FD33 Sales value

Hello,
Could someone tell me how the open deliveries, open billing documents and open orders value get updated in FD33. (Extras -> Sales value). I am trying to find out when a sales order gets included in open delivery, when it comes under open billing document and when under open order.
The update group I have set is 000015. (IMG: Enterprise strcture -> Definition -> Financial accounting -> Define Credit Control Area)
Any relevant information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rugmani

Dear Rugmani,
Answers as following:
1. Before a delivery is created for a sales order, the delivery status in VBUP is 'A' (Not processed). Is this case included under 'Open deliveries' in FD33?
Ans.: This case in not included in Open deliveries. It is
         included in open Sales order.
2. After the delivery has been saved &/or processed, the status in VBUP changes to 'C' (Completely processed). Is this also included in 'Open deliveries'? If not, does it get included in 'Open bill. documents'?
Ans.: This case in not included in Open Bil. Doc.
3. I assume that once billing is done, the value gets included under 'Receivables' in FD33. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Ans.: Yes once the bill is done & posted  the value gets updated in Receivables .
4. When we talk about 'WIP - Work in Progress', do we include open sales orders(with no delivery created for them), open deliveries and open bill. documents?
5. Last question, when does the delivery have the following statuses: ' ' (Not relevant) and 'B' (Partially processed)?
Mr. Rugmani  i wish to suggest you one thing. This will definitely help to solve all your queries.
Create new customer in Dev. Make setting for that in FD31 as credit limit -- 0 & credit exposure -- 0 (Since the customer is new he will be having credit exp 0)
Strat from Order creation, delivery creation & go till billing. If possible try & post payment through f.28. During this all stages check fd33.
I hope this will help u.
Still if u have any problem do write.
Thanks & regards,
(Reward if Helpfull)

  • FD33 - Sales Value negative

    Hi,
I need some help in FD33 trx - customer credit status.
The Sales Value is coming negative. Generally it means the value , confirmed in the sales order or delivery but not billed. The value generally comes positive
But, in which scenario, it comes negative?
    Need your guidance.
    Thanks,
    snehasish

    hello, friend.
well, first of all, you may have credit memo requests and sales returns that when totaled, would exceed your open sales orders, open deliveries and open billings.
also, this might happen when you make changes in credit management related organizational settings (e.g. risk category, credit representative groups).  do check if this indeed happened, and if yes then you have to do credit reorganization using F.28.
    regards.

  • FD33 - SALES VALUE - Field name SAUFT

    Hi,
SAP defines the sales value (FIELD: SAUFT) as "the total of all order values which have not been transfered to FI, but which are taken into consideration when checking the credit limit."
I have a situation here, whereby a customers credit Limit has been reset due to a SAP generated sales value. For example:
The customer has a credit limit of 5000$, has used up 2000$ and should have 3000$ worth purchasing for, but in FD33 i see a value in the sales value field of 1700$, reducing the available credit amount to only 1300$.
    - Via which transactions could i see how the Sales Value is summed up?
(Consider that the customer has a long history and has placed hundreds of orders)
    -  Via what transaction could i see all orders which have not been transfered to FI
       apart from VFX3 ?
I would be greatful if i got some answers.
    Cheers!

    Hi
in FD33 credit exposure will calculate as follows
Credit Exposure=Receivable- Spl Libility+Sales Order value
here receivibles means material which are billed and passed to accounting
Spl Libility is any Advances lying with us
Sales order value is Open Order valure ( order raised but not delivered)+ Open delivery value ( Delivered but not billed)  + Open billing value (Billed but not passed to accounting)
might be in your case some sales order value is pending pls check

  • How to reorganise the sales value in FD33 tcode

    Hi gurus,
I had a customer whose credit limit is "1" rupee, in general process when we raise a sales order for him get the proforma invoice and send to him and then he pays for that then only we deliver and invoice him, but now system allows him to raise a sales order with one lack also, i analysed the problem and I had find that some negative valve is triggring in "sales value" field in FD33 tcode, i had executed the report RVKRED88 and got the list of slaes documents for that comprising wrong values, but i stuck up at this point how to reorganise them i.e., bringing back the vale of "sales value " to 0 rupees. if anyone worked in this scenario help me .
    thanks in advance.
    regards,
    kishore.

    hello, friend.
we had a similar situation here, so i can say i understand your situation a little bit.  am i correct in saying the reason why sales orders can be created without being blocked is because the customer's sales exposure is negative (meaning you owe the customer)?
what we did here is add another restriction by putting maximum document value at 0.01 (also try zero value) so that any order raised is blocked.
it's also possible to use billing plan where a downpayment must be paid by the customer, but the configuration for this set up is more complicated and may be impractical.
you can also clear the negative sales values in FI but let's hear what the FI guys have to say about this (audit issues).
i am sure someone out there has a much better idea, but that's the only thing i can think of right now.  if i find a better solution, i will post it here.
    regards.

  • Credit Horizon Date and Sales Value in FD33

    Hello,
I currently have the credit horizon for a certain risk category set to look at orders 7 days out in OVA8.  The sales value in FD33 reflects open orders for the 7 days out, but is also adding 100% of a specific order type (dropship orders) regardless of the 7 day setting in OVA8 and is overstating the total credit exposure.  I am wondering, what is the specific date field on the order that this "Credit horizon date" is referencing to do the 7 day calculation?  My thought is that there is something different about this specific order type that the 7 day horizon is not seeing.
    Appreciate the help.
    Kevin Schuller

    Hello Kevin Schuller,
I am also facing the same issue, can you please explain me how you closed this issue?
    Your query is highly appreciated,

  • Sales value in FD33 is not matching with the system's sales documents

    Dear Experts,
Kindly provide your valuable inputs for the below mentioned issue-
I have one customer X ( Same for all Partner functions) defined for CCA say CN01( Risk cat, update group 000012). The applicable credit check is STATIC check, with open orders and Open delv. are ticked + Oldest open items= 10 days.
There are two open sales oders amounting 49,854.40 CNY. Customer has the credit limit as 50,000 CNY.
Now We have found, that the FD33 is also showing SALES VALUE as 249. CNY and split of Sales Value shows the 249 as Open billing Doc. But we could not get any Open Billing Document  that is amounting to 249.
We have checked it in S067 ( showing 249), ran the pgm RVKRED88/RVKRED77 but Still this 249 value is appearing.
We have found that there are two open billing Doc. - One invoice and one credit for returns in relation to same Sales cycle. Both amounts to 212.85 CNY each.
Now i am unable to get the information as How can i check this Difference?
    Kindly suggest accordingly.
Many thanks in advance for your understanding.

    Dear All,
Let me give you the finding that i have got for my case:
    1. If you go to FD33, what is the value in field "Sales Value"? (any changes?)
    Sales value= 249
    2. In VA05N, choose SP, Document date & Open Orders; check for values matching the outstanding value (249)
No values are coming in VA05
    3. Which other document types have the same Credit Group, you can check this in VOV8, check the sales doc types you are using for your business processes.
There are a few sales doc. types that are assigned the same credit group. But what to infer from this?
    4. You say in your post "split of Sales Value shows the 249 as Open billing Doc." where exactly can you see this split?
I have searched from Extra tab, also checked the same in other sales report say vc/2 .
    =================
    1. Check the Tcode: FBL5N to check open items
FBL5N: Only one entry , exactly equals to the Receivables value in FD33
    2. FD33 - check oldest Open items - clik on extra - oldest open items
    No Oldest open items
    3. also check F.35 report
Fur ther if you want to go into details what are the checks applied to your sales order you can track this by running the report CHECK_CM by using Tcode: se38 OR sa38.
    1. se38,
    2. Enter the report CHECK_CM
    3. Press F8
    4. Enter COC Number
    5. here you can see the entire credit status of Sales order either it block or not if block what are the credit check applied you can see and you also can see either its blocked - B or released - D by looking the status.
What is COC number, I have tried to execute , and there are options of Sales Document number, I have put the input as The BILLING DOCUMENT THAT ARE HAVING STATUS " NOT POSTED TO FI" In Vf05, but it appeared"Please check the entries. No work list selected"
I am not getting any clue as why THE OPEN BILLING DOC. value is 249, over and above the receivables value, and in system I could not find the Documents which sum up to 249.
    Kindly provide the inputs.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Customer Sales value not decrease (FD33) after billing (VF01)

    Hi,
When Billing a delivery, in FD33 the receivable are correctly increased but sales value still unchanged
normaly it should be decreased with the billed amount.
    Thanks for your help.

    Dear Ihsen,
If I were you I would go to [Note 425523|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/425523]. These issues are usually annoying, but at the end you can always perform reorganization of credit data after update errors- report RVKRED77.

  • FD33 Open sales value against credit for return

    Dear Gurus,
In a particular situation, we had to cancel the sale of a customer for an entire month. Among list of all invoices, we had few cases where returns/PGRs were done and Credit For Returns were issued. All invoices without returns were easily cancelled and sales were reversed.
However, FD33 still shows Open Sales Value (with such open sales order against which returns were punched). Here, An attempt was made to cancel 'Credit for return' but its PGR was not allowed to be reversed because the stock was not there or reprocessed for any reason. Similar behavior was there for all such few returns.
Now, in order to raise a single order, we need to clear this open sales value.
    Have your suggestions here please.
    Regards.

    Hi
However, FD33 still shows Open Sales Value (with such open sales order against which returns were punched).
For those orders against which returns were processed you are seeing open sales value. Right? Why those orders are open? If sale return as been processed then their status should be closed and if they are not required to process in future then reject them. If sale orders are open then there value would be there in FD33.
Moreover how did you know that this value is against those sale orders? Have you verified it with orders or is it just your idea? What is the value of this open sale order in FD33? Try to match it woth orders and identify which orders are causing this open sale order value.
    Thank$

  • "Sales value" in FD33, credit management

    Hi Experts,
    I have configured Credit management.
After creating a sales order. The field "Sales value" (RF02L-SAUFT) in FD33 is NOT getting updated. It remains 0,00.
After I have created a bill, field "Receivables" gets updated.
Could you please advise how field "Sales value" could be correctly updated (i.e. with values of the sales orders that have not yet been transferred to FI )?
Because of the above, I can not get a warning or error message, at creation of sales order stage, when credit exposure > credit limit.
PS - I have tried VKM3, releasing sales orders, but issue still persists.
    I have also executed RVKRED77

    Hey!
Go to transaction VOV7 and make sure of the following:
n  item is relevant for billing
n  item is relevant for credit
n  the item does not have a check mark in ‘item relv for delv’.  This is for text and value items which have no value in R/3 – see note 67748
n  the item is not statistical
If these are not configured correctly, the item will have no value.
Go to the sales order and make sure that the items have a confirmed schedule line. Without a confirmed schedule line, the item will have no credit value.  Next check the pricing procedure.  You can go to the analysis button to find out which pricing procedure is being used.  Go to transaction V/08 and go to the details level of the pricing procedure.  Make sure that an ‘A’ is set in the ‘Sub to’ column for something reasonable like the total of the document.
    Hope it helps.

  • Credit Management Check - Sales Value not updated in FD33

    Hi,
We have configured Credit Management checks in our system.
When we create a Sales Order that has exceeded the Credit Amount for a Customer we get a pop up saying "Credit Limit Exceeded by XXX amount. We proceed to save the sales order.
By my understanding this amount XXX should get get updated in Transaction FD33 - Customer Credit management Display Status in the column "Sales Value". But this does not happen. The value remains as zero.
What could be wrong here. Should this field not be updated with the credit value that the customer has exceeded?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ashwin

The Sales Value in FD33 transaction is the value of open sales orders as of that point. Now in your case if you are creating the first sales order and the value of that order is going beyond the allowed credit limit then and as per setting if system is blocking that order for credit faliure in this case system does not consider this order as open untill it blocked for credit.
Check if the order is blocked for credit. Also see the status of the order in VBUK (status table).
    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
if you don't get a list of sales documents for this particular customer when executing RVKRED88
    1: check your selection parameters
2: maybe there are no open sales orders / deliveries / billing docs (if you want to be sure, create a new sales order in test environment and run RVKRED88 again)
3: maybe your credit-management customizing does not consider the sales documents you expect as relevant for credit management.
Follow SAPNET note 18613 (especially point 7 and 8), this note is a checklist for credit management settings.
    best regards, Christian

  • FD32 Credit management 'sales value'

I am on SAP ERP, I'm trying to figure out how to pull the data that makes up the credit exposure - 'SALES VALUE.'  I believe the sale value includes all undelivered or only partially delivered orders.  I can not find a way to confirm what makes up the total sales value.  How would i oull that detail?
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

check oss note 378833.. it has loads of information.
It is difficult to analyze incorrect open credit values:
The open credit values are updated in Sales Information System (SIS) structures. The structures cumulate values due to common characteristics. Due to the cumulation, you cannot find out subsequently which documents caused the values.
The system generates and reduces open credit values in the SD document chain. The system posts the credit value to the SIS structure and clears it later. This may cause differences between the posted value and the cleared value.
See Note 377165 for a detailed description about updating open credit values.
To correct the incorrect open credit values, proceed as follows:
    1. Correct known errors that occur in the update of the open credit values. To do this, check the relevant composite SAP Notes and implement the relevant corrections in your system if you have not yet imported a Support Package that contains them.
1176872 Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, 60*
735791 Composite SAP Note: Credit update incorrect, 500
735163 Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, Release 4.70
410685 Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, 4.6B/C
385481 Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, 4.5B
385091 Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, Release 4.0B
364928 Composite SAP Note: Incorrect credit update, Release 3.1I
    2. Use composite SAP Note 425523 to check that there is no explanation for the update that you observed.
    3. Check whether incorrect open credit values exist in your system. To do this, compare the sales values in transaction FD32/FD33 (status view) with the results of the report RVKRED88 which you run for the same credit customer and credit control area.
    4. Check whether the incorrect update is caused by user exits or by modifications in your system. The following notes describe possible sources of errors in customer-defined source code.
216448  BW/SIS: Incorrect update / SD user exit
178328  Problems due to incorrect user exits in SD
    5. Use the report RVKRED77 to correct the open credit values. For more information about the report, see Note 400311 (or the documentation of the report in your system) and Note 363343 or Note 755395.
To determine the reason for the incorrect open credit values and to reproduce the error, proceed as follows. Reproducing the error in the test system is a basic prerequisite for analyzing and correcting the problem.
    1. Monitor the open credit values to find out when incorrect values occur. To do this, compare the sales values in transaction FD32/FD33 with the results of the report RVKRED88 again.
    2. Identify the documents that were created or changed since the last run of the correction report RVKRED77 in accordance with Note 389377. One of these documents must have caused the incorrect credit values.
    3. Try to determine which document caused these values. To reproduce the problem on your test system, use the same data as in the document that is causing the incorrect values.
    4. Use transaction MC30 (as described in Note 381789) to check the update of the open credit values after a document is posted.
    5. Use Note 1042857 "Logging credit values" to log the update of the credit values so that you can evaluate this later.
If you can reproduce the error in your test system but there is no explanation for the update you observed, open a customer message with logon data, sample data, a detailed description of the procedure and the relevant contact person.
