Fcpx export doesn't take the whole edit.

Hello,
I got a issue here. I edited my whole video in fcpx and when i playback in timeline it shows the whole movie. But when i want to export it just takes the beginning and the end of all the clips and not the whole movie. Why is this so hard to do? And when i click export and then you can see a little review box, there i also see only part op the video.
Someone pls help.. Dont know

Thanks for the quick response. So you are telling i am editing in a synchronized clip? That isn't possible? I have no clue. I created tis clip because i heve external audio for my video. So if i am correct, i can't edit anything in a synchronized clip? The only thing i see is that the beginning of the timeline, the background of the timeline is diagonal striped. And halfway it stops. These are the precize sports where the video begins as i export.

My question is, Is there any method to get the rendering Projects file saved into an external hard drive which is connected with USB/ Thunderbolt/ Firewire, with huge disk space (eg. 500GB HDD).
Now, new project created in my Mac is automatically saved in (User/Movies/Final Cut Projects) and my Mac has ran out of space to hold the files.

You have at least 3 different ways to show the project library:
1) Go to WIndow->Show Project Library
2) Click the button in bottom left of your window:
3) Hit the keyboard shortcut (Command-0)
The project library will be shown, occupying the area where the timeline usually is.
Your hard disks will be visible. Click the hard disk where you want the new project to reside and hit Cmd-N to create a new project.

My iPhone 3GS doesn't take the charge and reboots all the time

to a computer (Mac or PC) or to a socket it doesn't take the charge ...
sometimes it seems to take the charge (volt icon appears)
but then it boots again and again and i'm stuck into that cycle ..

How old is the battery?
I'm not an expert, but I think Li-ion batteries are better at delivering a steady voltage, even at low charge levels (minimizing the 'memory effect'), but once they go bad they drop off a cliff. At least, that's what I've heard.

File Print on the list item doesn't print the whole content in IE8

Hi,
I have this issue happened on my customer side. Their IE version is 8.0.7600.16385.
By using this version of IE to do a file > print of a list item with long html content, the html content will get chop off. Refer to the screenshots.

If file > print is done in higher IE version, it can be printed out nicely.
Is there a way to fix this issue as customer side may not able to upgrade to the higher IE version? e.g. CSS

Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the print function of IE8 doesnot print the whole content of SharePoint list item.
For troubleshooting your issue, please turn off Protection Mode for the IE8.

Acrobat doesn't take the creative suite 4 serial number. so how do i move past the trial version

I have been on the phone for hours
tried uninstalling/installing four times
tried the clean up tool.
i can't get past the trial version of acrobat 9 pro,
altho i had no problem with it on my previous computer.

Despite all the times and ways I've uninstalled it,
I keep having acrobat 9 as a trial version.
It asks for a serial number, but doesn't accept the serial number
I have, which is for the whole suite.
When I put the serial number for CS4 in, it puts a red X
by the number...and says that it is not valid.
It worked fine on my previous computer.
I see that others have had this problem.
However, I have not been able to resolve it.

Web form doesn't fill the whole screen

I have forms (version 6i) running on the intranet. When I run these as client/server the forms fill the whole of the physical screen; but when in the brower, the forms leave a 2 inch border on the right hand side. I want the forms to occupy the whole of the browser window, but cannot seem to be able to do this. I've tried maximizing the MDI and the form windows etc etc, but still no luck. Anyone have any advice?

Hi,
When displaying forms in web,
the size of the form that is shown in browser is based on the height and width that you specified in you html file.
The html file in this case means the one that holds your forms java applets.
eg. width=800 height=600
View source the html file when you run the forms in web.(right click to view source from the 2 inches area) and check what's your height and width.

ITunes doesn't display the whole line

Most of my iTunes looks like this:
I have plenty of space on the screen, but can't see the whole line. Anyone know how to fix it.

You signature shows you have Mac OS X 10.7.4.
If you do not have an Info tab in iTunes, you have Mac OS X 10.9.
You sync Contacts & Calendars using iCloud, not iTunes.

Why SQLPLUS Banner doesn't reveal the exact Edition of DB software Install?

SQLPLUS Banner or any view in Oracle database reveals the exact edition of Database software installed, it would be easy to identify the installation.
Always one has to depend of OUI logs to identify the installation type.
Enterprise Edition install is revealed by Sqlplus banner.
Standard Edition install is revealed by Sqlplus banner.
But other installs, Standard Edition One is not revealed by sqlplus banner or any other view in database.
If by chance OUI logs are deleted or overwritten, no other means find the installation type.
Isn't it easy for Oracle Customer, if this information is stored in any view of Database or file of Oracle Software....!

The OUI Inventory logs has the information about the installation type of the database software installed.
In Linux / Unix -
$ORACLE_BASE/oraInventory/logs/installActions<timestamp>.log
In Windows -
Central Inventory\logs\installActions<timestamp>.log
Central Inventory location will be given by Registry Key Value : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\inst_loc.
The following lines gives the information about installation type -
- Install method : Typical installation
- Database edition : Standard Edition One (Install database software only)

There's a glitch with the wallpaper scaling. It seems to have an issue with any black space and zooms the pic in to fill the whole screen, so your pic can be cut off by quite a bit.
If you go in through the photos app and send the images to be wallpaper from there you do have a bit more control over the scaling.

BufferedReader doesn't read the whole file.

Looks fine to me (assuming that that's a valid file name and it's at least reading some of the file).
There must be something else going on--maybe whatever's writing the file hasn't finished, or maybe there are control characters in there that are messing up the display on your DOS prompt window.

Cloud dvr doesn't record the whole show

New to cloud dvr.It records, downloads the show.One hour show records for one hour. But when i play the show first 54 minutes are fine, then it skips5 minutes and then it plays last minute. The last 5 minutes are empty. Very irritating with shows like sherlock Holmes. Help

I think I understand his problem because I believe I am having a similar problem. I have 3 x1 dvr boxes with cloud services. Ever since getting the "whole home update" introduced in version 1.47.04.c I've been getting recordings that end prior to their actual scheduled end time. This only seems to happen with longer recordings, such as football games, etc. USUALLY but not always when I extend a live show recording. One hour recordings seem to work fine. Example... I set Sunday night game to start at 8:15pm and end at 11:30pm as per the guide. I then extended the recording for one hour which makes the end time 12:30am. What I wound up with is a recording that ended at 9:45pm. The dvr knows it should have been a four hour forty five minute recording because the progress bar says it. Problem is most of the progress bar is gray and only a small portion is blue, indicating the recorded content. The recording ends and asks if I want to delete it when it gets to the end of the blue portion of the progress bar. This is not an example of a continuation due to a power outage. I actually physically watched the dvr which appeared to record until 12:45am. Once the recording ended, then the back end of the recording dropped off. This situation occurs on many of my football or movie recordings, that are over an hour or so. This happens frequently although it appears to be random as to when it happens and how much of the recording it cuts short. Since I can't tell where the recording is located, I can't determine if the problem is with one box or multiple boxes. Boxes have been exchanged anyway so it appears to be a software bug as opposed to a hardware issue, unless the problem is at the account level. I've been calling Comcast about this since mid October. I have had multiple tech visits as well as many missed tech appointments. I've spent a ton of time on the phone with customer service. Nobody seems to be able to resolve the issue. Techs tell me signal level is good. We already have a booster, no moca filters. Btw, I'm a programmer and I write code for Cisco so I know a little about how a dvr works on a technical level. I'm pretty much at the end of my patience with Comcast as I've been dealing with and paying for 3 dvrs that do not record reliably. As a programmer I understand there is no such thing as bug free software but this is just crazy. Any ideas?

Result file take the whole path of file

I am using Java Mail, and it is working fine. I have a problem though, when I open the attachment, it contains the file path.
For example, the attachments should be Result.zip, and then I should get the files if I unzip them. On the contrary, I am getting the folder as a an attachment, that I have to be clicked number of times to get to result.zip.
As you can see in the code, it starts with the directory/application server/application name/and then the resultant files.
How can I get rid of the path from the resultant files, thanks.

My problem is still there. Now the resulting files are encapsulated in a folder name called "Result.zip", and followed by JBoss - jboss-4.0.5.GA - bin - Fastran - and so on till I get my original files.
I want to get rid of this long path to get to my files.
Can you suggest something ?

Spotlight takes the whole of the centre screen. Can it be moved

Hate the way spotlight opens in the centre of the screen and cannot be moved.
Am I missing a trick to this.
I find its location really annoying. Like macular degeneration cos its right in the centre of your visual axis.
Also is there a way of doing simple calculations in the top right magnifying glass icon without using ons desktop?

Spotlight window cannot be moved from the center.
You can do the calculations the same way as we are used to.
You can add calculator widget to the Notification center.
Launch Notification center from the menu bar, the right most 3bar icon in the menu bar.
Select "Today" view. Click the "Edit" button at the bottom of the pane.
A new pane with Calculator and World Clock will appear.
Click the black + on green button next to the calculator.
If you want remove the calculator from the widgets, click black "- " on red button beside "Calculator".

IPod doesn't play the whole song

I have a couple of songs that are about 5.5 minutes long. However, whenever I play them on my iPod the songs always end at 5 minutes. I don't have this problem when I play the song on iTunes. The songs were not ripped from a CD, but are mp3 files. Is there any way to fix this?
By the way, I have a 4th generation iPod if that matters.

I maybe can answer.
One reason can be if you didn't update you iPod correctly, that happend to me.
And the other reason can be that you didn't convert your CD's correctly, that have happend me too.
That's what i know, try to update iPod again, if that doesn't work. Then erase your songs from the list and import then again.
It worked for me.
