FDM - Account by Functional Area (Production and Sales)
I have assigned an import script in C4 to with an "S" or "P" based on the Functional Area field. I want to now suffix this to the Account which i can then use in the Explict Map. Does anyone know what the Account script needs to be to pick up the result of C4?
You will need to do a couple things:
1) Change the processesing order of the dimensions. This is done in the Dimensions metadata by explicitly defining an order of the dimensions using the Calc Sequence. i.e. ensure the C4 dimension has a lower number in the calc sequence column than account.
2) In the C4 import script aswell as returning the value from the function "S" or "P" make sure you assign the return value to a FDM Temporary variable e.g. RES.PvarTemp1
3) Add an import script to the account dimension in it suffix the account code with the the value held in the temp variable.

From a quick search I've found one site from somebody in Puerto Rico that includes a screenshot for an app receipt showing tax of 7 cents added to a 99 cent purchase. Are you able to view the purchase history on the account that you've been using, and see what prices show on them (e.g. if the store's listed price or price plus tax) : Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, then 'see all' link next to the Purchase History section.

I have a new mac Book. I want to put my previously purchased itunes on it. The support page says to authorise the new Mac by going into the itunes store and then authorise. I click on store and all I get are products with no link. Can someone advise where the authroisation link is please?
I don't know why but after about an hour the tool bar you rferred to came on its self jsut as the support solution and you have advised and it is now working, but the toolbar just disappears and that is why I could not find the link or correct store link. Weird! But thanks, Gordon

Not able to select Base unit in Receipt from production and Sales order
Can anybody help me out for the below scenario
I have defined Sales UOM , Sales Packaging UOM, Items per Sales unit and Quantity per Packing UOM for all finished product in the item master.
I have created Production BOM and Production Order (with Issue method is Manual because they maintained items batchwise ) for all Finished products.
Based on Production orders, I received finished products(Batch wise) through receipt from production. But the base unit shows Yes and it is not allow me to change.
In Sales order, the quantity column shows the value of quantity per packing UOM instead of Items per sales unit.
For Ex. ItemA - 01 No (Item per Sales Unit)
3600 Pcs ( Quantity per Packing UOM)
Receipt from Production - 10 Nos
In Sales order - it shows 36000 (10*3600 ) instead of 10 nos
Expecting favourable solution for that.The selectable units on the sales order are the inventory unit or the sales unit. So if you want to see in units of 3600 Pc-s you should define this as Sales Unit (not as packaging unit). Then you can show the item in this unit in the sales documents.
(In the receipt from production document you should always use the inventory Uom.)

Substitute whatever your email account's name is where it states Comcast and see if this helps. The settings would be the same on an IPad as on an iPhone.
Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>and select the Comcast account. From there look at the Outgoing Mail Server. It shoudl list the Comcast SMTP server. Touch that button and it will take you to another settings page for SMTP. It will show you the Primary SMTP server along with other SMTP servers. If the gmail server is listed there, then you can touch on it and turn it off. That should take care of it. The iPhone will try and use the SMTP server you have listed for a particular mail account, however, if that server is unavailable, it will take the next one on the SMTP list until it gets to one it can use. -

Functional Area Determination for Balance Sheet Accounts
Hi all,
We are on 4.7C and want to activate Functional Area updation on Vendor Invoices but when we go to FB60 and create manual Vendor Invoice the Field FKBER does not appear. We have made the FSG optional on the reconciliation account already.
We have tried updating FA, to another Balace Sheet account via GL posting and have succeeded.
Are we missing something, thanks in advance.

Functional ares are used for Cost Sales Accounting per functional area. It will only report the income-expense statement for the functional area.
Note: Balanace sheet accounts can not be mapped to functional are. This is standard behaviour.

In fact, I already use Company and also Functional Area in the role for filtering purposes. I do not need different initiators for different Companies.
What I really tried to do was make GRC-CUP determine the role approvers of a stage to those I informed in Configuration -> Roles -> Attributes -> "Functional Area and Company".
Consider this example: if someone ask for a role that have Functional Areas F1 and F2 and Companies C1 and C2, and I configured Funcional Area and Company F1C1 to approver A, F1C2 to approver B, F2C1 to approver C, F2C2 to approver D. Then the request would go to approvers A, B, C and D. This is sort of what I was expecting, but could not make it work.

If you want to use cost of sales accounting, you have to use functional areas to sort your operating expenses.
You define your functional areas in Customizing under Financial Accounting ® Financial Accounting Global Settings ® Company code® Cost of Sales Accounting ® Define Functional Area.

Order type

Sales order for make-to-order production and requirements class
Maintenance, service, and QM order

During posting, the system derives the functional area from the master data of the assigned objects. For more information, see Derivation of the Functional Area.
Prerequisites
In order to be able to enter the functional area in the master data of the specified objects, the Functional area field in master data has to be ready for input. For this to be the case, cost of sales accounting for your company codes must either be active for preparation or active.
You make the settings in Customizing under Financial Accounting ® Financial Accounting Global Settings ® Company Code ® Cost of Sales Accounting ® Activate Cost of Sales Accounting for Preparation or Activate Cost of Sales Accounting.
The master data of some objects is not company code dependent, rather it is assigned to higher-level organizational units. In such cases, the functional area field is ready for input in all company codes of a client, provided that cost of sales accounting is active for preparation or active for at least one company code of the client.
In the following cases, the master data of an object is not company code-dependent:

You have the following options for entry of functional area in the master data of the specified objects:
Entry of functional area
You can enter the functional area provided that no postings exist for this object.

Where postings already exist, it is no longer possible to change the functional area.
Postings that have already been made cannot be changed automatically. The functional area is derived only in the case of new postings.
Where it is absolutely necessary to change the functional area for existing postings, you can find instructions on how to perform the change in Note 115840. -
Functional Area populating in MIRO during simulation

which is just Typical functional areas are Sales, Production, Marketing, Administration and Research & Development.
so its segregating business by it department as we created via below path:
Financial Accounting Global Settings (New)->Ledgers->Fields->Standard Fields->Functional Area for Cost of Sales Accounting->Define Functional Area
