Feature Request : Side by Side apps running in 2 windows.

Having 2/more apps running side by side. Should have a view&use of running apps in a window view. This feature will enable to chat with some one and may be compose a mail or play a game or check a news article.
Isn't it useful? May be in next iOs5 ..?

Feature request: Remove/hide small apps

Hi, hopefully there's some way to forward this along to the xperia android dev team! I'm sure that some people find the small apps feature useful, but I do find it to be in the way, especially since the lollipop update, where the app cards have become larger and a search bar has been added to the task switcher screen, putting vertical space at more of a premium. Also you can see the transparent menu bar car be quite useful, but is blacked out on xperia software, I've added a comparison with normal lollipop software in the left. So an option to disable the small apps feature would make this page a lot more useful, I would hope it will be included in a future update.

How do I have two apps running side by side i.e. calculator

How can i have x2 apps running side by side ie notebook & calculator without going back & forth.
I have tried several browser type apps but these have not been very succesfull.
My daughters samsung does this no problem at all.
Does anyone no why it seems so hard to acheive especially after all the updates ect since launch.
Probably going to go down samsung route.

As for the rest of us, we did understand. Kappy answered correctly that it could not be done. Its jus not something iOS is programmed to do.
We then gave some alternatives. no one suggested it was what the OP wanted to do. Just something that could be done to approximate the requirement.
If that doesn't work for you, then there's nothing else that can be done.

There's nothing wrong with buying a different product that fits your needs more than an iPad.
Its like tryng to take a Sedan offroad. Was it built to do that? No. Can it, probably limitedly but the experience is not going to be very pleasant. Buy an Offroad vehicle and you can go offroad just fine. You don't whine because the sedan can't do it. You get something that can.

AFAIK, there's no app that'll clone the Mac and PC volumes so you can restore them. System Image Utility.app or Deploy Studio for Mac and Ghost for PC are needed. See these for starters:

My Macbook Pro has a black screen when running in Bootcamp Windows 7. Since I updated the mac side my windows side now starts up with completely black screen - no prompt, nothing, Cap keys still light up as does mouse and DVD drive seems to run.

I suspect the Mac update wiped out my PC video drivers but can not think of a way to re-install?

Specifically, the posts by Dunsany and valkyr did the trick. I booted in safe mode, uninstalled and deleted the Nvidia driver, disabled automatic driver installation, and restarted normally. I then manually downloaded and installed the previous Nvidia driver for my graphics card (which at the time of this writing was 335.23, rather than the latest which was 337.88), and everything is now bueno!
Two hiccoughs along the way: First, when I tried to uninstall the Nvidia driver the first time, when I restarted I got the login screen (which was a good sign), but it quickly went black again. I powered down, restarted in safe mode again, and repeated the uninstallation process, and it worked the second time. Second, when I started the manual install of the 335.23 driver, the computer played a sound similar to the one for disconnecting a USB device, and the screen went black. I'd seen a lot about trying to increase the brightness (though it hadn't worked up to this point; but if you haven't tried it yet, might as well); I tried it, and it worked! So far I'm back up and running. [/fingers crossed]

I have a feature request which I think will benefit iOS app developers as much as it would benefit your customers.
Any customer that has more than a handful of apps will eventually forget what some of those apps do or what makes them unique. For instance, I had not used the wonderful hotel finder, Oyster, in over a year. I not only forgot I had it, I also forgot how Oyster's service was different than other hotel finders. I had to refamiliarize myself with the app. Sometimes, this requires returning to the App Store to read the product description again.
It would be helpful if every app had an About button that would present the product description, summarizing the app's purpose and what differentiates it from similar apps without going into the details of how to use it.

Apple discourages the use of About or Help buttons.

Our iPads work just fine behind a firewall and the Lightspeed filtering solution in an education environment. If your proxy solution cannot be configured to support IOS maybe you should be looking at another vendor. Products such as 8e6 and Lightspeed can be deployed without the use of a traditional proxy set up.

Sounds like a Windows issue. Google the error message. There are several discussions on the Microsoft forums listed that may help.

Feature Request: Uninstall App

I don't see a way to uninstall a recently installed app, does this mean we just drag-n-drop?
I'm making a feature request for the ability to uninstall, or an explanation of how to uninstall otherwise.

f you want to report this issue to Apple's engineering, send a bug report or an enhancement request via its Bug Reporter system. To do this, join the Mac Developer Program—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report or enhancement request. The nice thing with this procedure is that you get a response and a follow-up number; thus, starting a dialog with engineering.

Feature Request: Allow Apps to Access Apple ID User Address

This is a feature request for new iOS functionality
If iOS gave permission for apps to access the home or billing address a user has defined when setting up their Apple ID, then I believe the app can use this address to automatically set up the shipping of a purchased item for example. This would enable apps to sell physical goods, paid for by the user's Apple ID and set up for shipping to his Apple ID address, instantly.
I believe couriers already have SDKs that allow apps to programatically register the pickup and shipment of an item.
Users can then be able to manage their addresses in iOS/iCloud.

This will never happen because of the obvious security implications.

Attaching OWSM policy to only request side

I am using OSB11gr1 with OWSM extended domain. Is there a way to attach OWSM policy to only request side?
I am using wss11_x509_token_with_message_protection_client_policy. Can I override this policy somehow to disable message protection on the response side. I looked into policy editor in OEM, there are ways to disable signing/encrypting body/header but not found any way to disable the message protection policy on response side completely
Please suggest

You can attach Oracle Web Services Manager policies only at the service level, and you cannot embed them in service WSDLs.

You should be able to get the CS3 programs installed and running on the new pc since CS3 is spec-ed for Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Downloading the programs does not require a serial number. You can find them here: Download CS3 products but you will need the serial number to activate the programs. You might be able to find that thru your Adobe account online.
You will not be able to install the CS5 Mac version on a PC and you won't be able to trade it to a PC version either due to it being an older version. Trades are allowed only for the latest version (CS6)

Feature Request: Setting App page title to something other than "Eloqua 10"

Hello everyone,
Long-time lurker, first-time poster. As someone who has been using Eloqua for over 3 years, when working in the application, I will usually end up with upwards of half-a-dozen tabs open in Firefox, all of which say "Eloqua 10". Because of this, I'll usually try to strategically organize my tabs, but often times I end up having to click through multiple tabs to find the one I'm looking for, which can sometimes lead to Firefox freezing. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
So to alleviate this, I'd like to make the following feature request: Can we have the tabs/windows named by Asset Type & Asset Name? Perhaps in the following Format:
[Asset Type]: [Asset Name] - Eloqua 10
Note how I have "Eloqua 10" at the end of the string. An example of a title would be: "Campaigns: Nurture_Campaign_1 - Eloqua 10"
Could this please be implemented?
