FBU Internal Job Queue Full for Synchronous Processing of Print Requests
Hello All,
We are getting a lot of errors in system log (SM21) with the
Error : FBU Internal Job Queue Full for Synchronous Processing of Print Requests
User :SAPSYS
MNO:FBU
=============================================================
Documentation for system log message FB U :
If a spool server is to process output requests in the order they were
created using multiple work processes, the processing of requests for a
particular device can only run on one work process. To do this an
internal queue (limited size) is used.
If too many requests are created for this device too quickly, the work
process may get overloaded. This is recognized when, as in this case,
the internal queue is exhausted.
This can only be solved by reducing the print load or increasing
processor performance or, if there is a connection problem to the host
spooler, by improving the transfer of data to the host spooler.
Increasing the number of spool work processes will not help, as
requests for one device can only be processed by one work process. If
processing in order of creation is not required, sequential request
processing can be deactivated (second page of device configuration in
Transaction SPAD). This allows several work processes to process
requests from the same device thus alleviating the bottleneck.
Enlarging the internal queue will only help if the overload is
temporary. If the overload is constant, a larger queue will eventually
also be overloaded.
===========================================================
Can you please tell me how to proceed.
Best Regards,
Pratyusha
Solution is here:
412065 - Incorrect output sequence of output requests
Reason and Prerequisites
The following messages appear in the developer trace (dev_trc) of the SPO processes or in the syslog:
S *** ERROR => overflow of internal job queue [rspowunx.c 788]
Syslog Message FBU:
Internal job queue for synchronous request processing of output requests full
The "request processing sequence compliance" on a spool server with several SPO processes only works provided the server-internal job queue (see Note 118057) does not overflow. The size of this request queue is prepared using the rspo/global_shm/job_list profile parameter. The default value is 50 requests. However, if more output requests arrive for the spool server than can be processed (and the internal request queue is full as a result), more SPO processes are used to process the requests (in parallel), and the output sequence of the requests is no longer guaranteed.
Solution
Increase the rspo/global_shm/job_list profile parameter to a much larger value. Unfortunately, the value actually required cannot be found by "trial and error" because this queue contains all the incoming output requests on a spool server, not just the "sequence compliant" requests. A practical lower limit for this value represents the maximum sequence-compliant output requests for the above generated output device. If, for example, 1000 documents that should be output in sequence are issued from an application program to an output device, the queue must be able to hold 1000 entries so that it does not overflow if the SPO process processes the requests at a maximum low-speed.

Err:Internal Job Queue full for synchronous processing of print requests
Hi,
We are getting a lot of errors in system log with the
error :
Internal Job Queue full for synchronous processing of print requests.
User :SAPSYS
MNO:FBU.
When we check the document in syslog it states it can be solved by reducing the print load or increasing performance or if there is a connection problem to host spooler , by improving the transfer of data to host spooler..
But not by increasing the no of spool workprocess..
I think any of the one stated cannot be implemented ..
Pls provide your valuable answers and if any of the above can be implemented from your end..
Regds,
Satyanarayana NHi Vamshi,
Thanks for your response but would also like to confirm how we can say that spool queue is full and what may be the Max size of spool queue..
When we say Internal queue is full does it mean spool queue...
And also when I run the TEmse consistency check it is giving some errors..
When I check Spool requests there are some waiting process,but when I check Output requests there are only 1 or 2..
Please provide me your valuable solution regd this..

Spool Error - Errors occurred processing this print request
Hi,
I have a problem printing documents through spool.
1. I run a form from Form Builder, execute and select to print from spool
2. In SP02, I select the spool request created and Select Direct Printing.
Spool request Status is changed to error and following is the error log.
I get this for all print requests from spool. When I print these documents directly, I have no problem. I understand there is some problem with the spool server but do not know what it is.
I also observed that when the spool access method is G - I have no problems in printing.

Try to setup the printer at OS LEVEL.
then,
If on Windows---use method C.
if not,
use method U and map to your printer queue at OS level.

Multiple Queue Assignment for Integration Process - PI 7.11
Hi,
I am trying to configure multiple Queues for an Integration Process.
The Integration Process is straight forward, except for a Asynchronous Request Response pattern with correlation. (A asynch send step - immediately followed by a asynchronous receive step with Correlation)
I have done the following
1) In IR set the Queue as Multiple - Content Specific
2) In SWF_INB_CONF transaction reconfigured Multiple Queues - Content Specific without buffering
But when I trigger the message, the message is not at all triggering/entering the Integration Process. The error message is BPE Internal Failure.
But if I reconfigure the IP as One Configurable Queue & "Without Buffering", it is working. But we want multiple queues assigned to this Process.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sudharshan N ABjoern, there are blogs/wikis available which should be searched before a question is asked on forum. The information you need is quite basic one and I will therefore lock this thread.

I want an example for event Process on Value-request in Module Pool
Hi,
I need to populate f4 values for a field in module pool program under POV event.
Can anyone send me the sample code.
Helpful answers will be rewarded .
Thanks and Regards
AdityaHi
For F4 Values on Screen:
PROCESS ON VALUE_REQUEST
using module call starting with FIELD i.e FIELD field MODULE module
There are number of function modules that can be used for the purpose, but these
can fullfill the task easily or combination of them.
DYNP_VALUE_READ
F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST
F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST
POPUP_WITH_TABLE_DISPLAY
DYNP_VALUE_READ
This function module is used to read values in the screen fields. Use of this
FM causes forced transfer of data from screen fields to ABAP fields.
There are 3 exporting parameters
DYNAME = program name = SY-CPROG
DYNUMB = Screen number = SY-DYNNR
TRANSLATE_TO_UPPER = 'X'
and one importing TABLE parameter
DYNPFIELDS = Table of TYPE DYNPREAD
The DYNPFIELDS parameter is used to pass internal table of type DYNPREAD
to this FM and the values read from the screen will be stored in this table.This
table consists of two fields:
FIELDNAME : Used to pass the name of screen field for which the value is to
be read.
FIELDVALUE : Used to read the value of the field in the screen.
e.g.
DATA: SCREEN_VALUES TYPE TABLE OF DYNPREAD ,
SCREEN_VALUE LIKE LINE OF SCREEN_VALUES.
SCREEN_VALUE-FIELDNAME = 'KUNNR' . * Field to be read
APPEND SCREEN_VALUE TO SCREEN_VALUES. * Fill the table
CALL FUNCTION 'DYNP_VALUES_READ'
EXPORTING
DYNAME = SY-CPROG
DYNUMB = SY-DYNNR
TRANSLATE_TO_UPPER = 'X'
TABLES
DYNPFIELDS = SCREEN_VALUES.
READ TABLE SCREEN_VALUES INDEX 1 INTO SCREEN_VALUE.Now the screen value for field KUNNR is in the SCREEN_VALUE-FIELDVALUE and can be used for further processing like using it to fill the internal table to be used as parameter in F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST ETC.
F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST
This FM is used to display value help or input from ABAP dictionary.We have to pass the name of the structure or table(TABNAME) along with the field name(FIELDNAME) . The selection can be returned to the specified screen field if three
parameters DYNPNR,DYNPPROG,DYNPROFIELD are also specified or to a table if RETRN_TAB is specified.
CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST'
EXPORTING
TABNAME = table/structure
FIELDNAME = 'field name'
DYNPPROG = SY-CPROG
DYNPNR = SY-DYNR
DYNPROFIELD = 'screen field'
IMPORTING
RETURN_TAB = table of type DYNPREAD
F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST
This FM is used to dsiplay values stored in an internal table as input
help.This FM is used to program our own custom help if no such input help
exists in ABAP dictionary for a particular field. The parameter VALUE_TAB is used to pass the internal table containing input values.The parameter RETFIELD
is used to specify the internal table field whose value will be returned to the screen field or RETURN_TAB.
If DYNPNR,DYNPPROG and DYNPROFIELD are specified than the user selection is passed to the screen field specified in the DYNPROFIELD. If RETURN_TAB is specified the selectionis returned in a table.
CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'
EXPORTING
RETFIELD = field from int table whose value will be returned
DYNPPROG = SY-CPROG
DYNPNR = SY-DYNNR
DYNPROFIELD = 'screen field'
VALUE_ORG = 'S'
TABLES
VALUE_TAB = internal table whose values will be shown.
RETURN_TAB = internal table of type DDSHRETVAL
EXCEPTIONS
parameter_error = 1
no_values_found = 2
others = 3.
POPUP_WITH_TABLE_DISPLAY
This FM is used to display the contents of an internal table in a popup window.The user can select a row and the index of that is returned in the CHOISE
parameter.The VALUETAB is used to pass the internal table.
A suitable title can be set using TITLETEXT parameter. The starting and end position of the popup can be specified by the parameters STARTPOS_COL / ROW and ENDPOS_ROW / COL .
CALL FUNCTION 'POPUP_WITH_TABLE_DISPLAY'
EXPORTING
ENDPOS_COL =
ENDPOS_ROW =
STARTPOS_COL =
STARTPOS_ROW =
TITLETEXT = 'title text'
IMPORTING
CHOISE =
TABLES
VALUETAB =
EXCEPTIONS
BREAK_OFF = 1
OTHERS = 2.
e.g.
DATA: w_choice TYPE SY-TABIX.
DATA: BEGIN OF i_values OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE,
values TYPE I,
END OF i_values.
PARAMETRS : id TYPE I.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR id
i_values-values = '0001'.
APPEND i_values.
i_values-values = '0002'.
APPEND i_values.
i_values-values = '0003'.
APPEND i_values.
i_values-values = '0004'.
APPEND i_values.
CALL FUNCTION 'POPUP_WITH_TABLE_DISPLAY'
EXPORTING
ENDPOS_COL = 40
ENDPOS_ROW = 12
STARTPOS_COL = 20
STARTPOS_ROW = 5
TITLETEXT = 'Select an ID'
IMPORTING
CHOISE = w_choice
TABLES
VALUETAB = i_values
EXCEPTIONS
BREAK_OFF = 1
OTHERS = 2.
CHECK w_choice > 0.
READ TABLE i_values INDEX w_choice....now we can process the selection as it is contained
...in the structure i_values.
Other FM that may be used to provide input help is HELP_START .

BPEL Pick and Wait activity for Synchronous Process
Hi everyone,
Is it possible to use the pick and wait activity in bpel for recieving the synchronous webservices response .I need to invoke a synchronous webservice and want to use the pick activity onmessage branch to recieve the response of the synchronous webservice. I have tried the pick activity to recieve the response of asynchronous bpel process it is working fine.Now if i want to use the pick activity to recieve synchronous webservice response is it possible ?
If someone can help me in this regard it would be great.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Senthil Kumar.Athat's the thing , you can't
You must create another bpel (sincr ) in front of your asincr(bpel)
the sincr bpel will have a pick activity on the onResult(or onError) message from the asinc bpel. You pass the payload from OnResult to output and voila.
The asincr bpel will have at least 3 operations .
1. operation -
2.onMessage
3.OnResult
(4.OnError )
Be carefull how you put the roles and port types in the wsdl file. The callback must be first.
<portType name="xCallback">
<operation name="OnResult">
<input message="ns1:xResponseMessage"/>
</operation>
<operation name="OnError">
<input message="ns1:xFaultMessage"/>
</operation>
</portType>
<portType name="x">
<operation name="process">
<input message="ns1:xRequestMessage"/>
</operation>
<operation name="OnMessage">
<input message="ns1:xResponseMessage"/>
</operation>
</portType>
<plnk:partnerLinkType name="x">
<plnk:role name="xProvider">
<plnk:portType name="client:xCallback"/>
</plnk:role>
<plnk:role name="xRequester">
<plnk:portType name="client:x"/>

Is my internal HD too full for recording?
My MBP has a 120 GB HD, and 80 GB is in use. I need to be able to record up to 2 hours at a time, that's about 26 GB of HDV footage. It would just about fit with a little free space left over, but am I better off using an empty external USB drive?
I've done both with success. However, I would prefer to offload some of that 80GB to the external drive to free up space on the internal and thus remove a possible problem (such as cable failure, power failure to the external, who knows what else) from the signal chain.

Networked OJ 8500 that is extremely slow in job queuing.
We recently installed an OJ 8500 and the job queuing is extremely slow. The printer is networked (wired) and all users have the same problem. We run a combination of XP, Vista and Windows7. We have no problem getting the printer to print. Its just painfully slow. Job to job delays are 30 sec to 1 min. The first job is slow to start. Multiple copies of the same page print with this long delay between pages. The OJ 5400 we had previously did not have this problem. Can this be fixed?
Once the job hits the printer it prints immediately. It's right after you tap Print on the iPad that takes a long time. There is a box that pops up saying that the job is being processed (don't remember the wording exactly). Once the box disappears it also takes a bit of time for the job to hit the printer.
The actual process of the printer printing is normal.
Also, in some cases the iPad won't even see that there is a printer connected to the network even though the printer is powered on, online and the iPad is connected to the home network. Usually a reboot of the printer fixes this problem.

Synchronous processing of dat file using Adobe Output Server
Hello everyone
I have a doubt regarding Adobe Output Server. Currently my output server is running as a window service named "Adobe Central Output Server" in my machine referring to executable path E:\Jetform\Central\Control\jfservic.exe. It keeps on running irrespective of whether .dat file is present for further processing or not. In case .dat is there in data folder[location where my code writes into .dat file] it picks it up and does all the processing to give the result in form of Print/Fax. But when there is no .dat file present , still the service keeps on running consuming memory & cpu resource.
Curently my code drops a .dat file in data folder and dont bother about what happens to that .dat file afterwards. Its Adobe Output Server service that is running that keeps on monitoring data folder for any new dat file to process them further.
I want to stop that window service permanently and i wish to change some logic in my code so that as and when my program drops a .dat file in Data folder then i invoke Adobe Output Server or some of its component so that it picks up that dat file and does all the processing to generate Print/Fax and once its done with processing , the execution of Adobe central server ends. And it remains dead till its invoked by the program to process a new dat file.
So basically i was wondering whether there is possibiliy of invocation of Adobe Output Server is available or not for synchronous processing of dat file from the code.
Any suggestions , any ideas , any doubts on it are most welcome.
jaYi faced the same thing
1- you have to do something in SAP ( i am looking for someone to tell me what )
2- create a job & name it by (ANYNAME_EMAIL)
3- Inside the Job create the following Tasks
a- SAPMERGER A
b- SAPMERGER
c- SAPEMSEND
that's it / AS Simple AS That
Please tell me if you still facing the same problem -

ChristianDear Pugal
we are not using GLM + and I am not sure about the technqiue used there to handle load balancing. Regarding general WWI setup I assume you know this Note: EH&amp;S: Availability and performance of WWI and Expert servers
On the top there is a further SAP Note abvailable which might be of interest. This is referenced here:
http://de.scribd.com/doc/191576739/011000358700000861002013-e
May be check OSS note: 1958655; OSS Note 1155294 is more related to normal WWI stuff; but may be check it as well. May be 1934253 might help better
May be this might help.
C.B.
PS: may be check as well: consolut - EHS_MD_140_01 - EH&amp;S-Management-Server einrichten
The load balancing of synchron WWi servers is donein the "RFC" layer, therefore you have no inffluence here, for asynchron WWI servers you can do a lot to manage the WWI load balancing by using "exits" etc. -
High number of LWPs for a process
I have a high number of LWPs created for a process (say 70,000) at times .
I would like to know the reason for such high LWP creation and how do i minimize this.
Pls helpLWPs are only created for a process when it requests it (via system calls).
As an administrator, there's not much you can do to modify the behavior of code at that level. You'd need to examine the source to see why that's occuring.
You could limit resources (like memory), but it may not behave well when it hits the resource limit.

HP210a print jobs fail over wireless, but can still print Test Diagnostic page over network
Help! I cannot print over the wireless network anymore. When I try, the print job queues up and I get "Error - Printer" message. I can print the Test Diagnostic page just fine over the network. I can also print fine when connecting via USB port. I have the latest firmware. Any ideas?
Hi HP_210a_user,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP 210a printer and not printing over wireless. HP Print and Scan Doctor.
The HP Print and Scan Doctor will help resolve this issue. I would also restart the printer. Unplug wait 1 min plug back in.
Hope this helps.

Is Job Control required for Full Dataloads in LO Cockpit
Is Job Control required for Full Dataloads in LO Cockpit
Points will assigned for every useful answer.
regards,
AVNEETNo, Job control is required only for delta records
Why?
When you do full update/Initilization of delta, the system directly goes to the setup tables (note that setup tables are filled from applications tables using statistical setup) and gets the data to the data targets. Normally, you go with this option to get all the historical data which is present in the applications tables.
So, when you peformed init, all the historical data till today are moved to the BW system. Now, how are your delta records( records which are created/modified after your init) moved?
It depends on the update option you have selected in the LO cockpit
if you go with Direct Delta : All the delta records are posted directly to the Delta Queue(RSA7). In this case, Job control is not required.
2. If you go with Queue Delta : All the delta records are first posted to Extraction Queue (LBWQ) and from here records are moved to RSA& using Job Control.
3. If you go with Unserialized V3 update : All the delta records are first posted to Update tables (SM13) from there records are moved to RSA7 using again Job control.
So, all the delta records must be moved to RSA7 from where the bw system picks it delta records.
Thanks

From what you describe I am assuming that the you had a BW Process Chain running from CPS and then decided to kill it. This autoamtically created a child job that's supposed to stop the Process Chan in SAP that should have, once complete, updated the parent job from it's 'Killing' status to 'Killed'. Now you find that the BW Process Chain in SAP is/was stopped, the CPS child job has also completed and yet your Process Chain job in CPS still has a 'killing' status. Because it is stuck in this status you cannot do anything with it, i.e. none of the scheduling options in the Redwood Explorer are active.
Assuming the above interpretation is correct then you probably have only one option and that is to force an update in the Repository itself. I also assume you're using either v6.x or v7.x.
To confirm the status of the current job in preparation for the update you can do the following query in the Redwood Shell when logged in as SYSJCS:
select status from rws_job$ where job# = <the job number of the job currently in a 'killing' status>;
This should return 1 row and the value for status should be 'G'.
To update the status you can use the following command from the Redwood Shell when logged in as SYSJCS:
update rws_job$ set status = 'K' where job# = <the job number of the job currently in a 'killing' status>;
To confirm your update was successful before finally committing use the first query again..
select status from rws_job$ where job# = <the job number of the job which previously was in a 'killing' status>;
This should return 1 row and the value for status should be 'K'.
You can now commit the change or rollback if you've made a mistake
commit;
Normally it is not recommended that CPS users modify any of the underlying tables so you may want to check with support that they are ok with you executing this command.
You may also want to check that you have the latest Service Pack for CPS as this may mitigate this kind of issue from appearing again.

Simon
