How to Re-import model in webdynpro in NWDS 7.1 EHP1 version

Hi All,
We have webdynpro DC in NWDS 7.1 EHP1 version, we are trying to re-import the model which already exists in DC. actually in the BAPI ABAP people is added new field in the BAPI structure then we are trying to incorporate the same changes in webdynpro to reflect the new field in model through the Re-import model.
But when we right click on model and then selected the re-import then it is not happening any thing in studio its a kind of new action, but ideally in general it should open the new window where the SAP r/3 credentials should be given to re-import the model. In our case nothing is happening after we right click on the model on selection of "Re-import" model.
Please let me know what is the issue we have?, do we have any issue with our studio NWDS 7.1 EHP1 version? or should we follow any other procedure to re-import model in NWDS 7.1 EHP1 version.
In other versions of studio like earlier versions we were able to re-import the model thru re-import the model by right click on model. but the current version of studio NWDS 7.1 EHP1 should have problem for re-importing the model.

Hi,
1.Its Simple way. Just Right click on your Model--- Choose Re-Import. Then choose your RFCu2026Click on Finish
2. while re import the RFC u will get some error. By cache invalidation and Re Start the J2EE Engine Server you can solve the problem.
After Re-Import the model you can do cache invalidation
There is a need to restart the portal system to clear the cache. Once its done your application would work fine.
Another thing that you can try to clear the cache is
1. Go to link http://<servername> : <portname> /webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwdtools/WebDynproConsole
2. Click on the last link in detail navigation "Invalidation of ARFC Metadata Cache"
3. From "Adaptive RFC Metadata Cache Invalidation " tray, choose the JCO that you are using
4. From " Dictionaries Cache Invalidation" tray, choose the dictionary(model) whose cache you want to clear.
The above option saves time but in case it doesnu2019t work, you can go in for Portal restart. It would surely work.

GPU basic features stop working after updating from version 13.0 to Photoshop version 13.1

My Basic GPU features were working flawless with Photoshop version 13.0 After I update to version 13.1 for CC members all my GPU features stop working. Is there a form to set my Photosop version 13.1 in order to use my GPU features or there is a huge difference between versions that doesn't allow me to use the GPU features? Note: I Already update my graphics card driver

Please double-check the exact version as displayed in the About box. The new release is an entirely separate version referred to CC 2014.0; it is not merely an update to CC7. That means that if you launch CC7.2.2 and go Help>Updates, it will report that the program is up to date.
If you're on CC7.2.2, then the easiest way to install CC2014.0 is to launch the Creative Cloud app and scroll down the Apps tab looking for "Premiere Pro CC (2014)."
Note that once CC2014 is installed, you will need to use a new app icon to launch it; the old icon will continue to launch CC7.

Checking EHP version

Hello,
I know, there is a lot of questions about checking EHP version of SAP installation on this forum. I tried to discover version of one of my systems, but I've got some troubles :-\
This problematic SAP installation consists of:
SAP_BASIS: version 701
SAP_APPL: version 604
SAP_HR: version 600
EA-IPPE: version 400
most of HR-*** modules: version 600
Is it a normal situation to have several different versions on one system?
Is there a module, which can determine whole system EHP version?

How do I find out what "new" features, if any, are in incremental version updates to CC?

In olden days, Adobe would tell you what was fixed and what was added to new micro-versions of a product. I've noticed now that when I get an update to Photoshop or Bridge, it can be over 100mb but nowhere does it say what the update is for like new features, bug fixes, etc. Does anyone know if there is a version changelog or anything similar that explains what each new incremental update does or fixes? Since we are paying now for our Photoshop and new implementations are supposed to be included (thus no more major new versions), I'd like to know what these new incremental updates actually do and what new and wonderous things Adobe has come up with. Anyone know??

In yahoo mail, I cannot use the instant message or SMS features after upgrading to the latest version of fire fox.

I'm unable to use the Instant message or SMS features within my yahoo email account. I've tried re-installing a new version of fire fox- ( had to use internet explorer to get online , I am able to use all of yahoos features including email messenger in internet explorer but I prefer fire fox) - still re installing fire fox did not solve the problem.

It has been solved in Firefox 10 which is due for release in the next few days. In the meantime you can also try Firefox 10 beta: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/

NWDS imports wrong DC Version

Hello,
for this problem i have altready an OSS message open, but maybe someone has a solution for this problem, because we are a bit in hurry. My whole JDI and NWDS is SPS14.
I created External Library DC`s (EXTLIBS) and connected this track to another (CBSMC). I hav now two updates of EXTLIBS and changed the Update version in assembly stage from 0->1 and 1->2.
Current version is "br.com_EXTLIBS 1.0 Level 2 Update".
I imported this version to the connected track.
In the Buildspace in CBS i can see the correct version (different puplic parts) in CBSMC_D.
I import the develpopment configuration into my NWDS, look at the Active DC`s and there is still the old version of EXTLIBS "br.com_EXTLIBS 1.0 Level 0 Update" available.
When i inmported the new version into the track, i got the DC`s signed as "Synced as archive (active), but outdated".
Even after resyncing (Sync used DC`s) it showed me version Update 0 in my NWDS.
For testing i created a new SC and imported only the latest version "br.com_EXTLIBS 1.0 Level 2 Update" into its track. When loading this Dev Conf in my NWDS even here i get the old version "br.com_EXTLIBS 1.0 Level 0 Update".
Is there anything i`m missing?

the issue could altready be solved from SAP.
The problem had originated from assembly in cons.
The SCA, produced by the assembly was inconsistent, the DC
archives contained each 1 PP file, but 2 PPAs. CBS, when displays public parts, means PPAs
and IDE is based on *.PP files.

NWDS CE 7.2 version for NW SP 7.20.3710

Hello All,
What is the latest recommended version for NWDS if my system runs on Netweaver 7.20.3710?
I see versions for NWDS in SP05 patch level 0005 or SP04 PAT00020, but really doesn't know how to determinate what is the correct version.

Feature Request: Offer to uninstall old versions

Not sure how I ended up like this but using CC I ended up with multiple version of software. Not just 64bit vs. 32bit version. But InDesign CS6, CC, and CC(2014).
It'd be great to opt-in to just automagically uninstall all other versions if you're cool with only using latest and greatest as I am.

Nope! Any previous versions of Adobe applications you have installed before downloading CS6 apps from Creative Cloud will continue to function normally alongside the new apps

The most noted changes are cosmetic - tabs at the bottom of the bar rather than the top and new page load indicator. Also, the RSS indicator is a silver color rather than blue. Have a look at this MacWorld article:

Problem with Mappings in the new Version of NWDS

Hello all,
i have a process which created in the NWDS (Version: SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1 SP00 PAT0000) checked in the CVS.
Now i have the process checked out of the CVS in the new Version of NWDS (Version: SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.1 SP01 PAT0003).
The process contains a automated activity and on the output mapping from the webservice is now n error. The Error: "Expected 'com.sap.dictionary.string,ns=.... Found list of 'char10,ns=..." I´ve changed nothing and the input mapping and the other mappings are all right. I checked out again the same process in the "old" Version of NWDS and it works fine.
Knows somebody how i can "import" n process from an older Version of NWDS into the new Version?

Hi Bastian,
The problem you are facing is a trivial problem. You need not worry about the importing the whole development component again. Rather your mapping error can be removed by changing the context in webdynpro perspective easily.
Your error is telling that the automated activity requires a string paramenter and what it has found is a list of parameters.
What this means is in the Webdynpro context, the mapping which you have done has problems.
The webservice input requires a singleton parameter. If you look into the mapping view, you will notice a single icon for the node which you are mapping.
And what you are sending is a list (not a singletion node)
If you see from the left side from where the parameters is coming in you will notice multiple icons (stack on top of each other) representing non singleton nodes ie cardinatlity is 0...n or 1..n)
So to remove the problem just go to component controller of the view and change the context setting
Colletion cardinality of 0..1 or 1..1 and selection cardinality to 0..1 or 1..1 of the node.

In the previous versions of Firefox when you went to you Bookmarks menu it gave you the options to either Bookmark This Page 'command' + 'D', Subscribe to this Page, Bookmark All Tabs 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'D', and Organize Bookmarks 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'B' however in the newest version of Firefox there is no Bookmark All Tabs so you can bookmark all the tabs that you have up in one window at a time. So I need to know if it is possible that the feature is now in a different place, is gone altogether, or if you can get that feature another way?
For me personally and my work I go through hundreds of web pages a day and save around half of those so it is imperative that I be able to bookmark more then one tab at a time because I can't be bothered to bookmark every single page separately and then go through hundreds of tabs in my Unsorted bookmarks in order to sort those bookmarks. It is simple inconvenient to sort every bookmark individually that is why the previous version of Firefox with the Bookmark All Tabs button was superior in its convenience.

Right click any tab and choose "Bookmark All Tabs".
