Feature Changes Without Consent

Unlimited data for web, have been authorized by Verizon without consent and they are unable to change it on there end. CS had been insubordinate and needs to request through there IRP( inactive pricing request) department for changes, in the mean time their bill which proof explains the history of usages per line and needs to wait for the request to go through. Unacceptable per customer satisfaction.

Why does it need to take so long for the request to be submitted, when there is already proof of eligibility? the decision should already be made because of history bill, no upgrade was made only a replacement. "special team" is inexcusable, customer service should be able to do it per eligibility, history of bills, and form changes, without consent from the participant customer, why were changes made in the first place? the system should not be automated that way without permission from the customer

Preview stores changes without cmd-s

I am using Preview version 5.5.2 on Mac OS 10.7.4.
1- When I carry out changes on a JPG file, Preview automatically saves the changes to the ORIGINAL FILE! I never press cmd-s or do anything else to save the changes as I want to store the resulting picture in a new file. The original should NEVER be changes! Obviously I am doing something wrong!
2- There is no "Save as" menu item in the File menu. Why? Instead there is "Export ..." that I don't really understand. What was wrong with "Save as"? The rest of the world is using "Save as". So why did Apple change this menu item to something different?
3- When I export a export a file, it is changed WITHOUT file extension even when you specify the file type like JPEG or PNG. So instead of storing the file as "somename.jpg", it simply stores it as "somename"! Is this again another change of Apple because they think it is better to do so for the user?
PLEASE: Never touch a running system!
Preview was good enough previously. This modernisation is just a pain!
Is there anyway to fix these issues in Preview?

I edit the presentation depending on the audience to which I am presenting.

If you add a new slide with just a text box (therefore a very small amount of data), to an existing presentation then save, Keynote will only save the new content to the file, it wont save pre-existing content as its already included in the file.
The time taken to "save" will be very much shorter than a "save as" when all of the existing content is saved again.

Payment due date was changed without notice

I received a text message on 7/9/15 advising me my bill would be due on 7/23/15 rather than 8/1/15. A text message is really not an appropriate form of notification first of all. If I'm 2 days late you charge me a late fee, yet my billing cycle can be changed without notice? I called on 7/9/15 regarding this along with many other issues I have been having with AT&T. I was told this was corrected and my bill would be due on 8/1/15. Today I recieve an email stating my bill is due on 7/23/15. I again contacted AT&T and I was told this change was never made by the agent I spoke to. I was apparently lied to.I was then told it would take up to 2 billing cycles to change it back to 8/1/15. So in short, AT&T can change my billing cycle without notice yet it takes 2 months to change it back? At the very least I would call this practice. I have been with AT&T for many years and will likely cancel once my contract is up in December.

My billing cycle had always run from teh 20th of the month to the 19th of the following month, with the bill due around the 17th. Several months back, AT&T notified me that my bill due date would be changed by up to one week. I got serveral weeks notice, and when my due date changed, my bill is now due on the 14th of the month. The billing cycle did not change, it is still the 20th to the 19th, but the due date move up by 3 days. Since my billing cycle ends on the 20th, and it had always taken 3-4 days before the bill was generated, the new due date now means it's due 3 weeks after the bill is generated.
If you look back at the details of the bill you have received (either paper or electronic) you will probably find a small section in there telling you that this change was coming. So many people don't look at their bill each month, they just look at the total and say, "yeah, that looks about right" and they pay it without looking at the details of what they are paying for. If there is an error in your bill, you only have 90 days to bring it to AT&T's attention, so it is in your best interest to look at it each month.

System Preferences Changing Without User Input

I have one user who has had random system preferences change without her input.
She is a network user connecting to a Lion 10.7.5 Server via OD.
Her desktop is Lion - 10.7.4
Example: Today her setting for Security and Privacy to require a password on screen saver wake-up was changed/no longer checked.
Her setting to be able to use a right click on her mouse changed 3x last week without input.
Any ideas?

If you are asking if the user is defined more than once, the answer is no. Just one entry.

Did you first activate the new phone on her line or your line?? You would have to activate the phone on her line first and then make the switch otherwise yes, you will lose your unlimited data.

Screen brightness changes without me doing it

I just bought a refurbished HP Pavilion TS Sleekbook 15. I am loving it except the screen brightness changes without me doing anything and it is driving me crazy!! It dims and brightens sometimes when I click on something and other times for no apparent reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I understand that you are having a problem with the display screen brightness dimming without you changing it. I will try my best to help you with this issue. To better assist you, could you please tell me the whole model number of your computer and the operating system that is running on it. Here are some guides for How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? and Which Windows operating system am I running?
The dimming could be related to the power settings on your Sleekbook. Here is a document for Disable Auto-Dimming of the Screen on Your HP Laptop that has steps for changing the dimming settings.

If you don't need your old custom template, save your changes with the same template name. It will tell you that this template exists and will ask you Replace? Say yes (if you do want to replace the old with the new!)
To delete unwanted templates, go to Finder > Menu > Go and press the option key. Your Library will show in the Go Menu. Navigate to Library > Application Support > iWork > Numbers > Templates > My Templates.
Delete any unwanted template by dragging it to the Trash or click on it then command-delete.
Having gone to all that trouble to find My Templates folder, right click (or control click) on it and Make Alias. Drag the Alias to any convenient place for a quick way to get back to that folder.

You probably need to contact Apple directly, and have a lawyer and be able to prove this is pirated audio.
Apple is not likely to take action without some sort of proof.

Compression options changed without any warning.

Recently I went to export my latest artistry using quicktime conversion only to discover that the export options have completely changed without me ever doing anything to make them change. Now the Sorenson 3 scheme is missing from the menu and I have no clue why. It's a terrible thing since all of my Vj clips are in this format.
What do I do? How do I get it back? GRR! These are the types off things that make me wish I had become a farmer instead of a video producer.

Hmmmm. It is off. as far as I can tell. Looking at the software update window from the System Preferences menu. The check for updates is not selected. Yet I often get little windows prompting me to download updates. I always say no but my partenr always says yes. Is there some other hidden control panel for this option?
