FCP X Stabilization Box Not Always Available??

I'm not always getting the option to add Stabilization to a clip. It seems to be related to multiclip, but I could be wrong.
Lifting a clip from the storyline doesn't appear to help.
I *need* stabilization for some of these clips! Any help greatly appreciated.

It happens when you remove the audio from clip you had imported.
Well at least that happened to me.
I recorded clips using 5D2, 5D3 and a 1DX with native mic, Rode Mic and a H4N.
Native mic, I replaced the audio with H4N's. Upon doing this, I realised, stablization option is gone.
Pretty sure this is a bug.. Even detaching the audio, bring the volume down, the stablization option goes missing as well.
If I were to stablise the clip BEFORE taking original audio away and use a different source, background task simply hangs at 0%. Had to quit the application and it will prompt/warn me that background task will also quit.
This is however, solved by simpling reducing the volume of clip imported (blue) without detaching audio from clip). So that channel is silent and my new imported audio (from my H4N, green) is dubbed over my clip.
Works like a charm. I think I complicated things myself when I detach the audio (which iswas my workflow!).

    It sounds as though your phone message may not be properly registered with iMessage.
    Go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage OFF, then turn it back on again.
    Make sure the message "iMessages can be sent between iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch" appears.

    i'm building a website for a school project with muse cc. I try to build a full width website. The problem is that sometimes the full width option, the small button on the right top, is not always clickable. i tried to fix the things ( like widgets ) on the sides but this doesn't work either. Please help me with this problem i need to graduate.

    Add a empty rectangle to your website, now it should be clickable. press it.
    Secondly, at the top of the page you choose fill > choose an image

  • Design view not always available?

    I have a some sites in Dreamweaver CC 2014 but none of them are created in this version, they are created mostly in CS6. But when I open them in CC 2014, some of them seem to have the "design view" available, but som of them not. And I cannot understand why. Anyone having a clue? This is quite annoying since I want the design view....

    The new Live View on CC 2014.1 64 bit works faster than Design view did in CC 2014, however, pages take twice as long to open/load on my Win 7 machine.
    Also, if the settings are wrong, it is WAY too easy to delete content.
    Example:  With Split view "Code and Live" (No Design option for PHP pages) it will let m scroll in either Code or Live.  If I click content in Live view I can't edit there.  If I then click into Code view the entire Body highlights. If I scroll back down to the content I wish to edit and click a blank section of the code (outside of any tags) the entire body is again highlighted and cursor it at the top of this content.
    More than once, out of habit, I have scrolled down to a content section, typed a letter and a whole block of content has been replaced with my new letter.
    I am convinced this has to do with the new settings and my combinations are not right, but I can't find a combination I like (Can edit either live page or code AND see Fluid Grid background)
    Today, I do prefer the previous Code and Design view for my PHP pages

  • The back and forward browser buttons are NOT ALWAYS available to use, so once I open a web-site I can not go back to what I was looking at previously. This has only started happening recently?

    The back and forward browser button always works when we first get online, and then over some time it will not work and then will work again (working again is happening less). I have re-started the computer many times to fix the issue.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Lens Profiles created from DNG not always available

    I have created a series of lens profiles for a couple of cameras based on RAW files which were then converted to DNG for the Profile Creator.
    They have been placed where the canned profiles are found, all well and good.   However I notice that in LR3 my custom profiles are not seen when a jpg file is involved although they are available for RAW files.    Strangely both files types have the profiles available under CS5 when either jpg or raw is involved.  Is this normal, or do I have to create fresh set of Profiles created from jpg's, in order to have full functionality in LR3?

    The profile used for JPEG, TIFF, etc must be created from rendered images, not the raws. So, yes you need to convert the raws to JPEG or TIFF then run them through the creator application.
    Lens profiles for raw images will have "(raw)" at end of profile name. The word "raw" will be absent from those created from rendered images.
    CS5 allows you to download both types of lens profile, but they are separate profiles. Camera Raw and Lr3 will only allow you to use profiles ending "(raw)" with raw files whereas the CS5 Lens Correction plug-in erroneously, in my opinion, allows you to use both.

  • IOS devices not always available on WiFi

    Hi and tnxs for reading.
    In both my houses, with 2 different wifi routers, it often happens that my iTunes cannot see on WiFi my iPhone and iPad, even if these are connected to the same wifi aswell. i am talking about Mountain Lion with last iTunes version, and iOS devices with iOS6.
    Sometimes it is enough to switch iOS devices off and on or router off then on but the thing is not so standard.
    Any idea of the issue?
    I am wondering, if I use an airport extreeme or time capsule or airport express instead of a standard router (I have US robotics and fastweb) do you think it will be working better?

    Answering myself to help future readers  Basically, connecting the receiver to a wired Ethernet connection solved everything...Do not use WiFi if you want to stream stuff (or perhaps only if you have an open AV Cabinet with perfect signal strength...). Moving to a wired Ethernet connection I can now: - Start Google Cast irrespective of the state of the amp, the target appears on my phone. It automatically switches to the Receiver App display I had to start before.- Spotify Connect is available and also automatically switches input and works great. So all good!

  • Copy Paste Not Always Available

    So how how do you copy paste from (say) one e-mail to another e-mail?  I can copy the desired text, but when I navigate to a new e-mail (or Docs to Go) once I place my cursor I can not find the ability (icon) to paste.  I would love a keyboard shortcut if one existed.

    After reading a LOT of the replies here and some more experimentation I have solutions for the problem when trying to paste into an e-mail and Documents to Go:
    For e-mails - WORK AROUND - write some text in the new e-mail and THEN press and hold the cursor and the paste icon will appear. I could not get the paste icon to appear until there was some existing text in the body of the e-mail.
    For Documents to Go: As documented elsewhere, position the icon and HOLD down for two seconds and then the paste icon will appear.

  • Endeca Server performance issue: dgraph is slow and not always available

    Hi, I'm experiencing a problem with Endeca Server. It's very slow and the dgraph process takes about 97% of the cpu without doing queries.
    When I try to open the Studio Page, the cpu utilization of the dgraph process increases up to 200%, and if I try to launch a simple query from Integrator the result is:

    Your issue is completely different. You are running Snow Leopard. There is no download for Windows Support software for Snow Leopard, hence the error you see. Snow Leopard Windows Support software is on the Snow Leopard installation disk.
    You need the Snow Leopard installation disk or a replacement for it.

    Why am I getting messages such as "The command Image Size is not currently available whenever I try to run an Action that uses the particular command (and which has always worked fine previously) and when the particular command works fine when used on its own?

    I would think that image size would always be available when there is an active document in Photoshop.  The only time I remember seeing messages like that where they should work was during the five month period when Adobe released CS6 with so many bugs which took Adobe five months to fix.  During those five month messages like that that should not have happen were common when action switch between documents.  Adobe would start processing the next Action step before the document switch completed, Any step that required an active document could fail with a mess stating the command is not available.
    Are you by some chance using CS6 version 13.0 CS6 without any updates.  Use Photoshop menu Help>About Photoshop.  If it shows CS6 version 13.0 you need to update CS6. .

  • "Always Available off line" menu item not available for user on computer where another does see it. This is on Active Directory Computer

    I have a lap top that I want to add files via Always available off line.
    When I logon and right click on a folder share I can see the menu item all was available offline.  When the user logs on this option is not available.  I have turned the feature on and off, rebooted, I have deleted the cache folder but I cannot
    see how to get this menu item to show up.  It's odd that it shows up for one user but not another on the same computer.  I have searched the web and tried the above things and others but cannot seem to resolve this problem.  It seems pretty
    common and their. This computer is on a domain.

    So as we edited the group policy settings in the default domain policy, the menu item is now available?
    And as we are in a domain environment and the settings is configured under the default domain policy, how the domain users behave different from each other? Which someone could see and the other not？
    Could we please generate a
    GPO report to take a check?

    Using Photoshop CS6 and after printing approx. 10 cards on an Epson R3000 printer the program gives me a dialog box saying "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents."  Even after closing and reopening the program, the print command is greyed out so I cannot select any printer. This also happens with a Brother laser printer. Both printers will produce a test page out side of the Adobe product. Help!

    I cannot get any help either.  I get the message "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents."  I have reinstalled all drivers, powered off/on all printers (2 of them - a Brother HL - 4040cn and an Epson Stylus Pro 7890 - which all worked fine until this morning).  There appears to be no path to a solution.  I have read all the forums and tried about 20 different suggestions all to no avail.  Reboots, changing cables, reinstalling printers and drivers and Photoshop CS6 - ALL TO NO AVAIL.  On a macbook pro retina with 10.10.3.  This issue is out there and some get solutions - but not all - that's my crowd...the not all crowd.  I have yet to be able to print from CS6 any more.  This is a show stopper and my patience is wearing thin.  And I'm tired of stupid questions like "is your printer powered on?" give me a break.  This appears to be an adobe photoshop cs6 problem - as I can print from every other application.  Anyone have any ideas?  Adobe should have something?...   • Render previews seems to not always update all modified photos

    Here's what I do:
    I use a tower and a laptop. On my tower I have all the original photos available for Lr, on the laptop not. I keep all of my photos in a single catalog, and when I'm not at home I use the catalog on an external harddrive. So I would like all of my previews being up-to-date. Therefore I start the Lr catalog from my external harddrive while it is connected to my tower (hence having access to all originals) and choose to render the standard previews from all folders where I did modifications. Then when I use Lr on my laptop, every now and then I still find some pictures with no updated preview (gray box instead of thumb and preview picture). I guess that these were pictures that I modified on my tower in develop mode without going back to library grid or loupe mode.
    Could it be that (sometimes) the standard previews are not always being updated immediately when I modify a picture in develop mode? So that Lr sometimes  "thinks" that the previews are still up-to-date even though they aren't?

    The ACR cache should set itself (update) as you work with the files. I suspect however if you work on a machine where the cache files reside, but have the other data on a separate drive, on a separate machine, this *may* be why they don’t appear to update. If you save them to the external driver all the time, just move it from machine to machine, or back up (clone) this as well as the lrdata, catalog, and images, the updates will travel with you.
