Material document print output issue
For the goods issue the ouput WA03 is getting triggered,in Mb03 we are able to see the print output details as successfully processed. But the user isn't getting print and the parameter NDR is also maintained.
Why the user is not geeting print?
Thank you.hi,
There few points to check:
1. check whether the printer is properly assigned or not
2. Check whether the printer is not plugged out..
3. Check whether the printer is properly assigned to your organisation may be at plant level...
Hope it helps..

Issue in purchase order print output
Hi All,
When we issue a print output from Purchase order the special characters like u201C , u2018 , & etc are appearing as # .But the print preview is fine.
In order to avoid this we have maintained the proper device type for the output device(In transaction SPAD ).
After this setup the upper part of the header text is appearing but lower part of header text still has # in place of the special characters .Please let me know how this can be avoided.
Regards,
S.SubasreeHi,
It seems the problem is because of CODE PAGE or Drivers. Check the language settings in your system and driver settings output device.

Update was terminated when trying to issue print output using VL02N tcode
Hi friends,
I am getting follwing error when trying to issue print output using VL02N tcode:
Error: Update was terminated.
When seen in SM13 i saw following info for function module RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE,which was showing error:
Error Info: MC 601: Object requested is currently locked by user RAMU.
When seen in SM12,i don't find any lock by above user RAMU(which is my user id itself).
I request please give me some inputs on how to avoid this error.
Thanks & Regards
SeshagiriHi Nam,
This probelm is becuase you are trying to enter a record for which primary key already exists in the table.
The insertion you are doing with a set of values which already exist and sap is getting this error that the "Duplicate record during insertion". try to check your insertion values and through se16 check if they already exist in the table mkpf.
To rectify the data or else change the table and add one more unique to the primary key.

HP LaserJet P1102W - no print output in Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon Desktop
I've just done a default install of Linux Mint 17.1 - as feared, no print output.
I'm guessing I need to install a driver - but I couldn't find anything easily on HP site, only Windows/Mac OS stuff. Are HP printers generally linux friendly? Where can I download drivers if they are? More over, I'm a total linux newbie, so any drivers need to be easily installed! I'm not currently familiar with Terminal windows and line commands!
My printer does have wireless enabled, but I have it connected via direct USB also.
Linux Mint did offer to run a diagnostic tool/debugging tool which gave a great deal of what means nothing to me. Debug output is below if it is helpful, but hoping a simple driver install will cure all ...
Debug Output:

There is no printer output when using the PrintOut method
I have a VB6 app with CR XI, and a customer found a situation that when printing a report directly to the printer using the PrintOut method, there is no printer output or error message.
Some reports using the same code print normally, but a report that is preceded by another print call, presents this behavior.
And when the output is directed to the screen, we can see the report.
Could someone give me an idea of what is the problem?
Thanks,
Isis

End IfHi Isis,
Not sure if you have applied any service Packs to CR? If please do so and test again. Then you can upgrade to CR XI R2 for free, use your XI Keycode and download Service Pack 4 from this link:
https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100011802732008E/crxir2_sp4_full_build.exe
You'll find the distribution files for your app also from that same download area.
If you don't want to upgrade to XI R2 then download all patches from XI and test again. This issues rings a bell that it may have been fixed.
Thank you

IN iMG settings OPK8 you need to set the Script forms, program name, list contorls, and printer specifications. against the lists
to get your required data you need to edit the program assigend to the Goosde issue slip.

Color management settings for the best print output
Color Management while Printing has been one of the challenging areas which has been discussed a lot over user forums and has been a painful area in terms of clear understanding while taking print outputs.
Here is an easy-to-understand KB (Knowledge Base) article ‘Color management settings for the best print output’ to help you get the best from your printers using PSE and bridge that knowledge gap.
This article explains color management in Photoshop Elements, how to get better prints, and addresses some of the following issues like horizontal/vertical streaks in print output, too dark or too light print output, ICC profile problems and Color differences between prints from PSE and other applications.
Thanks,
GarryThanks Noel.
Yes have shared in PSE forum as well. But I usually drop such posts on PS General forum so community moderators as well as our power users who mostly use both PS or PSE or are aware about can communicate to their students, audiences etc.
The idea is to reach out the message to as many as folks via relevant forums. Most of my otehr posts have found mentioned only on PSE forum.
Thanks for the feedback Nice to hear such a great feedback within 5 mts of publishing

Adobe Reader printer output not printing with printer
Hi all,
I've downloaded the current Adobe Reader 9.3 and have not been able to print. It sends the file to my print spooler where I check on it and see that the job is tagged with an error. I've just got the 10.6.3 but this also occurred under 10.6.2 Mac OS. I posted a bug alert to Adobe. My printer is a Canon. I sometimes choose to use Adobe Reader in leu of Preview when filling out a form. Personal choice at this point, but in the past, only Adobe preserved the correct font and all of the form.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
Not sure if this is a printer driver issue or a output error. But the printer works with everything else.
LincI have a similar problem that my mac mini running 10.6.3 with Adobe Reader 9.3.2. I print using a shared printer HP F2280 from iMac running 10.5.8 wireless airport.
When I print PDF from my mac mini, the share printer can only print a few lines and that stop. There is no error in the printer queue. It say accept print file.
I'm using preview to print PDF right now before solution come out. -
Hi,
There is a Strange issue I am facing now that is print output is getting changed according to the printer settings.
Even though I specified the output_options-tdprinter = 'ZPDFUC',and output_options-tddest = 'LP01' while calling smart form FM the printer option always takes the printer setting present in user profile.
Is there a solution where the smart form by default picks one printer but not in the User profile settings.
Regards,
DeepaHi,
There is a field check it and set the value X to overwrite the system details with manual settings. when calling the smartforms.
Thanks,

User getting print output with logo and footer is cut
Hi Experts,
User is trying to print a PDF from Portal system and the print output comes with the logo cut at the top on the right handside and footer cut at the bottom
Please can you let me know what could be the issue and how to investigate the issue
Regards,
RaviChandra.KatlaHi Nick,
The user has reverted back that the print is working fine when you print word documents or other systems
The user is trying to give print from the Portal system and says that
"it is not possible in e-Recruiting to choose a printer like it can be done in a SAP backend system. E-Recruiting is a web based application and with any correspondence scenarios which allows print outs there is only a button "print". Clicking on that button the e-Recruiting system is triggered to print the requested document on the network printer of the users. This process happens blind in the background and there is absolutely no user interaction (like choosing layout options, choosing printer, changing properties etc.) necessary or possible"
Also for your information print privew is getting dispalyed correctly
Please can you help us as the logo and footer is still cut, also please can you let me know if you require more information
Thanks and regards,
Ravi

Output Issue for order confirmation
We have a sales order contains 3 line items 10,20 & 30.
We have found the line item 30 has been created in the sales order change log,. after the line items 10 and 20 has created.
The print output copy is having 4 pages.
In that print preview the header data was appearing for item 10 on page 1 and the same header data was re-appearing for item 30 on page 3.
For better understanding we have taken the generated spool files of the sales order and compared with the print output copies which was sent by the user.
Also we found that all the header details ( sold-t0 & ship-to addresses ) are generating in the SAP spool file for all the 3 line items 10,20 & 30. Here the output is z output type.
But the header details are printing in the PDF ( print output ) for line item 10 and 30 only. ( Not printing for item 20 ).
As per the SAP print program, whatever layout is generated in SAP, same thing should print in PDF
So as we assume that there is some mismatch in the layout mapping. ( here the layout is JETFORM Server )
But we are not sure about the problem ?
Please help me on this ...Hi,
This can be due to various problems,
First check if there is any bug in the program itself. have a walkthrough. Once this is ensured, process one document in debugging mode for similar scenario and then check the spool.
You can convert the spool into PDF using your own program and then use the same spool for PDF conversion using some SAP programs like RSTXPDF4 etc. If there is an issue with your program, you can find out using these cases.
Also, there can also be problems which are printer specific. I would suggest you to test in different printers. Then only you can decide if ABAPer needs to fix it or you need a BASIS guy. -
Set print-output as default in Billing
Dear Friends,
To take a billing print out in SD module, we are using VF03 -> Inputing the Billing Document number -> Clicking the Billing Document option from the menu bar -> Selecting the Issue Output to -> (this gives the print output window) and here we have to select the message type eg. RD00 and click on the Print button.
Every time we have select the message type and go for the print option.
I need your help to set the message type RD00 as default on opening the print output window.
Please guide me to set the message type RD00 as default selection.
TIA.
Regards,
VincentHi,
If you have already maintain output determination procedure, you need to create condition record for the output condition type for invoice-standard (RD00) or your own condition type which you have maintain for invoice output.o to VV31 select your condition type and enter and give the required details(sales org, customer)press enter and give the language, select the line and click on communication to give the printer details and save.
Thanks

Hi Gurus, The end user have problem printing the EPF calculation for the employee.
The EPF report is showing different amount on the screen and on the print out. For Example ; On the screen is showing $11.30 but when we print out it appear as $11.20. The different amount appear only when you printing the hardcopy. So the printing Output is incorrect. What can i do to resolve this problem. Or is this BASIS issue or something to do with the ABAB program. Please suggest. Thank you. That sounds very weird... the first thing i'll check will be if theres any authorization issues (I seen these before where someone has no access for a specific cost center for example)... if that doesn't resolve your issue, you might have to debug the report
