Feature request: Showing Program change # in addition to Patch & Set names

Right now, MS2 is pretty much designed to step forward and backward through patches and sets. Although you do assign program change numbers to each patch and you can set a text box on screen to display the program number once you have selected the patch, it would be nice if we could add a third column in the Set - Patch selection module that also shows the program change #. Having this information displayed on the screen would give you a quick reference of the number that needed to be chosen to jump directly to a patch instead of relying on stepping forward or backwards to get to the patch you want to play. Right now, when I am configuring a concert, I load in previously used sets that included patches that will be played for that song. If we had this information displayed on the screen, we wouldn't have to worry about changing all the program #'s for each patch, since we could just use the same program # we assigned to the patch when we first created it.
In fact, taking this approach one step further, we could view all of our user patches along with their respective program change numbers just like you can on a hardware sampler or synth.
I don't know if this is something that could actually be done using text boxes or such that are connected to the program change number, but if someone has a suggested I would be interested.

Having a way to quickly renumber the program changes for the patches would certainly be helpful. However, what I am interested in is a way to display the program change number right along side the patch name in the patch / set list combo box. I know there is a way to display the program change number by itself that displays the currently selected patch, but that doesn't help me either (other than to verify that I have selected the right patch).
What I am trying to do is to avoid having to change the program change numbers each time I set up a concert. I would like to create a patch, assign a specific program change number to it, and save it as is. Then when I build my concert, using Set's as placeholders for each song, I can see what the program change # is needed to change to a specific patch. This also means that I can assign that specific program change # in my pedal board so that whenever I use that patch in a Concert for a gig, I can call it up on my pedal board as well without having to change anything. I guess I can still save each patch with a unique program change # and then make a notation on my music what program change # I need to select on my pedal board, but it would be nice to have the pc #s displayed so I can just jump to it on the fly without having to previously know what the number is.
(I am probably making this more complicated that it needs to be ...)

Feature Request - show substitution string values in session state display

Hi!
I would like to request that in addition to page and application items and session state values that the value of substitution string values be shown. Another option would be to have a separate link (like session) to display them. This would allow developers to see all of the available substitution values and how they change across pages, etc.

Feature Request: "Show Password" option in login s...

When I am connecting to wi-fi networks, the connection dlg box often gives me the option to show the characters of the wi-fi password, so that I can ensure that I'm putting the right chars in.
Can I request this same option in the login screen for Skype, as it happens too often that I fumble-finger a character and only find out about it when I can't log in, and then I can only see dots in the password field, so I have to backspace over the whole password and tap it all in again. Would be easirer if I could just fix the incorrect character.
Yes, I have turned on the "show temporarily the chars in the PW field as you type them" option in my device but that's not sufficient.

Feature request, option to change the chroma of the center of the color wheel, instead of white

It currently appears in white because of how or eye sees things, and monitors, RGB. It would be great to extend kuller to be used like painting pigments, with a neutral gray, and\or black at the center of the color wheel instead of going to white, as paintings would do on paper, extending kuler usefulness even more.

IPhone music app feature request - how to change song title on iPhone music

how about adding the ability to edit object information on the iPhone music library.
When I find incorrect/missing info for song or album data when using iPhone I cannot edit to correct it. I have to this on my (desktop based) iTunes database. Poo!

Feature Request: Shortcut files to web pages should show the website's favicon

If I'm viewing a website, and I drag it's favicon in the address bar onto the desktop, then a shortcut is created to the website. But, the shortcut always has the generic "@" icon. The feature request is to change the icon to include the favicon which I dragged, so for example, if I drag the Apple favicon, I would end up with a shortcut which looks like a document with the Apple logo on it.

EPrint Portal Feature Request - Discarded Messages Email Address

When a user has the ePrint Center site configured to only allow printing from allowed email addresses, the site displays emails that have been discarded because they are not on the approved sender list.
Feature Request:
Please consider changing the listing of discarded messages to include the sender's email address in addition to the subject you already show. Even better, have an option to click on the email address to add it to the approved senders list.
While one might wonder how you wouldn't know the sender's address, in my case, my wife would send recipes from a recipe site and they would be blocked. To get around this (other than turning off the address list feature), we can send them first to our own email address to find the sending email but what I mentioned would simplify things. Users' technology patience can vary and while I am quite patient for the sake of technology and gadgetry my wife is less patient which, in this case, led to her abandoning the feature.

Good news.
To the top right is a link that says View Job History.
Click on this link and it will show the e-mail address.
I confirmed this by logging into my eprintcenter.com account, changing to allowed senders only and then sent an e-mail from a blocked e-mail address.
The short summary did not show the e-mail address, but the full history did show the specific e-mail address.
You can then copy and paste this e-mail address into your list.
Additionally, changing from allowed to everyone and then back will re-add all recent e-mail addresses that successfully printed though it won't add anything that hasn't recently printed.

Feature Request or another way of setting an Affiliate up or External Affiliate Software

One of the biggest problems with the Affiliate module, is its persistence
Feature Request -
Using Affiliates to market products and services is a huge business, but the BC system only caters for affiliates providing a link to a specific product (or possible the shop) and it only works if they follow that link and buy right there and then.
Even if the customers buys something under the affiliate link, if the customer returns to the shop a second time, without using the link, then any affiliate reference is lost. There is no persistence nor any link stored between the affiliate and customer.
Therefore the affiliate program does not work for any business that may use affiliates but does not use a Shopping cart. For example I am working on a Property site where professionals may refer clients to buy property, and receive a referral/affiliate fee. We need to track which customers are linked to a referrer/affiliate but there is no shop involved, although we would like to put the commission through as a manual order and track commission payments.
Suggestion: When a Customers uses an affiliate link to enter their details (or buy something from a shop for that matter), then the affiliate is stored permanently on the customer’s record, and can be used for subsequent purchases/orders.
This means that if the customer returns to the shop directly and buys something, then the system can use the stored affiliate link to make sure the affiliate gets paid.
Secondly other business can now add an Order Manually for the client, and the affiliate will get paid. This will open up BC to other businesses that use affiliate systems without a shopping cart. Especially useful for the Services industry.
I also think by doing this BC can remove the problem of requiring a seamless gateway.
Another Way?
Any feature request like this may take time to be set up, if it is set up at all.
Can anyone advise if they have managed to get around the problem and how. Thanks

That is correct: SLBL only works on SMTP addresses.
If I understand correctly, the user wants to prune thier Block List by removing addresses that are not actively sending spam. This is not easy, but it is something that the user can do themselves:
The user can log directly into the Spam Quarantine to see what mail has been stopped on thier behalf recently. They would then access their SLBL through the Spam Quarntine to see what addresses they have configured for Blocking. For each address listed, they would Search their Spam Quarntine for emails from that address. They would then review the content of those emails to determine if they stilll want to block the specific address or not.

I send program change messages from my midi controller and the messages are accepted by mainstage 3 as shown in the midi message window,but i can't make a selection of my pathes even if i have set a program change number for each patch.Why is that happening?
I use a novation SL mki or a KORG Triton Le or a m-audio axiom 49 as midi controllers.The program change messages are transmitted by all the devices i mentioned above and shown as received in the midi messages window of mainstage 3.
Has anyone the same experience?

How to send patch level program changes from concert level instruments?

Here's the gist of my setup:
I have two concert level external instrument channel strips (Nord Electro 3 and Prophet 8 module). I am attempting to change the bank on the Electro 3 on a per patch basis. It seems as if the concert level nature of the channel strip is overriding my ability to change on a per patch basis. I am sending out a program change on a certain patch, and it is being reflected in all of the other patches across the concert (this is expected behaviour from reading the manual).
I've been looking for a way to manually send the program changes on a per patch basis (for these concert level strips), using some sort variation of the override parent setting, but I've been unsuccessful at finding a method for doing this. Is it even possible?
The behaviour I'm looking to replicate is easily accomplished by manually creating the external instrument channel strip in each of the patches, and then sending out the appropriate program change message. This isn't a problem to do. It is, however, a tad bit cumbersome and sort of defeates the purpose (in my opinion) of having concert level channel strips.
Any wisdom would be appreciated.

As far as I know the only way to send program changes is to create channel strips in every patch. I don't use concert level channel strips for that reason.
One of the advancements is that you can level your external instrument on patch level.
Tip: create one patch with the channel strips you need and duplicate that one (CMD-D) to create new patches. Works faster for me.

PCR-500 program change assign Mainstage 3 help

I want to start using Mainstage 3 as part of my live synth setup.
I'm mainly using 'non mainstage' soft synths (TAL UNO 106/ Arturia prophet). Anyway, i'm trying to assign program change to buttons on my controller. eg A1-JUNO ORGAN A2..JUNO LEAD A3 PROPHET etc.
After assigning the the program changes to each button. If I then press the assigned button,..the preset will be there until i press it again. it will then jump and change the synth to the first default preset (whatever preset begins with the letter A)
I don't seem to have this problem with the included Mainstage synths though. I don't have any problems with midi assigning in Kontakt using the PCR editor, granted i don;t use 'external' synths in Kontakt.
Anyone have any ideas?

As long as you have correctlt assigned MIDI Program Change numbers to each Patch in MS, this ishould work correctly

This sounds like the incoming Prgram Message is being treates as "unused" when you have already selected the MS Patch corresponding to that Program number.
There is a function in MS 3 to allow"unused" program messages to be passed through to the plugins: try turning it off.
Select the Concert at the top of the Patch List, and at the bottom of the Attributes Tab in the Concert Inspector you will see it:

Feature request - 'shadow' settings for changing locked VM settings

I have a possible idea for you that I know I would find helpful. I understand that certain VM settings can't be changed while the VM is running. I would love to be able to make the change so that next time the VM restarts, it can first have those settings
changed for me before starting up again. That way, I could make the change (although it would tell me it couldn't be changed right now), and schedule the computer to restart sometime overnight, so that I don't have to either a) get up at 3am to do it manually
or b)work out what powershell command to run which would shut the machine down, make the changes, then start it up again - and hope that I'd done it correctly :-)

I like that as a feature for those who manage via GUI. It would be possible to create script to accomplish the same thing and then schedule the script for execution later. But for GUI users, it makes sense to me.
I think the forums would be a good place for putting feature suggestions. It could easily be a Sticky post that would always appear at the top of the forum. Anyone with an idea for a new feature could add a post to the Stickey post, and
Microsoft PM's could just read that Sticky post from time to time. And, the built in Vote capability would allow other forum readers/contributors the ability to vote on it if they like it. It would be a useful Sticky post on any product forum.

[Feature request] Changing the y-limit directly in a graph

Hi,
in the GUI, when using graphs, you can usually click on the ymin and ymax and change the values. This is not possible if LV decides to change which ticks on the axes are labeled.
It would be nice if the behaviour was consistent.

Feature request: Add "Cancel" button to the close program / backup actions pop up window

Please add a way to cancel out of an unintended close of LR4. I cannot count how many times I have thought of something else I needed to do or wanted to try, only to have to totally restart the program to complete the action. If I prematurely exit the program I would like a way to get back in without having to totally close out and restart. LR3 suffers from the identical coding/programming oversight. Thanks.

Ok, so I did not see this feature request for LR4 but was able to find a few references for it under LR3 (which I apparently missed before posting this request). Is this simple request really that difficult a programming feat?
