FDM: Add memos to FDM, URGENT!!!

Hi,
Does anybody know if it's possible to add memos in a import file???
I know it is possible once the file has been imported, but is it possible to these memos in the template to load data into FDM, i think it's not possible as far it's possible to submit files with the Memo.

i have extracted the import file with some memo created, and i can see, in the column "has memos", as TRUE, but i cannot see the any of my memo contents.
Could you explain me how to add comments and files to my memo, please??

Add Memo Functionality not working in UWL

Hi All,
We have added the code in custom UWL to activate the "Add memo" functionality under "You can also:"
in portal inbox for the tasks as per suggested in help.sap.com.
Now when I enter the value and title, then click on submit under Add Memo, i get an error "This action is not valid for this item". I have tried the same with different tasks but for all i get the same error.
Please assist me if any other configuration has to be done to make it working.

I found the answer myself.. along with "addmemo" parameter , we also have to add "uploadmemo" parameter in UWL task configuration file.
THis resolved my issue.

UWL - Change 'Add Memo' button location

Hello Experts,
I'm using UWL in my portal.
I added the option 'addMemo', it works but can I change the default location of the button? (for example: move it next to the decision buttons)
If yes, how do I do that?
Portal version is 7.01 SP6.

Hi,
I highly doubt that you can change the location of the memo functionality. But if I were you I would probably check if I could add a custom action names "Add memo" and use handler "addmemo" for it. So in XML it would look something like this:
<Action name="addmemo" handler="addmemo">
I have no idea if this will work, but at least when you add additional custom actions to your task in UWL, they will be displayed as buttons next to the "standard actions". And if you can launch the standard add memo functionality (=handler addmemo) with your own action, this could solve your problem. Probably worth to try.

FDM Add Application Error

Hi,
I have installed and confgired the FDM Server. (Busy following the FDM OBE document).
When I try to create an application it asks for a "Path" under the General tab. I point to the local installation of FDM which is "D:\Hyperion\products\FinancialDataQuality" but I get the = Error: The Data path is invalid.
Any ideas would be welcomed.

Please take a look at my reply there on Mar. 29, 2007. I am not sure but i assume that you are using Web Dynpro for Java. Attachment capability is available with NW04s SP10 (both runtime and NWDS). Although, SP09 contains the required web dynpro runtime changes but the API has only been made part of SP10. Follow the note numbers provided therein.

You are in luck. The API documentation for JList contains an example of precisely that. Take a deep breath, relax, and read it. (Icons must be GIF or JPEG.)

Conditional Memo Attachments in FDM

Problem Description:
I have a situation where it is required to ensure data integrity in data collection procedures in FDM. I have a situation where expenses when exceed 50000 (e.g) than it is mandatory to load supporting details in the form of memo in FDM. if the user forgets to load than the system should through some kind of warning in FDM Validation Check report or some other kind of indication is also accepted.
I want your help, as to how, if ever possible, I could set in such kind of practice into FDM.

FDM Adapter FM9x-G4-G
HFM 9.3.3

I was just wondering how to do all this!
I know target account to be verified and I would like to make the Validation Step fail. However, how to know whether memo is attached or not?
What is the use of following Enumeration pointed by you and how they could be used?

How to extract data from ORCL GL in "full" and not "delta " with FDM ERPI?

I am using FDM ERPI 11.1.2.1 to extrct data from Oracle eBS 11.
I can see that FDM ERPI extracts data in "delta mode" using the GL_TRACK_BALANCES_DELTA (FDM adds a row in this table after the 1st load of the period").
Is it possible to force the "full mode" in order to reload all the data from Oracle GL for each FDM data load?
Because I don't know why, but I have each month rows which are not imported into FDM.

I had see that I have to install the FDM 11.1.2.1.502 patch in order to see this option in my ERPI adapter options.
I have passed this patch.
So I have the ERPI-FIN-C1 adaptor.
I can see a new option (Time Out Value) but no "Load Data" or "Execution mode" option :-(
Any idea of where the problem come from?

I am using Windows server 2003 and Hyperion 11.1.1.3.
I an trying to configure FDQM.
For info purpose ( I have used CSS (Shared service) in Load Balancing Authentication provider)
I have configure all with username and password and domain name.
When I trying to login via http://hyperion/HyperionFDM/AuthorizedPages/LogonPage.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fHyperionFDM%2fDefault.aspx
it's saying
Error: An error occurred logging on to the system.
Detail: The username or password is invalid or you do not have permission to create or add a new FDM application.
But when I trying to login without the Domain name, the login is accepted.
But after login when I'm trying to "
Verify that the list of accounts is from your Financial Management application."
its saying "ActiveX component can't create object: 'fdmFM11xG5C.clsFMAdapter'".

FDM logon issue

I have congured the fdm 11.1.1.3 after installation for the first time. My FDM and HSS are in two different machines.
When I am loggin in to workbench it's asking for username, pwd, domain. But I have a problem there.
I am getting the following error. whaich user account should I use? even I don't see FDM is appppearing in HSS under the application section?
Error msg : username or password is invalid or you do not have permision to create or add a new FDM application. -2653

If you did not run the EPM Configurator on the FDM Server then that would be part of your problem.
Please ensure you follow all properly documented installation procedures, noted in the EPM Installation Start Here, or by following the OBE available from www.oracle.com

I want query SQL Period Column for the month based on the FDM PoV, can or has anyone a sample script of how this is can be achieved?

Hi,
the easiest way to check it is to redirect your SQL query to text file and then execute in a SQL tool.
You should write the value of strSQL (which actually seems to have missing the SELECT clause)
In any case, your SQL statement seems to be incomplete:

(...And YearID = 2014 while in your table you have FY14)
After you check this, get the SQL statement, review it, and try to launch against your source DB in a SQL tool.

Import script (SQL to FDM) - ConnectionRead error

I have written an import script in FDM to load data from a SQL view. This script works fine when loading approx 5,000 rows, however, fails when trying to load 20k+ rows
The error message I am receiving is:

The only other thing I have tried is copying and pasting the script to Excel.... This works for ALL rows... so seems to be a communication issue between FDM and SQL?
Any ideas?

Memo doesn't display the "add" button on i Phone4 running iOs5th

My Memo app called "Promemoria" in Italia, vannot display the "add" button, so .... I cannot add memo.
Instead of that button there i the "Today" one.
What's the problem?

That will be the Bonjour Buddy List.
The Buddies are added to this one automatically.
It picks up the other people using Macs and with iChat ON (or Messages) with the Bonjour account enabled.
You see their Name as it is in their Address Book > My Card.
They see your Name as per your My Card in the Address Book (Contacts app on Mountain Lion)
You will need to set up iChat with either an AIM name or a Jabber based one.

I am developing a small project to track all the active connections with my computer (win 98 OS). i would like to get help on how to keep track of all computers accesing my system and getting thier ip adds..plz help Urgent. mail to [email protected]

computers accesing my system That requires using the windows api and JNI. If you do not have the MS Developement Library CD you can access the content via the MS web site.
The sun site has info on JNI.
