Feature request: Transfer call to another device

It would be nice to be able to transfer a call to another device by pressing a button and maybe an option to select a device but if not it just rings all logged in devices.

I would agree wiith Jaime, just configure the desired caller input in the user mailbox option by going toi edit---caller input.
In their you can either setup to transfer the call to another user with mailbox and select the option of "Go directly to greetings"
Or if you want the call transferred to a number either to the PSTN or a user who does not have an mailbox in unity connection, in order to do that, just select the option of Call Action and select "Transfer to alternate contact number". And put in the number as well as select the transfer type which plays a vital role in either sending a supervised transfer or an release to switch(which is not a supervised one, meaning it would send the call directly to the users phone without even making sure if the user is available or busy or if the phone is unregistered.

Depending on your carrier, you may be able to see recent calls by logging into your account on the carrier's web site, if they offer such a feature, though incoming calls being shown is not usual. There will, as diesel said, be no way to see messages already received, either SMS/MMS or iMessages, without having the phone.

Feature request: record calls and messages on iPhone

I'm trying to generate interest for some features I think should be introduced. What do you think of this one...
The iPhone should be able to record calls and messages to save as an audio file on your computer. Aside from providing the ability to keep a personal archive of important or meaningful calls and messages, this introduces another revolutionary new feature:
Imagine if every call you made on your phone was recorded automatically, so you could review what someone said even after hanging up the phone. Each call could be saved in a temporary location, and recordings could be saved permanently by clicking "Save" on the corresponding entry in the call log. This way, you wouldn't ever have to worry about forgetting what someone said, and you can forever save the memorable phone calls that impact your life. This feature would also be extremely useful for recording phone interviews for later review and transcription.
This feature would likely be relatively easy to adopt, and would certainly be a revolutionary addition to a revolutionary device.

I want to work on a photo book on home, work, or ipad computers. How do I save a book or transfer it to another device?

I make photo books from collections of pictures using iPhoto and then order them from the Apple store. Sometimes I don't finish them on one of the computers I regularly use (macbook pro, iMac, iPad) and would like to save the partly finished book on a disk or thumb drive so I can transfer it to one of the other devices to continue working on it. It is easy to transfer all of the pictures, but I see no way to save a book, burn it to a CD or DVD, or transfer it over a network. You can delet the book or convert it to pdf or slideshow, but all I want to do is finish working on it before I order the book.

Either transfer the entire library to the MacBook Pro and work on it there or try the method described in this tutorial to reduce the size of a copy of the library to just the pictures in the book (and those you think you might want to use) and use that on the MPB: #9a - Archiving an iPhoto 7(08)/8(09)/9(11) Book for Editing and/or Ordering at a Later Date

Nokia 301 Feature Request: Missed calls/messages n...

Hi,
I just bought a Nokia 301 dual sim phone. I'm satisfied with it except one thing - IT DOESN"T HAVE MISSED CALLS/MESSAGES NOTIFICATION. How come such important and basic function not implemented? No one will check his phone regularly and there is no way to know wether I have missed calls or messages. It should keep making a beep until I read it. I believe this function could be implemented easily in software, even by polling the status at a constant interval or setting up a counter which issues interrupts. Any Nokia staff can answer this questtion?

This is a feature which the majority of phone users do not want, and that's why Nokia phones have not done it since the early 2000s when Nokia phones used to beep the morse code for SMS.
There are two primary reasons why a person might not read a message at the time it comes in:
He didn't hear it, maybe he was in a noisy place and didn't hear or maybe the phone is in a different room.
He heard it but was prevented from reacting by other circumstances.
If you are away from your phone, there are visual cues when you get back to it that a message has come in. If you are walking down a busy street with your phone in your pocket, there is also in the vast majority of phones a vibrate option to give an alternative kind of notification. If you are driving a car responsibly on a journey of some length, it would becoming annoying after a while if your phone was beeping in your briefcase in the back of the car, or if you leave your phone on your desk at the office whilst you are elsewhere, the repeated beeping could be just as annoying to other people.

I have just purchased a new ipad for my wife. On my ipad we purchased education apps for her to use , I have placed the apps on her ipad but when we open her itunes account to sync apps the computer will remove these apps and only leave her existing apps. How do I get around this problem. I have already paid for these apps and have not exceeded my number of devices. Glenn

Can I switch a Factime call from one device to another?

I would like to know if there is a way to pick up a Facetime call on one device and then switch it mid-call to another device, in the same way one is able to put down one extension and pick up another in mid-call to transfer it to another handset on a landline?

What Encrytion does your Router/Modem use?
This might mean your Mac is set to a Static/Manual IP instead of using DHCP to request an IP, or another device is starting up with a Static IP & kicking your Mac off the Router.
If this is Wifi/Airport with little or no encryption,it could be somebody outside causing it.

Correct, but if you have your apps and app settings set to sync with your Google Account, they should have the data with them.

Cannot transfer rental movie to ipad, itunes thinks it is already transferred to another device

Hi,
Hopefully this is pretty straightforward. I downloaded a movie rental from iTunes store. When I attempted to move to my iPad (via manual sync) I got an error along the lines of the following: 'Cannot transfer movie rental as it is already transferred to another device'. I have rented movies multiple times from the iTunes store and did not encounter this issue. My laptop is authorized (I double checked). Correct me if I am wrong but if the rental appears in the iTunes library then technically it is not transferred.

I have purchased but never rented movies but from what I have read, your assumption is correct. Once you move the rental to an iDevice it should disappear from iTunes.
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod touch (4th generation), or Apple TV). Feature Request or another way of setting an Affiliate up or External Affiliate Software

One of the biggest problems with the Affiliate module, is its persistence
Feature Request -
Using Affiliates to market products and services is a huge business, but the BC system only caters for affiliates providing a link to a specific product (or possible the shop) and it only works if they follow that link and buy right there and then.
Even if the customers buys something under the affiliate link, if the customer returns to the shop a second time, without using the link, then any affiliate reference is lost. There is no persistence nor any link stored between the affiliate and customer.
Therefore the affiliate program does not work for any business that may use affiliates but does not use a Shopping cart. For example I am working on a Property site where professionals may refer clients to buy property, and receive a referral/affiliate fee. We need to track which customers are linked to a referrer/affiliate but there is no shop involved, although we would like to put the commission through as a manual order and track commission payments.
Suggestion: When a Customers uses an affiliate link to enter their details (or buy something from a shop for that matter), then the affiliate is stored permanently on the customer’s record, and can be used for subsequent purchases/orders.
This means that if the customer returns to the shop directly and buys something, then the system can use the stored affiliate link to make sure the affiliate gets paid.
Secondly other business can now add an Order Manually for the client, and the affiliate will get paid. This will open up BC to other businesses that use affiliate systems without a shopping cart. Especially useful for the Services industry.
I also think by doing this BC can remove the problem of requiring a seamless gateway.
Another Way?
Any feature request like this may take time to be set up, if it is set up at all.
Can anyone advise if they have managed to get around the problem and how. Thanks

That is correct: SLBL only works on SMTP addresses.
If I understand correctly, the user wants to prune thier Block List by removing addresses that are not actively sending spam. This is not easy, but it is something that the user can do themselves:
The user can log directly into the Spam Quarantine to see what mail has been stopped on thier behalf recently. They would then access their SLBL through the Spam Quarntine to see what addresses they have configured for Blocking. For each address listed, they would Search their Spam Quarntine for emails from that address. They would then review the content of those emails to determine if they stilll want to block the specific address or not.
