I don't know why this just started to happen unless v3.0 were somehow moved from its location.
I once had FCP7 get confused between Motion 4 and Motion 5 when I failed to follow Apple's installation recommendations but never a problem with FCPX going to the wrong app. (But I don't use the Send to Compressor workflow.)
When you have the legacy apps already installed on your system, the new pro app download moves the old ones into a folder, named Final Cut Studio. That's what I was getting at when I suggested you create a new folder for C3.

In Adobe Send, I have sent files several times now and when the recipient clicks the link to open, it says page cannot be found. This just started happening. What needs to be corrected?
I can think of a couple of reasons for this behavior.
You inadvertently turned off the sharing for the files.
The link that the user is clicking on is incomplete; perhaps it got broken across lines in an email message. Are you sending Anonymous Links or Personalized Invitations? If the former, are you certain that you copied the entire link?
Some things to try.
Have the user send the link back to you so that you can test it. Does it work for you?
If you look at your Sent Files list, is the name in the Sent To column struck through (e.g., John Smith)? That would indicate that it has been unshared.
If you could get back to me with answers, perhaps we can get to the bottom of this. -
This just started happening.. I open Itunes and the little round rainbow loading indicator just goes on and doesnt stop.. My itunes wont function.. It gets stuck. Then i have to force quit.. I tried to shut down and restart. also reloaded the latest itune 11.1.3 and it still gets stuck.
i use an external HD and thats fine.. all files are in there. But I have no idea why my itunes app is getting stuck.
Am I the only person this is happening to? What can I do to correct this problem?Hi marlonbnyc!

When I try to open a file in photoshop CS, Elements or Lightroom I get the message "Could not complete request because it is not the right kind of document" This just started happening today. The only thing I have done differently is change my file handling to raw + jpeg on my Nikon 7100.
I downloaded camera raw 8.7 and I am now able to open my raw and jpeg files. Thanks

Ok i have indesign CS6 and all files are stored on a 10.7.5 MAC server. This just started happening. When I open a file indesigns is creating a textfile in the same folder? I need some help on this.
Ask in the ID forum and be much more specific about your configuration. there could be any number of reasons why manifests, temp files or restore files are created.

When I type my email address in the "To:" field, a random name comes up next to it as "Holidays in United States". This just started happening out of the blue and I have no idea why. Does anyone else have any idea?
Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Which "new version"? Websites think you are using Firefox 3.0.19, which is no longer supported. Maybe your User Agent is "stuck" on that old version?

When I try to use the sift key to capitalize a letter if makes a sift type noise. If I hold it down too long it makes the sift noise 3 times and then it doesn't capitalize but leaves the letter in lower form, ex: i instead of I. When I start firefox, it used to send me directly to my home page, now I have to login and enter password everytime, even when checking box to leave me logged in. Also, its not rememberin ids and passwords for my bookmarked sites.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

I am not sophisticated at understanding computer language. What I know is that 3 things have happened in the last 2 weeks.
1.My yahoo account which I go to from Mozilla firefox 4.0.1 now requires me to click on a link that says it disables updates. Then my homepage seems to be ok/normal except:
2.One of the email links tries to open a site called Ok Cupid and that site is really distorted and unreadable
3. another website www.texastrails.org has a tab called 'docs' which can be reached from "member portal". There should be documents in Word and adobe reader on the left side of the screen which can be opened normally. These do not exist now and the texas trails webmaster says it has to do with Java Script. (it does open in Internet Explorer)
Why would these two sites open in IE but not firefox?
Note that I went to "My Computer" and found I have environment 5.0 Java6 update 24 and J2SE Runtime environment 5.0update 6 on different lines. I have no clue what these mean:-)
I also click on Firefox "tools" and see that java is checked/enabled.This is not an answer. I have the same problem, what gives? None of the "solutions" have worked. The only thing left I haven't tried is resetting my IP an disabling my routers firewall, which is dangerous. Guess I might just keep on using IE instead, sure it's annoying, but hey it works.

For some reason pictures that have been included in emails as part of the email are no longer there. This seems to have happened after my last update of firefox. If I forward the email to another web browser on my computer the picture is then visible as part of the email. The pictures I am talking about are not ones attached for me to open but ones that are included as part of the email.

I have all of my songs on an external hard drive. It was working fine with iTunes; now when I click on a song, I get an error message that the song cannot be located. What happended and more importantly, how can I fix this?
Is this an iPad issue? Not sure where you are "clicking" or how you are accessing. A little more info would help.
