FCP X changes title font style from regular to italics

I use a regular font style in the titles of my iMovie 11 projects, but when importing to FCP X, the titles are converted to italics. But there is at least one exception: rolling credits don't get changed.
Mac OS X 10.6.8, MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM

Almost a fantastic post. I'm in your boat here.. but... there are some people can make a living with what FCPX offers.
You can still be a professional without needing the features that most of us broadcast/film professionals need.
FCPX is a fantastic program for some people... for others a stab in the back.
Whereas FCP7 worked for everyone - we had the choice. Now we don't.

How to change header font style in Spark DataGrid?

I'm looking since last week for a way how to change the font style of the header in a Spark DataGrid. It drive me nuts that I can't find a way to do this. Have anyone one an idea how to achieve it? Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
Some styles won't work because some text styles got hardcoded into the DefaultGridHeaderRenderer's Label. You'll run into this issue not just with the DataGrid headers but also things like the Panel's title and other places where we have text. One way to get around this issue is to create your own custom headerRenderer based on the default one and then redefine the headerRenderer skin part in the skin.
First, create a subclass of the DefaultGridHeaderRenderer and tweak the "labelDisplay" to your liking (or even just take out all the styles and style it on your own as you had earlier using your custom header renderer's name). Example below (I named it "CustomHeaderRenderer"):

Next, create a simple DataGrid skin by creating a subclass of the spark.skins.spark.DataGridSkin in MXML and defining a new headerRenderer component in the fx:Declarations section. Example below (I named it "CustomDataGridSkin"):

I know it's not pretty, but it's the result of trading off between having completely custom skinning vs. having knobs to tweak every style. Hope this helps.

How to copy a Specific Font Style from one instance to another?

I am using RoboHelp HTML V.7.
I need to change multiple instances of one style to another. Is there a way to assign a specific font style from one instance of the style to another location (like MS Word style painter), or add the specific style to a shortcut key, or add the specific style the toolbar, or any other suggestions which may expedite my plight?

Identify the "class=MyStyle" string in the MTML code, and use the Multi-File Find and Replace feature to step through each topic and change the specific instances to "class=MyOtherStyle." (I doubt that you'll want to "Replace All".)

You almost certainly do not; Acrobat is not a word processor. Font styles, when they can be changed at all, are often a different font (bold, italic) or separate graphics (underline).
Where do you want to change them? There are an amazing number of places in Acrobat to enter text.

Is it possible to change the font style and size of the front panel title?

Can you change the style and size of the Front Panel Window title? I seem to have no luck. I seem to be stuck with only 1 font/style. I would like to use a superscript for 1 of the letters in the title. Is this possible? If it isn't this would be a nice feature to have in the future. I am using LabVIEW 8.5.1.

Things like the window title font is a function of Windows - not LV. You can change it globally, but not on a window by window basis.

IPhone email-need to change the font style, not just the size

My emails are showing in Black Arial, when I just want them to display in normal Arial font. I do not see where I can change the Font setting other than the size of it, I had it on Large but now have it on Small. On the iPhone the font appears in a regular size and not bolded except for the To and Subject lines. But when I look at an email I sent from my iPhone Outlook on my laptop, the whole email's font is darker (not All Caps, just darker), as if the letters are in bold font, but Black Arial versus Arial looks that way, but all my other emails in Outlook are in regular Arial so I would like them to be consistent.
I called Apple support and they had me re-set my mail settings and re-create my email profile, but it still did not help.

The iPhone does not support composing email in RTF or HTML, so the font type, size, or style cannot be changed. The iPhone's Mail client supports composing email in Plain Text only.
When composing email in RTF or HTML, the sender controls the formatting, which may not be displayed the same or identical with the recipient's email client depending on the email client used.
When composing email in Plain Text, the recipient controls the formatting.

I am able to dispaly the content of a .txt file on the screen using inline frames(11g webcenter application using content repository- file system) . But 'm able to add styles to it like displaying it in bold letters. Any help on how to add templates

The font size is defined by the style class used for the tab cells (tabs are normally created as cells in a table).
To do this, the simplest solution may be to edit the page template:
1 - Go to Shared Components/Templates
2 - Select the page template(s) that you are using (you will have to do this for each template that you've used that uses tabs)
3 - Scroll down to "Standard Tab Attributes" - you'll see two sections: Current Tab and Non Current Standard Tab.
In Current Tab, you'll have something like:

In Non Current Standard Tab, you'll have something like:
<a href="#TAB_LINK#" class="t12standardtabnoncurrent">#TAB_LABEL#</a>
After the class="...." attribute add in style="font-size:12px" (use whatever px value you want)
4 - You should repeat the process for Current Parent Tab and Non Current Parent Tab as these contain the same settings
5 - Apply your changes

How to customize titles (font style, color, size)

I am inserting subtitles, but imovie does not seem to be flexible when it comes to changing font size and color. For instance, one title is in 58 pt font size and the next one has more words in it, so it defaults to 27 pt font size. Is this the case with all fonts? Some fonts seem easier to change characteristics.

Hi,
You haven't mentioned which UI elememt you are using to display the user name. For textView you can use the design property and set the value as standard.
