Feature Request - adobe application switcher

In Photoshop and LightRoom, an application switcher built into the top of the application. Like the " B. Application bar or C. Workspace switcher " area in Photoshop , much like the Bridge and Mini-Bridge icons in Photoshop Application Bar that allow switching to those bridge app.
I don't know where that might be in Lightroom, somewhere accessible. This would be so nice. Actually why not all across the CS Apps too, at least as a preference.

Essentially after following the tutorial video very carefully, modifying the shortcuts, making sure there are no traces of other instances of the old shortcut, I save the file then when I reopen AE, I get this window:
Then when I check the folder housing the shortcuts text file I see that my modified shortcut text file simply got renamed "old" at the end of the line:
See second line in window "Shortcuts.txt.old" -> that's the file I modified. It looks like AE simply spawned a new default shortcuts file titled "...Shortcuts.txt"

Request for New Features in Adobe Application Manager

Creative Cloud has been around for a year now and Adobe Application Manager has been the tool to update and download new apps. AAM works fine but, it's so minimal, ever since then I've been waiting for Adobe to release a more useful version.
Here are some essential features that would make Adobe Application Manager more useful...
- Make the AAM window resizeable. If a window contains a long list of items why would it be locked at a short height? Just let the user expand the window as large as they like to view all items.
- Show the version numbers next to the application titles. User should be able to see the version of the available update as well as the version currently installed on user's computer.
- Show the available app's download size in MB. And, while downloading show the MB progress/totals not just a percentage.
- Allow user to pause downloads.
- Show a short description of the application under each title. Or, at least make a link to the application's webpage.
- Add an Uninstall option for user's existing apps.
I currently have Version 7.0.0.324 of Adobe Application Manager. Please let me know if there is some other more advanced version of AAM or if I'm overlooking some existing features.

Feature Request: Adobe, please make After effects CC keyboard shortcuts customizable as in Premiere

I'm making this feature requests because I've tried the only two known methods for customizing keyboard shortcuts in After Affects and neither of these work in CC:
• 2008 video tutorial on Creative Cow Forum for modifying the After Effects Keyboard shortcuts text file - unfortunately this doesn't work in AE CC
• a youtube tutorial about how to install KeyedUp for After Effects - tried this but also not able to change any shortcuts in AE CC
One of the things I love most about Premiere Pro CC is how many keyboard shortcuts you can customize. You can even do this in Adobe Audition.
So why not in After Effects?
Adobe please bring this feature to the next update of After Effects CC.

Suggested Feature for Adobe Application Manager

In an upcoming release I'd like to suggest a feature for the application manager. It would be nice if there was a shutdown computer after updates finish option. This way I could let it run when I finish working, leave, and have it take care of shutting everything down for me.

Aarroonn789 the Adobe Application Manager is a main component of the Creative Cloud Desktop application. I would recommend removing and reinstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop application. To make it 'live' you would need to install it into an Apex instance that is 'visible' to your end users.

Feature Requests - Adobe Reader for Android

Adobe Reader for Android is a good start, it renders well (and renders 2 pages at a time), and the UI is nice, but there are some missing features.
Please can we have the following features added in the next update;
# Bookmark support, including the ability to create and modify bookmarks.
# A method of jumping to a specific page in the document
# Ability to share the file by email
# Ability to copy text
# A method of searching text in the document
Thanks for the app, it looks promising, but needs the above features added to be a better app than Repligo Reader.

The marriage of Adobe Forms, the Web and Tablets blows the doors open to numerous new applications and markets and squarely puts Adobe as the focal point of such solutions.
Our software has been PC-based and the 75% of our solution is usable for the tablet market. The other 25% of our functionality relies on displaying and completing Adobe forms over the web. Our customers are BEGGING for it.
So can you PLEASE PROOVIDE INSIGHT AS TO IF/WHEN you would be including full form functionality in the READER product for Android?

Feature Request: multiTask application audio with ability to use other apps

Several nice apps such as Pandora and NPR allow for streaming audio, but if you leave the app, the audio stream stops. This is a poor experience. I would like to stream Pandora or NPR audio while also enjoying the rest of my iPad at the same time (browse in Safari, check out photos or email or maps for example). The only supported multitasking audio is from iTunes which is nice but this support should be extended to 3rd party apps that stream audio.
My other suggestion would be to have the iPad allow for split screen so two apps can run and be viewed simultaneously, browser and calendar for example. There is enough screen nreal estate on the iPad to make this easily doable and a great user experience.

Feature Request for Adobe Camera Raw CC

Cinema DNG Videographers / Cinema Photographers using ACR to debayer footage...
Feature request to export / save video files directly from ACR - - > Option to create video files with fps.
Note: The option to export video does exist within the main menu of Photoshop. However, this does not apply to image sequences when imported into ACR.
Uses:
Current workflow for using ACR requires applying color correction and/or image presets to footage in order to process DNG image sequences.
When shooting Cinema DNG files the image sequence is likely to be hundreds or even thousands of photos in length. These files could be processed with ACR and no other application.
Adobe Media Encoder does not accept 16-bit Tiff sequences (CS 5.5).
AE and Premiere CC accept 16-bit image sequences.
Why import into AE and CC just to set FPS?
Why import into AE and CC just to export proxy files & additional video files?
May be a very applicable option for 64-bit & 256-bit background processing?
Why make this feature applicable?
ACR is remarkable at debayering DNG images.
ACR processes DNG files faster than AE.
ACR enables user color-correction presets as well as secondary Look Up Tables (LUTs) to be applied to image sequences (potential investment for Kodak, Fuji and other color-correction houses).
ACR has the potential to offer users the ability to acquire a single application for processing DNG image sequences without having to purchase an entire post-production software suite.

Moving default Applications to subfolders in Lion? Feature request?

I like to keep my Applications folder tidy. I put music apps in a "Music" folder, apps for communicating in a "Communications" folder, useful stuff in "Utilities", etc. It makes it easy to find things. But Apple seems to have hijacked my Applications folder making my organization efforts impossible.
Installing Lion broke my ability to organize. It will no longer let me move apps like FaceTime and iChat out of the top level Applications folder into subfolders. I don't use most of these very often, and I want to hide them so I don't have to sort through a hundred apps every time I want to find something quickly.
I wish I could turn off this behavior which disables my ability to move applications. When I try to put them into subfolders, it just copies the folder instead of moving it and I can't delete the top level folder after it copies to the subfolder.
This is driving my crazy. One of the reasons I prefer Mac OS to Windows and recently switched back to Mac is that I like to be able to organize my stuff the way I want it. What really bugs me is that I used to be able to do this with Snow Leopard.
This and this alone makes me regret buying Lion.
Maybe this is a feature request...
Is there any way around this that isn't going to be a total nightmare during patching?

Yes, what you say is true and might satisfy some, but I actually kind of hate Launchpad. I even disabled it's trackpad shortcut I dislike it so much. It's too IOS-lke, which I find difficult to rearrange, as well. I just tried it again following your post, but I still think it's annoying and hard to work with.
I'm looking for a fix or workaround within Finder. I just want the old Finder-Applications-folder functionality back.

Unable to install updates nor exclusive features; Adobe Application Manager damaged?

I've acquired a Spanish student's subscription of Adobe Creative Cloud, and downloaded Photoshop CS6 Extended, Flash CS6 Professional and Illustrator CS6. However, I have two issues related to downloading updates:
When I try to update or download an application, the Adobe Application Manager shows the message "Downloading error | Adobe Application Manager is damaged and it is necessary to resinstall it. Download it now or contact with customer's support."
However I reinstalled AAM three times, but instead of reinstalling, shows the message "Updating Adobe Application Manager" and after the installation, running AAM again shows the same message.
I cannot access to the Adobe Creative Cloud exclusive features of Photoshop and Illustrator, showing the application as if it was activated by a serial, and not by subscription.
I am using a Windows Vista 32-bit operating system.
Update: The version of AAM is 6.2

I have the same issue, particularly with Pixel Bender 2.5, all the other upgrades get installed correctly without trouble but this one always fail, the message I get is the same one every time:

Installation failed
Can you point me in the right direction? It seems to me that the patch is faulty.

Here's another update on my issue with Adobe Application Manager, I just realized today that actually none of the available upgrades got installed. Although it only marks an error with Pixel Bender, other components such as Photoshop, Premiere and others aren't being upgraded either even when the program tells you otherwise, what I mean is that for example there's Photoshop 12.0.2 available for download so I click on "Update"; the files get downloaded and installed with no error message being displayed but when I check the software it is still version 12.0.1, the same is happening with Premiere and another one, can't remember which one.
This is additional to the issue of Pixel Bender being unable to upgrade.

I tried to download all the available updates individually from the Adobe website, the only one that went through was Photoshop, but then when I double clicked it to install it the same faulty application manager launched and I got the same behavior than before, it runs the installation and displays a message that states that everything was installed correctly, yet there no upgrade performed.
All the rest of the available downloads failed to mount.
Also the speed for download is excessively low, I checked my connection and the issue is not on my end, but yours.
This is starting to become very frustrating.

Feature Request (again); Adobe Bridge Cache Manager

In Adobe Bridge, the Cache is still a problem and a huge memory hog. I asked for a good Cache Manager over 3 years ago when it was needed CS4.
Now in CS6, I am disappointed that the cache system in Bridge has not changed. Why do you have a section in the Adobe Forums that asks for 'Feature Request' and then ignore them?

If you submit a feedback poll where Yammer pointed you, and it gets a couple of hundred (thousand?) users agree you might get Adobe's attention.
I agree with Yammer that Bridge is a low priority project with Adobe. Think their target audience is the casual user with a few hundred photos added each year. Your use pattern is more specialized and you either have to adapt with scripts or move to another product IMO.
The size of cache takes a lot of people by surprise. It can grow humongous if you use HQ thumbs and save 100% previews. One can dump the cache in preferences, but many are reluctant to to this as they think it will delete all their keywords and edits. In addition, to do a search you have to re-index all your files, which can take a long time.
If you have "export cache to folders" checked, dumping the cache in preferences only dumps the central cache. To dump the folder cache you have to visit each folder and click on Tools/cache/purge cache for xxx folder. Again, most people do not recognize this. This technique purges both the central and folder cache for this folder only.
It the 100% previews are the problem for you it would seem like a simple task for the script people to write one that would delete it after xx days as the 100% previews are held in a specific folder.
Bridge is not a good digital asset manager. You are probably in that arena dealing with several hundred thousand images. Omke uses a DAM as it does some functions better than Bridge, but Bridge is still his main program. Can't remember the name, but if you read these posts you might have seen it.

Also, I agree, many may never need Prelude. It's gotta be a tough battle for Adobe when introducing a new tool, such as Prelude. I almost ignored it as well, until a project came up that required me to organize a lot of "prosumer" AVCHD footage—footage from multiple days and cameras. AVCHD, like P2, has an extensive folder structure which doesn't lend itself to quickly copying and pasting one 3 clips here and 7 clips there into different locations. I found Prelude to be pretty basic, but almost perfect for the task at hand (minus the few complaints I showed in the video).
