 1 from the newest post. So let's say the newest post is 150-1=149 so after clicking on the second tab it would show 149 and so on for other tabs.

N97 facebook app NEWS FEED and WALL display issue

I've noticed a few people posting on Facebook fan pages for Nokia N97 orig and mini that the NEWS FEED and WALL pages are blank, yet you can login and view other pages such as FRIENDS, PHOTOS and INBOX.
When refreshing NEWS FEED and WALL, the page refreshes with no error, but does not display anything.
I changed all my facebook privacy settings to defaults in case that was the problem, but no luck. Also confirmed that the NOKIA application was allowed to access information in my facebook account.
Any suggestions?

I haven't used the standard Facebook app for over a year ! Try Nokia Social Messaging from beta labs (as mentioned) also Socially really good as an alternative, I use both.

Can't browse "save in" dialog box in BB News Feeds App

Blackberry Curve 9330 3G 6.0 bundle 2333 (v6.0.0.524) While in the BB News Feeds App, I would like to save a MP3. In the dialog box I click save. In the next dialog box I click browse. Dialog box is Save in .../blackberry/ringtones. I want to save in .../blackberry/music , I click menu and click up. Now I am in ...media card/blackberry. That's good, but now when I click the menu and click open I get random files to save in. I don't have the small window that lets me pick which folder I want to save my music in. I know the folders exist because I can go to them in the file app. If .../blackberry/music does appear when I use the menu button, I can save in that location. This may take five or so clicks before this choice appears. Where is the small window in the dialog box that lets me pick the folder? I think this started happening after the last update to curve. Was it a Java update? I don't know.

My site is an aggregated view of all tasks assigned to the logged in user. When
i follow a task in News feed a personal task is created in My task
(WmaAggregatorList_User internal name) list. When i Edit the personal task and
change the Projects
drop down to the required Project Name and Check -"Make this task public to project
members" it just creates a task is specific Site and moves
the task.<o:p></o:p>
I tried to
find if Projects and Check box are columns of Task list , but did not find any
columns.<o:p></o:p>
I am trying
to create a event receiver which would make these columns be set to Site Name
and check box checked so that when user creates a task it will directly move to
Custom Task list.<o:p></o:p>

I'm using iphone 4s and after upgrading to ios 6, my facebook app seems to have lsot the 'share' button altogether, which means i cant share anything on my news feed. I cant change my profile or cover pic on fb which i could before the upgrade. Help Pls

I've never been able to share FaceBook posts nor seen the option using the iOS FaceBook app regardless the FaceBook app and iOS version. I can Like and I can Comment, and if I select a link or video to view under iOS 6, I can use the Share option for the link or video, but not for a post.

try going into settings, safari and clear history. You may also want to clear cookies (means you will need to sign back into sites)
It's possible that that page is a popup ad of some sort that can't run, for example a flash based ad. You may have picked the cookie up browsing the internet and now that it's in there the only way to get rid of it is to clear your history and cookies.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.

I am facing an issue while accessing SharePoint 2013 news feed REST api URL <SiteCollectionURL>/_api/social.feed/my/news from browser giving error "The server encountered an

This is happening after posting the image to news feed without entering any text or description with that. If i post an image with some text or description, then i can able to get the feeds. Or else if i delete the image post then also i can able to get

It doesn't go anywhere in that: that isn't a feed, it's a web page. A feed is a text file in XML format.

Is anyone else getting "No stories to show" on their facebook news feed since the ios 6 update?

Ever since I downloaded the ios 6 update, I can no longer access my news feed on the facebook app. It consistently tells me there are no stories to show. I have done a hard reboot, shut the phone off then turned back on, reinstalled the facebook app about 5 times. I don't know what else to do. I know I couldn't possibly be the only person this is happening to.

I think this might have something to do with wireless connections.
Downloads and browsing appear somewhat faster while using my mobile carrier's network but very slow on my home wireless or any other wireless.
I have not experienced problems with autocorrect yet.

I understand that you are having issues printing, after some documents you are getting blank pages. I would be happy to help you.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
What application are you printing from?
It may be a setting in the application.
Does this happen from all applications?
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. http://www.hp.com/go/tools>Using HP Diagnostic Tools for HP Printers in Windows.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)

My system crashed several months ago -- had to go back to start, when i bought computer -i have reloaded firefox - and now i can not get pictures on Facebook -mine or any one else in the news feed

When I first downloaded Firefox- everything was normal -- then my computer had to be taken back to the way it was from the factory. I had Trojans. Now I have reloaded Firefox, and I get no pictures on Facebook. I get all of the graphics when I go to a game site, and it is fast--Thank you!!, but when I am on my Homepage or News feed, all I get are the names, but no pictures of my friends or what they have posted --pictures. In my profile, I have no picture of myself that I have posted, or in my albums.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 4 times now, and still the same thing. PLEASE HELP ME-- I DO NOT LIKE WINDOWS EXPLORER-- IT IS SLOWER THAN MOLASSES IN A BLIZZARD-- IT TAKES MINUTES TO LOAD SOME OF MY GAMES-- AND SOME WON'T LOAD AT ALL.

With Facebook on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see the [[site identity button]] article) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see [[Images or animations do not show]].
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.
