FCP Studio 2 Workflow Xposed: moving information around the studio!

Question

inside Final Cut Studio 2 there are 6 different apps for each step of creating the content.
1- FCP
2- Motion 3
3- Soundtrack
4- Color
5- Compressor
6- DVD Studio
my question:
1- how do i move between between those apps
and
2- what is the recommended order of these 6 steps for an easier and smoother filmmaking process.

Moving between the apps depends on which app, and what you mean by "moving"; for example, you can make a title in Motion and drag that project file directly into FCP, or you can tell FCP to "send" a clip to Motion and work with it there. At the same time, some processes may require you to export to a self-contained file to bring it into another app. It all depends on what you're doing, but overall, FCS integration is relatively tight.
Your second question is, again, dependent on your personal workflow, and your intended output. A conventional path might be
1) FCP
2) Motion
3) Soundtrack
4) Color
5) Compressor/DVD SP
Bear in mind that you may find not all of these apps are even necessary for your particular work; FCP's built in color tools may suit you just fine, thereby eliminating the need for Color. Also, if your output is anything other than DVD, you won't need DVD SP; conversely, you may not need Compressor if you plan to go exclusively to DVD.
Again, all of this is dependent on your personal workflow.
