FCE-4 ingestion set up for material from a Sony TG3E AVCHD camera?

Hi
I have a Sony TG3E PAL AVCHD camera and want to cut my material with FCE4 on my intel macbook pro. How should I set up easy set up to ingest the material? There are 3 record settings I can use on the camera: HD FH (1920 x 1080), HD HQ and HD LP (1440 x 1080 and lowest quality). All are AVCHD.
Do I ingest at:
HD - 25 fps- HDV Apple Intermediate Codec 1080i50 or
HD - 25 fps - AVCHD Apple Intermediate Codec 1440 x 1080i50 or finally
HD -25 fps - AVCHD Apple Intermediate Codec 1920 x 1080i50?
The camera generates 5.1 surround sound but says nothing about what KHz sampling rate the sound is.

In Easy set up I am confused about which format to click.
In the camera manual it says the video compression format is AVCHD HD, recording format AVCHD 1080i50 and video signal PAL.
Now that you have told me I can shoot on 1920X1080 which format should I choose:
apple intermediate codec (my vote) or PAL or HD?
I put 25fps in rate - is that correct?

Whenever I get any error first I try myself whether it takes 2/3 days to get it resolved. Then I go to Google for further search help. Finally I go to SCN.

Search for material from 2 Storage types

Hi,
When creating a delivery for Subcon PO Via ME2O the transfer order is created automatically from the source storage type
657 ( for example). The requirement is that the system should also look for material from source storage type 460 ( for example).
I did the following customization ( SPRO path):
1) Logistics execution -> Warehouse management -> Strategies -> Activate storage type search - > Determine search sequence --
For the combination of Warehouse number & Mvt type 541 ( GI to Subcon delivery) -- 657 and 460 are assigned.
2) Logistics execution -> Warehouse management -> Activities-> Transfers-> Define Mvt types-> For the combination of Warehouse number & Mvt type 541 -- I have assigned source storage type as 657.
With the above the system does the search from 657 stoarge type only and not from the both.
Is there any other setting to meet this requiremnet?

I removed 657 source storage type in the 541 mvt type set up ( Source storage type is Blank) . In the Movement Type set up for 541, "Ref.Stor.Type.Search" field is already with 541.
The Storage Type search sequence is maintained for the combination warehouse number & 541 mvt as 657 and 460 ( storage types).
When Delivery is created for Subcon PO, The Transfer order is not created automatcially ( Only delivery is created)
The requirement in detail is as below:
There are 2 plants ( AL70 & AL77) linked to 1 Warehouse (AL1). When delivery is created for subcon PO in plant AL70, the TO is also created automatically with source storage type as 657 and destination storage type as 916. The additional requirement is when delivery is created for Subcon PO in plant AL77, the TO aslo should be created automatically with source storage type as 460 and destination storage type as 916.

How do I import video from a Sony DSC-HX100V Camera into iPhoto? . . . i can see all the photos but the videos are not visable (I also connected the SD card with a USB Sony SD Card Reader - again only the photos are accessible - no video files are shown) . . .

If you're shooting AVCHD then you'll need to upgrade to iPhoto 11v9.3 to import this material.
A note on AVCHD: This format was developed for people who are shooting to edit the material afterwards. If you're shooting to edit, then iMovie or Final Cut are the correct home for this material. If you're not shooting to edit consider using one of the other video formats on your Camera.

Movies from my sony 7.2mp camera will not import into imovie?

im trying to import my videos from my sony cybershot digital camera into imovie and its mpeg, but further researching this problem imovie is supposed to reformat it automatically. i tried to do an import from "file" and selecting the video but it will not let me select the video, then i tried dragging it from finder into imovie but it just slides right off, THEN i tried to drag it from desktop to imovie and still did not work. if any1 can help me solve this id greatly appreciate it...thanks!

I just had the same problem yesterday trying to import video clips into iMovie from my Sony Cybershot camera and this is what I learned. iMovie evidently does not support every digital camera format. My clips were also mpeg and start with MOV. Evidently, they need to be converted to another format such as .dv; mpg4 or h.264 - the best quality being the .dv, as I understand it. You can do a web search for Video Converter programs that will do this conversion (some are free downloads). I found that I already had a program on my computer called Roxio Toast Titanium that easily converted my clips to .dv by just dragging them into the video pane and then hitting the Export button. Once the clips were converted to .dv, they imported easily and worked perfectly in iMovie. Good Luck!

You would need to update to PSE 12, or just keep using the DNG converter. Your camera requires ACR 8.4, which isn't compatible with PSE 11. It's also not compatible with PSE 12 if you are running Vista or XP.

Itemization for Material from PIR- Display all condition types

Hi,
I have 4 condition types in Purchase info record (PIR), when I do CK11n-Material Cost estimate for this material, in the Cost Component view ->Cost of Goods manufactured->Itemization for Material - I only see one line with total of the 4 condition types in the PIR.
But I would like to see all the 4 lines (Condition Types from PIR) in the Itemization for material. Can I achieve this with any configuration settings?

I think you can do this if you map the purchasing condition types to origin groups. Try doing the following:
1. Use t-code OKZ1 to create the needed origin groups (one for each pricing condition type).
2. Use t-code OKK4 to map the pricing condition types to the origin group. To do this, select the valuation variant you are using and click on the delivery cost button.
3. Also in the valuation variant, change your sub-strategy sequence setting for material valuation to A (Quote price via condition table).
4. In t-code OKTZ you will probably need to assign these origin groups to one or more of your cost component.
Give this a try and see if it works for you.

Setting rquired for material and vendor to purchase excisable goods

I want to know if we create new material and a new vendor, what are the setting needed like in J1ID etc. to purchase that new material from new vendor as a exciseble goods, if all the settings at plant and company code level have been made.

1) maitain excise details in J1ID.
2) maitain master record for excise codnition if ur using TAXINN.

Costing run with values for material from info record.

Hi All
there is requirement with my client, that when i run my costing run the values of the components in BOM should be from the latest purchase order.
For this i am maintined valuation criteria as price from info record and sub strategy as gross price from PO.
When i am create a PO the info record is created automatically in background. So when i run costing run the value is picked correctly.
Now when i create a PO with same material from diff vendor the info record is generated, but on costing run it picks the value from the info record of earlier vendor. For this i go and check the conditions tab in info record, ensure its balnk and save it. Again generate new PO and then run a costing run. This time the system reads the latest info record.
My problem is that i want to ensure that during the costing run, system should read the latest info record w/o manual intervention. System behaviour is not consistent when there is multiple vendor and same material info records. Sometimes it pick up the value and sometimes it refers the old info record.
Can any one help me out in resolving this issue. Its critical.

Generally first info records will be created with vendor, then PO will be created, based on info records price, price will be updated in PO.
If you have more than one vendor for same material, you have to create info records for each vendor. then you need to maintain source list, where you can fix the vendor. If there is no fix vendor, then you can do schedule agreement with vendors, where you have to give proportionate percentages again each vendor.
Now for costing run :
1. if you have only one info record, the price will take from that info record.
2. if you have more than one info record, you need to mantain source list, where you can tick the fixed vendor, then system will take price from that vendor info record.
3. if there is no fixed vendor and you have maintained scehduel agreement with weightage to vendor, then higher percentage vendor info record price will be picked up.
4. if you have more info reocrds, not maintianed source list or schedule agreement, price will be picked up from first info record ( based on info record creation date).
5. if you have a schedule agreement, but you have given equal weightage for example 50% and 50%, then also system will pick up from first info record.
i think it is clear now.

There is no way to set a password for photos. You could upload all of your photos to something like DropBox, then sign out of the app. Or, you could only let people you trust to respect your privacy touch your phone.

Setting JSLink for XSLTListViewWebPart from code behind

I am adding an XSLTListViewWebPart from within a user contol code behind. It adds fine, but I am not able to get it to resolve the JSLink file. The js file works, as I've attached it to a list view web part in the web part properties and it works.
How do I set the JSLink property from the code? I have set it on the view object and on the XsltListViewWebPart, but neither has any effect. This has to be deployable from a wsp, so setting the value from the UI is not an option.

Need material set up for material neither consumed nor replinished

Hi,
We have a requirement that we need to have a material set up for charging labor against sales orders created for after warehouse hours pick up.
So, this material will not be stocked, it is intended to be a virtual part number that is neither consumed or replenished.
Please let me know if you can throw some light on this.

Lately, when I delete e-mails, and clear my Trash folder, they re-appear, downloaded anew from the server and marked as unread. My e-mail Advanced Settings are selected for "Remove from server when moved from Inbox." Even when I access the e-mail accountfrom my desktop and delete the e-mails, the re-appear on my iPad. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and what I can do to actually delete them?

Sounds like you are looking in the wrong Administrative Group container which is why you are seeing your Exchange 2010 servers in there.
When you install Exchange 2003 only you will see a container named by default as "CN=First Administrative Group" container. But this could be named anything if you changed the Organization Name on the installation when you installed the first
Exchange 2003 server into the domain/forest.
You will notice that when you install Exchange 2010 part of the AD setup is to create a new configuration container and is named by default "CN=First Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)".
So it sounds like you are not looking in the right location within ADSIEdit.
