Feather Error in batch saving
I am trying to save a bunch of open edited files to a new folder without having to select "save as", "folder", etc.. for each individual file, as this takes forever. My knowledge base in photoshop is still in the very early phases (I'm using CS5)
I Googled how to do it and followed the directions of : file -> action -> batch -> source(all open files) & then selected the folder I wanted to save them to. When I then go to run the command I get: The command “Feather” is not currently available" for every photo. What am I doing wrong/how do I fix this?

Check system log and also check work process trace, to know the error.
I feel that it could be Authorization issue, you don't have sufficient authorization to do.

Batch Saving jpg from Camera Raw PSE 6 for Mac
I'm running PSE 6 for Mac. I'm shooting in RAW to retain all data from sensor. My work flow is straight forward.
Review photos on CF card and do initial throw away of bad photos.
Download from CF card to Backup drive to preserve original photos.
I upload photos to Bridge, keyword, grade, and copywrite, etc. then open in Camera Raw and process as necessary; exposure, recovery, sharpen, fill-in, crop, fill-in etc.
Select all and do a save (default is .png) to save my changes. Since Camera Raw will not save to jpg format I open in PSE6
My workflow can change here depending on what my end product will be but usually I'll send some photos out to share which is the subject of another post. I can't make the program resize more than one photo for email even though I have all of the photos I want to email selected in the film strip.
Anyway my process for batch saving to jpg is as follows:
Select all of the photos (I will select only those that have been cropped to the same size such as 4x6) in the film strip.
Open File > Process Multiple Files
Fill out the dialogue box (see attachment) and press OK
The next thing that happens completely negates the automated process, I get the Save As Dialogue box for every photo (see attached)
I delete the "copy" text and save
6. Some of the photos turn out black under preview in finder
7. When I try to reopen the jpg in PSE6 I get an error message (see attachment)

Stop right there! That's a very bad idea. You should not be viewing images that are still on the card. Download them to your local hard drive first. Otherwise you run the risk of the software writing to the card and destroying the format.

Error occurred while saving document in Web Analysis Studio
We have encountered an issue when we tried to save a new report in Web Analysis. An error message box will prompt up displaying "Error occurred while saving document." (Please refer to the attached screenshots). Clicking the details button gives no response.
Originally we encountered this whilst creating a report with an SQL spreadsheet (JDBC connection tested successfully), which failed to save. Proceeding to test this saving a blank report also gave the same error message.
The report shows up in the Oracle view, however also produces an error when trying to open it. "Unable to perform request
Undefined exception encountered. Recommended Action: Contact your corporate technical support." (Please refer to the attached screenshots)

Thanks for your reply. I am already using the admin account which is given administrator provisioning under Reporting & Analysis. I have not had issues in the past of saving documents to the server location (e.g. with FR studio). Any ideas as to what else could cause this error? Thanks! -

Thanks.This might be the case when DBA is trying to make tablespce read only and some transaction is waiting for commit read only command is in hang state.
Check with your DBA to know the datafile status.

Error message when saving a PDF to PNG: Error attempting to write file.
I get an error message when saving a PDF to PNG. JPG and TIFF works, but no PNG.
Disk space is sufficient! 100GB of 250
A few weeks ago it was no problem to save as PNG. But now! (Perhaps from last update?)

HP scanning error: “An error has occurred saving the file because it could not be written to. Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only.” Dr. Google finds others with this problem. Some claim that this is caused by an upgrade of Apple OS10 (which I did do). One claims that HP has a "patch" for this problem. If I try to quit HP scan, it won't quit and freezes my computer. Here's the odd thing. I have no problem scanning in a colored page from Scientific American either before or after this error (after rebooting each time), but simple black and white documents started just today to give the error message above.
Thank you for the link however if I understood all of the instructions I would still be reluctant to try this on my own especially from a third unknown party where some of the information may be wrong and/or lost in translation. (Google translation at the end of this comment). The instructions say to uninstall the software. So if I uninstall the original HP software am I using the original disk to reinstall and then personalize again?What about all of the updates since I originally installed the software? I found the Disk Utility but what is "gatekeeper"And I am using OS X 10.9.1 that is current because I downloaded the latest upgrade. How would I reinstall it?And at what point do I go to the URL for the software drivers and the patch? I recently uploaded the Maverick operating system. I wanted to scan some things on my HP Printer/Scanner and could not . This is the error message I received: An error has occurred saving the file because it could not be written to. Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only. I have the familiar Mavericks issue of failing to save scanned files from my Mac:
"An error has occurred saving the file because it could not be written to. Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only."
As far as I can see, there has been no resolution to this issue, despite reassurances dating to last fall (2013).
The support website acts funky, too, sending me around in circles when I try to download the drivers; it may be a Safari-only problem, but still, please fix your software!Hi,

Have you tried scanning with Image Capture or Preview?

This error message comes up every time I try to save a scanned document to my mac 10.9 .4 . I have reset the software for my HP C5180.All in one. I have not had te problem before, just recently following some upgrades ....any suggestions how to fix this, on reading forums it seems its a common problem.. not good .

Please try the following:
Reset the printing system. OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system.
Verify and repair disk permissions. Disk Utility 12.x: Repair disk permissions.

I have Maverick 10.9.1 installed I scanned a photo on my HP D 110 series but it won't let me print or save it: An error has occurred saving the file because it could not be written to. Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only.

So check screen number, screen fields and report name. In case of screen fields, use F1, F9 (technical information), and check the name of the screen field for batch processing (all the way at th bottom of the pop-up). This can differ from actual name of the screen field.
If all this is ok, try to create a recording of the transaction with SM37. -
Error occured while saving the user account information
I'm trying to install LiveCycle ES 2 with PDF Generator on a Windows 2008 server wtih SQL Server 2005. When I run the configuration manager I get an error in the step where you add the administrator user credentials for generator. The error I'm receiving is ALC-PDG-080-032-Error occured while saving the user account information. Has anyone seen this issue before? Any ideas on what the problem may be?
Going back some time, another user (do not recall Matrox on the system) had a similar issue. The workaround in that case was to use Save_As and just increment the file name. Now, I do not recall any real "fix," and for another user, the Save_As resulted in the same behavior, so it was not a universal workaround.

Error occured while saving ume properties
Hi All,
We have installed SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 central instance(ABAP+JAVA)
I logged into Enterprise Portal using J2EE_ADMIN user.
I am trying to change properties in System Administration --> System configuration --> UME Configuration --> ABAP System.
I changed properties then i clicked on 'Saved All changes' button. I am getting following error.
"An error occured while saving UME Properties. contact your system administrator'
I want solution to move forward.

Please check whether J2EE_ADMIN is having super administrator role in portal or not.
If you have assigned system administration role directly then it might be the case.
You can try with config tool if still you are getting the problem in the portal

Incoming IDOC Error "No batch input data from the screen SAPMV45A 4001"
Hello ,
The Incoming IDOC with Message type 'ORDERS' is triggering the error message "No batch input data from the screen SAPMV45A 4001" with message no 00344 . There is an SAP note 785000 to handle this type of error message which has been already implemented. Still we are encountering few IDOC error's at the time of sales order creation. The IDOC reaches status 51 throwing the error which is again reprocessed through BD87 .
We are unable to replicate the similar scenerio in Development & Testing systems as it works fine.
Can any one kindly advise how to eliminate the error "No batch input data from the screen SAPMV45A 4001" message at the time of Incoming IDOC processing.
