Feature Request for Adobe Media Encoder??

Hi,
Why isn't there an option to make a feature request for 'Adobe Media Encoder' on the Adobe Feature Request page??? (Adobe Media Encoder isn't on the list of software)

Adobe Media Encoder now has its own entry in the feature-request and bug-report form:

  • Feature Request for Adobe Camera Raw CC

Cinema DNG Videographers / Cinema Photographers using ACR to debayer footage...
Feature request to export / save video files directly from ACR - - > Option to create video files with fps.
Note: The option to export video does exist within the main menu of Photoshop. However, this does not apply to image sequences when imported into ACR.
    Uses:
Current workflow for using ACR requires applying color correction and/or image presets to footage in order to process DNG image sequences.
When shooting Cinema DNG files the image sequence is likely to be hundreds or even thousands of photos in length. These files could be processed with ACR and no other application.
Adobe Media Encoder does not accept 16-bit Tiff sequences (CS 5.5).
AE and Premiere CC accept 16-bit image sequences.
Why import into AE and CC just to set FPS?
Why import into AE and CC just to export proxy files & additional video files?
May be a very applicable option for 64-bit & 256-bit background processing?
    Why make this feature applicable?
ACR is remarkable at debayering DNG images.
ACR processes DNG files faster than AE.
ACR enables user color-correction presets as well as secondary Look Up Tables (LUTs) to be applied to image sequences (potential investment for Kodak, Fuji and other color-correction houses).
ACR has the potential to offer users the ability to acquire a single application for processing DNG image sequences without having to purchase an entire post-production software suite.

Hi! Moved to the correct forum.

  • PS3 preset for adobe media encoder

Hey everyone.  I have a Canon hv30 that shoots in HDV format.  I edit the clips in PPCS4, color correct in AECS4, then I output using Media Encoder.  I don't have a blu ray burner, but I have heard that if you burn a mp4 file to a regular DVD, you can watch it using your Playstation 3 in all it's HD glory.  Just wondering if anybody knows what the best settings are to do this using Adobe Media Encoder.  Thanks ya'll

  • Long load times normal for Adobe Media Encoder from Premiere CS5?

When I export a sequence from Adobe Premiere CS5 using Adobe Media Encoder, the system freezes for several minutes before giving me the exporter screen.  Then, when I've loaded my settings and clicked "export," the system again freezes for several minutes before beginning to encode.    I'm using a system with an Intel I7 CPU 930 @ 2.80Ghz 2.80 Ghz., 24 GB of ram, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit operating system and an Nvidia quadro FX4800 graphics card..  Everything else is fast, but AME is slow.  Is this normal? Should I reinstall AME?

Not sure what you mean about the process.  From Premiere CS5, I click on "export" which brings up a menu. I select "media" from the menu which brings up the Adobe Media Encoder.  I adjust my settings and click "export" from the bottom of the screen to immediately render the Premiere file.  Clicking "Queue" would put the program into the AME Queue.  Am I missing something?  On the slowness issue, looks like I need to reinstall AME. I've been reluctant to do that, partially because I'm using some Matrox hardware and I'll have to reinstall the Matrox softare to populate the matrox settings into the media encoder. Looks like it may be worth it.
    Thanks.

  • Long time for Adobe Media Encoder to encode 3 minute video

I created a Premiere Pro project with a dynamic link to Adobe After effects (both CS4 versions).
Upon finishing this PremPro project which is a 3 minute song with 3d animation playing in the background, I chose Export Media.
Since first try was taking a long time (15 minutes and little progress), I removed the 3 transitions I had in my Premiere Pro Project, reduced the audio from 128 to 64 bit, decreased the bit rate to its lowerst 56 kbps instead of the default which is something like 1000-2000 kbps I believe (Please let me know default value so I can reset it ) and reduced video size from 960 x 620 to 380 x 244.  I also shut all of my programs that could be chewing up significant memory.
I'm just looking for a rough feel of how things will look so only wanted to start with a 'draft quality' render of my flv - but the Adobe Media Encoder is still saying it will take 1 and a half hours, and this is on a 64 bit, Win 7 system with lots of RAM (24GB) and plenty of hard drive space.
The actual After Effects compositions are fairly complex, with numerous 3d animations superimposed on one another, but I wasn't sure if this sluggishness suggested something was wrong that I need to correct to get quicker performance, or if it's simply a reflection of a complicated scene, and that's how long things will take even at those very minimal settings.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

  • Missing presets for Adobe Media Encoder 6.0

Im missing my DVD preset's in Adobe Media Encoder 6.0.   I recently  downloaded the Production Suite from the cloud.   How do I get them?
If I open Media Encoder the preset is there but if I send it to Queue it changes the encoding to AAC audio only.  If I use the Export setting in the media encoder it works fine.

  • Is there a keyboard shortcut for Adobe Media Encoder?

is there a way to make such a shortcut?

Dosn't seem to be listed in the Keyboard Customisation list.
If you feel brave, and have the patience to work out the required data, you could try adding an extra entry in XML in a .kys file and see if that works.

  • Adobe Media Encoder update is available for this version

  • Adobe Media Encoder for PPro CS2

Anyone know where I can grab this update for Adobe Media Encoder CS2? Seems like all links to it are dead, and unfortuently Adobe feels the need not to host old updates to old programs, I assume to force you to later versions.
Does anyone have the update on their PC? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Link to update is dead.

Yes, I do not ever recall any updates/patches for anything on the Premiere side of the whole Production Studio suite - AE, AI, PS, but not PrPro or En.

  • Adobe media encoder error message - please help

I purchased adobe creative suite 4 web standard in january of 2010.  I'm in the process of learning how to use all the features.  I am building a website in dreamweaver and wanted to create and import a flash movie.  I opened adobe media encoder from my program files.  I added an avi file to the encoder, chose a medium quality for web, and clicked Start Queue.  I then got the following pop up error message:
    Error Message:
    Adobe Media Encoder Debug Event
Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an error.
    [..\..\Src\Win\WinFile.cpp-754]
    Please help.
    Thank You.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS6 (6.0.1) update available

The Adobe Media Encoder CS6 (6.0.1) update is available.
It has bug fixes and some new features.
You'll see from the post above that one of the features is left somewhat unexplained for the moment. That's because we wanted to get the bug fixes for Adobe Media Encoder out as soon as possible, rather than hold this update and wait for it to coincide with certain other events. Stay tuned. We'll have more information about that new feature quite soon.

I'm having a problem with Media Encoder 6.0.1 - it will encode for a few minutes, then slow down and sit, and then stop with an error (Error compiling movie.  Unknown error).  This happens with both h.264 and MPEG2, exporting 1080p.  This is with Windows 7, and the Task Manager shows the used memory increase and the CPU usage increase when ME starts, and when it slows down the CPU usage stops and the memory usage goes down.
(When it stops with the error it makes a loud noise, like a goat dying!  Must be the programmers idea of how to notify there is an error!)
This is happening on two different computers running Production Premium CS6 , and is pretty consistent between the two.  I don't know if ME 6.0 had this issue, only had CS6 a few days before the 6.0.1 update and may not have exported a file.  There have been no encoding issues at all with CS5 and CS5.5.
Any ideas what is causing this - something in the setup?  A bug?

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS 4.2.0

Since I installed Adobe Ceative Suite Master Collection CS4 on My Mac, Adobe Update ask for the possible update, which is good, but it report too each time Adobe Media Encoder CS 4.2.0 (which is normally have been already downloaded and installed)
Even now, if I check the possible update, Updater indicate again Adobe Media Encoder CS 4.2.0 as update available !
I suppose, this update is not properly install. Those last two days, I updated 4 time with each time the same request for updating only  AME CS 4 !

    Having similar issue:
    (Mac OS X 10.6.4; Adobe CS4)
I run Adobe Updater and the only update it shows is for Adobe Media Encoder CS 4.2.0
I download and install, it all seems fine. Launching AME and choosing About... shows that I have version 4.2.0.006 installed.
But if I run Adobe Updater again it still shows the same update AME CS 4.2.0 is available.
    How do I fix this?
