For bills of exchange receivable, the form number is entered manually in the document reference field in the document header enabling the bill of exchange number in the list of bills of exchange receivable to be displayed. Bills of exchange can be discounted and collected using the SAP standard processes for bills of exchange.
Bills of exchange can be dishonored in two ways.
The first option is to change the status of the bill. Bills of exchange not paid until due date can be identified using the standard report RFWEKR01. The records found can be marked for example with the bill of exchange status key D. The list for dishonored bills of exchange is then able to identify the dishonored BOE and list them. You can create your own bills of exchange status keys in order to distinguish between different types of dishonored bills of exchange. Bills of exchange status keys can be created using the IMG (Financial Accounting ® Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ® Business Transactions ® Bills of Exchange Receivable ® Maintain Bill of Exchange Status).
The second option is to dishonor the bill of exchange using a special general ledger indicator. For example:
39y Bill of Exchange Dishonored
29w Bill of Exchange Receivable
Here, the original bill of exchange receivable is cleared and passed to the reconciliation account for dishonored bills of exchange. The report that creates the list of dishonored bills of exchange offers both alternatives in order to select dishonored bills of exchange.
Bills of exchange received as a guarantee can be posted as a noted item. In the reference document field of these noted items, the bill of exchange number of the bill of exchange form can be entered.
Usage
To post usage of bills of exchange receivable, use the transaction FBWE. Enter the special reconciliation account you assigned to the special general ledger indicator used for posting bills of exchange (e.g. ‘W’). You can further select the bills of exchange to be cleared by bill of exchange number (document reference number), payment methods, document types and so on.
In the bills of exchange list selected, you can display the bill of exchange number by View ® Reference number. It is also possible to sort the entries by bill of exchange number (Sorting ® Reference number).
Allocate the house bank to the bills of exchange to be presented and select the usage type (‘I’ for collection and deposit or ‘D’ for discount).
In the customizing of the Cash management module, G/L accounts must be allocated to the house banks for posting usage (Financial Accounting ® Bank Accounting ® Business Volume ® Cash Balance Management ® Bill of Exchange Presentation ® Maintain Account Determination).
The bill of exchange number is displayed in the presentation log as document number and the clearing documents contain the bill of exchange number in the document reference number field. Execute the batch input session created to post the clearing documents.
The document reference number field can later be used as matching criteria when the bank account statement is posted.

How do I pull up , and print files?

    Hi prettyboyfloyd,
Are you referring to files saved in your Acrobat.com online account? If so, you can log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com, and then select the file that you want to print. Click the Download link at the top of the file list. Once your file has downloaded, you can open and print it.

  • I give up! Can I send someone the ID CS3 file and print file for Help

I have done everything I possibly can (given I am no where near expert), and can not figure this printing out.
I have a food menu that is on 11 x 17 (will be tri fold) ID file with a border. The border is a "Placed" PSD file into a separate ID layer.
Even though it looks perfect on the screen, I can not get it to print properly using an Epson Stylus 1400 series printer (wide body).
The border does not print correctly.
I can (and will if you want), print the menu to a file and send it to someone (along with the ID CS3 file and PSD file) to see if someone can tell me what stupid things I am doing.
I also believe I can print to a file, then bring the printed file up on the screen and do a Snagit Screen Grab to upload to pixentral.com If this is possible, you will see how the border did not print correctly. I would also take a screen grab of the ID CS3 menu file so you can see how the border is perfect.
I am hoping someone with a wide body printer can load 11 x 17 paper and try to see what I am doing wrong. I am printing it on 11 x 17, landscape, centered borderless stock and it looks good in preview mode.
Any and all help would be appreciated. At least I don't have those OOLLM phantom lines like I did on my last plea for help.
    Bob

    Hmmm.
Looking at the last picture, I see what is going to be a bit of a problem for you, I think. Do you really have a thin red line around the outside of the yellow border?
Here's how bleeds work, and why they are set up the way they are. Printing, and more importantly, trimming, is done on mechanical equipment. Paper sizes may or may not be entirely uniform in a stack, or there may be minor alignment issues when jogging the stack, or there may be dust build-up, or any number of other little things that conspire to keep a stack of prints from being 100% perfectly aligned with each other, or a cutter setting may be off by a few thousandths of an inch making the trim larger than intended. In such cases there is a possibility that color intended to run all the way to the edge of the page may in fact stop short of the trimmed edge, leaving the paper showing.
To hide this, and that's all you are doing, hiding misalignments, areas of color at the edge of the page are extended beyond the page boundary, typically 1/8" in the US, so that the excess color will fill what would otherwise be a blank area after trimming. InDesign Allows you to set up a "Bleed Area" in the document setup, which adds a colored guide around the page for easy reference, and also allows you to check the "use Bleed Area" checkbox in the print dialog so you don't need to specify it manually.
Now for why that narrow red line is a problem, if it is really there. Printing presses typically can maintain sheet to sheet registration that is very accurate, but desktop printers are often off by as much as 1/16" in either direction from sheet to sheet. Further, there can be some paper stretching during the printing process, and the aforementioned dust build-up or slight errors in cutter setup, which can cause the paper to be trimmed slightly inside the intended mark. Also consider that if the paper is cut outside the mark on one edge, it will be cut the same distance inside on the opposite side.
So, if you have a thin line on the edge of the page, you need to be very accurate in both sheet-to-sheet registration AND in cutter setup or you risk cutting off the line on one or two edges completely, and leaving more than you planned on the opposite edges. The thinner the border is, the greater the risk of cutting it off, and the more small differences in position will show. (The difference between 1/16 and 1/8 is much more obvious than the difference between 1/16 and 3/8 )
As a corollary, jobs that bleed need to have a safe zone, or "live area" that is smaller than the page dimension by at least the amount of the bleed allowance all around so that trimming at the outside of the bleed on one edge doesn't end up cutting off something important on the opposite edge. The easiest way I can think of to visualize this is to think of trimming as if you were putting an open frame the finished size on top of the print, and you move it around so that the hole exposes more on one edge while hiding the opposite edge the same amount.

  • Logic Pro 8: unable to print score.  saves pdf and print files as blank

    hi guys,
i cannot print my score from logic pro 8. anyone else have this problem? i get nothing but blank pages when trying to print or save as pdf file. also blank in preview. all other programs print fine. i was on the phone with apple tech for an hour and he couldn't solve it. he had me uninstall and reinstall program and still same problem.

It may be that in your page set up (under the file menu) you are not at 100% but some large number like 2,386. This has happened to me and all I got was a blank page.

  • Saving and printing file with try-out Pages

I have created a newsletter and after spending lots of time on it, I realized that I cannot save nor print. I have not purchased Pages nor iwork, so my guess is that this is why I have restrictions. How can I purchase the product online and not loose the work I have done?

    gem,
    Welcome to Apple discussions.
Here's a guess: since Pages gives you the opportunity to test out all of its features for 30 days (after which it becomes merely a "reader"), I'm thinking you must have launched it longer ago than 30 days. If that's the case, you absolutely can't save your document in Pages. It's possible that you can copy and paste everything over to Word -- if you have it -- save it, then after you buy Pages, open the file in Pages. That's the best I can offer.

How did you save them? Did you paste the captures into an image editor and save the image?

  • Adobe Acrobat balks when trying to acquire and print files in Safari, doesn't  happen in Chrome

It works OK when using Chrome, but in Safari the message "Before proceeding, you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the end user agreement" blocks any progress, this is while an older version of Acrobat is running.

Then check to see if there are any updates for it, if there are not then you can try soem basics. Reset the SMC and PRAM, this may take 2--3 attempts each, then restart in Safe Mode to clear some caches. If the problem persists then contact Adobe for support.  To learn how to do each reset please use the following links:

  • Print file activity error

Hey, i'm trying to use a Print File activity in my runbook, but i get error. The message says "Error while printing the file. Syntax error in a file name, folder name or volume label". Just it, nothing i can use for further troubleshooting.
My runbook consists of Generate Random Text, Append Line and Print File activities. Filepath is c:\temp\test.txt.
I would be grateful for any advice, because I couldn't find answer on technet library or anywhere in the internet.

  • Function module to fetch pdf file from App. Server and print/email?

    Hi all,
Is there any function module to fetch a PDF file from APPLICATION SERVER and print the PDF file or send it as an attachment in an email?
    Please help..
    Thanks in advance.
    Sandeep.

    Hi Sandeep,
Is there any function module to fetch a PDF file from APPLICATION SERVER
    1) As far as i know there are no FMs to read a file from App server, you can do the same using *OPEN/READ/CLOSE dataset ABAP statements - There are tons of examples for this on the net.
and print the PDF file or send it as an attachment in an email?
You can send the file read from the app server(by the suggested method above) and use CL_BCS to send it as an attachment.
Again there are many examples on the net on how to use CL_BCS for the same.

  • Best Practises for File Sharing and Print Server on Windows Server 2012

Is it better to have File Sharing and Print Server installed on the same Windows 2012 Server ?
Or, they should be installed on 2 different Windows Servers ?
    Hussien Sherief

It will work just fine to combine them.
But most people would recommend keeping functionality separate... if the budget allows.  That whole "single point of failure" concept.  If that server dies, you've lost both of those functions.
