FDM mail app - having trouble compiling 1.6 anyone have 1.6 package??

I'm having trouble getting 1.6 installed.
I'm still hoping that the bug fixes in the recently release update for tdb might spark an ARCH version of fdm 1.6.
I need fdm 1.6 as the current version 1.4-1 does some weird things with gmail and it's about 16 moths old. There's been a version 1.6 since xmas.
Anyways, sorry to be wimpering.
Anyone have a 1.6 working?

I can now use ABS well enough.
Noticed the bug repor and now that tdb has just been updated, and, I assume the bug is gone... I'm wondering:
- should I wait for new version 1.6 to show up?
- If anyone has a PKGBUILD for 1.6 that will work just lke it will when the package is updated to 1.6 and in AUR.
I think that if I were to just download the package and install I'd not only lose the pacman sync ability (wouldn't I?) and that also the locations for the files would be a bit off, and then there's that tip I got (thanks!) about "make -j1".
hmmm... really need the 1.6 bug fixes.
Of course, there's lots else to do.... and I'm very patient...! hehehe

I am a total newbie at programming and I am having trouble compiling. In the MS-DOS prompt, I located the folder where my .java file is located and typed the following:
javac SampleProgram.java
I received a "Bad command or file name" error. I am typing the names correctly. I am using Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition Version 1.3.1. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help.That should fix it. The problem is that DOS needs to know where to find the executable files like javac.exe
You can either set the path temporarily by typing
SET PATH=.;c:\jdk1.3.1\bin
at the command prompt each time you open a command window, or you can set it more permanently by adding it to your startup config. This will depend on your OS. On win 98 for example, there is an AUTOEXEC.BAT (usually with a SET PATH command already present). You could open this in notepad to add/change:
SET PATH=C:\WINDOWS
to
SET PATH=C:\WINDOWS;.;C:\JDK1.3.1\BIN
Reboot to make the changes take effect. Other OS's may have a special dialog to set this kind of command.

I am unable to Send E-mail via Default mail app in my iphone. IOS7, i have account of icloud, Gmail, Microsoft all the account are well added, i can recieve e-mails but the massage i send is never sent
Turns out this was a simple set up error for me, although i'd set up mobile me to sync my e mails I had never set up my outgoing message server. Therefore, if I received a message from me.com I could reply no problem, however if the message came from aol.com I couldn't reply.

Im having trouble with error 13019 I have read the previous discussions about this matter and have tried to do them except for the fact that under the music tab when clicking on my ipod every thing is frozen. It s not my comp. and i dont wish to restore. Please help!
If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

I have a factory unlocked 4s I'm having trouble with the mms with straight talk I've been useing the sim swap system with tmobile i have put the settings in five times. The setting won't stay it works for a while and then it's gone. I'm not in a good coverage area but when i put the settings in i make sure i'm getting a good signal or near wifi. any suggestions would be great.

I understand you have done all necessary troubleshooting steps that should have enabled you to send messages to iPhone users without them having to disable iMessage. Have you tried contacting Apple Support regarding the inability to send a text message to iPhone users? Apple can be reached at (800) 275-2273.
In addition, do you get a certain error message when your WiFi stops working? Have you verifed that Auto Switch network is disabled? To disable this setting simply to go Settings > Wi-Fi > Tap the Menu Key(to the left of the home button) > Select Advanced and it is called `Auto network switch. My mail app on my iPad is saying I have 3 unread emails but all my emails have been read
I was just wondering if anyone could help me as my mail app is displaying that I have 3 unread emails, but I have gone back through all the folders and I have not! I have turned my iPad off and then back on again and it still hasn't got rid of the problem. Please can someone help?!
Quit Mail.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally. -
Having trouble retrieving a word document,
I cant find my assignment anywhere on my Mac, and when i look at where i saved it, its like it has reverted back to when i first saved it, without all my work that i have completed.

1. Did your computer shut down or 'die' or did you save and then you cant find it?
2. Have you tried looking in spotlight (little magnifying glass up the corner)
3. Have you tried opening the program again? In word and pages, if the program exited forcefully, opening it again will restore the document. -
After updating to ios7 on my ipad,
I can't install any new apps or update any of my already installed apps. Does anyone have a solution?I had the same problem. When I downloaded iOS 7, the auto download switch in the I Tunes & Apps store turned off. Go to the I Tunes & Apps store in Settings and turn the toggle switch to on for Apps auto download.

Mail now having trouble with exchange server
Hi There,
We use a hosted exhange server for email which has been working fine for the last year but all of a sudden we seem to be having issues copnnecting - Mail just sits there with the spining animation and the Activity window displaying a variety of messages such as:
"Syncing Inbox"
"Requesting latest information"
"Traversing mailbox hierarchy"
"Adding messages"
I've talked to our provider and they say nothing's changed their end but we're seeing this issue several times a day accross both 10.7 and 10.6 macs and in different locations (work, home and when traveling).
Normally a restart will fix the issue but I know have a Mac that is just stuck - and a restart doesn't work.
Does anyone know how I might trouble shoot this issue and how I can help our provider to understand what might be happening on the Mac side?
Any help would be much appreciated.

BenSo it looks like the issue was an untrusted certificate as overnight, all my email is back.
However, any messages that came in during that time can't be filed or even deleted - I see this error:
The message “Re:message subject"” could not be moved to the mailbox “Actioned — [email protected]”
An error occurred while moving messages to mailbox “Actioned — [email protected]”
Does any one know what the problem might be?

Would anyone know how to fix this? I'm having horrible slowness with the intel driver, so i thought id compile it and see if that helps..but I get this error when trying to compile libdrm.uploaded pkgbuilds if you want them:

Having trouble Compiling using Textpad editor???
Hi, I Knew to java as well as computers and I need help? I downloaded the java kit and was using textpad as a text editor and every time i tried to compile it said it couldn't find my file, even though I just finished typing it??? Even when I to run in textpad it gives me the same message it gives everyone else "exception in "main" thread etc.; What is this classpath stuff? What do i do with it? I'll rephrase my description.
For win98:
1)Click start button
2)Click Run and Type msconfig
3) Select Autoexec tab and click 'New' if CLASSPATH variable is not present.
4) For new entry key in "CLASSPATH=C:\<jdk directory>\jre\lib\rt.jar"
* your jdk directory will either be jdk1.3 or jdk1.2
Click Ok and Reboot
For win2k or XP
1)Right click on my computer icon on your desktop
2)Select Properties
3)Click on the advanced tab
4)Click on environment variables
5)Under system variables at the bottom click 'New' if CLASSPATH variable is not present
6)For varibale name key in CLASSPATH
7)For variable value key in C:\<jdk directory>\jre\lib\rt.jar
* your jdk directory will either be jdk1.3 or jdk1.2
Click ok and You do not need to reboot
You should be able to compile your java code in textpad after completion of the appropriate steps above. -
HELP! Having Trouble Compiling my Programs
I am designing an application based solely on java, where the user is allowed to choose from a list of selected programs and then see the corresponding code in a textarea. I have my code entering into the textarea fine but when i want the code inside the textarea to compile and eventually execute, i cannot get it to work. i have the 'compile' and 'run' as buttons on my toolbar.
below i have included a web site address describing what i would like to do. It works on much the same basis except i am not using turtle graphics. i would appreciate some feedback on this, and some code would be an added bonus to tackle my problem. i have spent hours on this problem but still no further.

I have also been looking at the classpath and making changes but still no luck. i have decided to include this as well as it might be the root to the problem. My programs are compiling fine in JCreator, but thats using jdk1.3.1, and as you can see from the code below i am now using jdk1.4 in JBuilder. This shouldn't cause an overlap problem should it?

Mail 5: Having Trouble not Organizing by Conversation: Annoying
On Mail 5, we have the option of organizing by conversation or not--apparently. I typically don't want mail organized by conversation. So, I tell Mail not to organize in this way. Pretty quickly Bill Gates apparently has turned organize by conversation back on. How can I keep Bill from doing so?
I have about a jillion mailboxes. I took a quick sample, and I think that all my boxes currently are set not to organize by conversation. What has occurred is that I often find my inbox reset to organize by conversation, and, at that point, I set it not to do so again. Pretty soon, but I don't know quite how soon, I find that it again is reset to organize by conversation. I haven't observed closely enough to see if these Bill-Gates changes are systematic. I don't think they are related to restarting since I do so infrequently. I'll work, actually fiddle around, as I usually do for a while and see if I can see a pattern. I'll get back to you if I see one. And, I'll consider your possible solution.

Having trouble compiling netmap kernel module

First time poster here. Hopefully this question isn't too stupid but I've been having a hard time figuring this out.
I'm trying to install the netmap drivers for Arch. I've downloaded the header files through pacman, but the configure script for netmap spits out an error stating it requires the full kernel source.
This is where I'm unsure of what to do. I've gone to kernel.org and downloaded this tar ball: http://mirrors.kernel.org/archlinux/sou … src.tar.gz
I unpacked it to /usr/src/ and, as instructed in the configure script's error, I run the script with an option to point to the kernel source as such:
./configure --kernel-sources=/usr/src/linux/
