I Created a power view in Excel 2013 and uploaded to my Power BI for o365 site.
But when i click on my excel file it opens in browser,After that i click on File tab its showing me two option
1. Save a Copy
2.Download a copy
When i click on save a copy its showing me an warning below
Features that are not supported by Excel in the browser and interactive reports will be removed from the saved copy.
Continue with Save?
If i continue saving it only saves an excel files with data only not the power view which i want to save with applied filters.
Please help me for this

Just to clarify, when you hit the option of Save As Copy, the whole experience goes into a "read-write" mode in Excel services, which currently doesn't support authoring, just consumption of PowerView sheets.
Two mitigations that come to mind:
1. Download the copy (as Brad suggests), rename the file and upload.
2. Use the send to option of SharePoint online, give the file the right target document library (can be the same as source) and rename the file:

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro to create a FORM and then I
submit the form to Acrobat.com. The problem is that when users
follow the emailed link to acrobat.com, they can't enter data into
the form on the website. They have to download it into their local
reader to fill out the form.
This is the actual error message I get:
"This PDF file has additional features that are only
supported in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader"
What am I missing here? I'm creating a form, in Adobe
Acrobat, that just has a few text fields and couple of checkboxes
on it - that's all there is to it.
Can someone tell me what the unsupported "additional
features" are so that I can disable them before submitting the
document to Acrobat.com?

thanks for posting.
It does not look like you are missing anything really....The
workflow that you've laid out is the proper workflow for working
with Forms and Acrobat9/Acrobat.com.
You cannot edit the pdfs using acrobat.com. Each user will
need to download it, and definitely need to if they want to input
data to it.
Once they then submit their file, you should then see the
updates.

I have some folders in iPhoto called 'Recovered Folder'. When I try to delete them I get this message: "one or more of the items in your selection contains Aperture albums that are not supported in iphoto".
I don't use Aperture (did install it to try it out), and have deleted Aperture App from my Mac.
How can I get rid of these fodlers?

i finally figured this out:
fyi, iphoto and aperture can now share (i.e., access) the same library. apple details it here:

i use both iphoto and aperture, and i suspect something went amiss, at some point, while aperture was accessing my iphoto library.
this is how i fixed the problem:
i launched aperture, then (per the instructions linked above) switched to (i.e., accessed) my iphoto library. i was then able to delete the "recovered folder" and the album it contained. i then quit aperture and relaunched iphoto.
NOTE: at that time, although i expected the "recovered folder" to be gone, it was still present. but this time, i was able to delete the folder from within iphoto without the "contains aperture items" error message.
(Sparky030405, i realize you've since deleted aperture. while i can't say my method is the *only* way to solve this problem, it's the way i was able to solve it. so, you might consider reinstalling aperture in order to delete the folder, then uninstalling aperture, once again.)

You can use a download instead of the disk as an alternative: Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe you can license with your serial
Please test the disk in another windows machine to check if it's caused by the drive or the disk. If you tested with 2 drives please start a support case, i assume Adobe will only provide downloads at this point. They are the same as the trials. If you still need a disk you can burn the trial to a disk as a backup disk. Good luck!

Not in the US, at the present time. Apple has not started selling officially unlocked iPhone 5's in the US, & has not announced when they will.

Identify special characters that are not supported by an embeded font

I'm useing embeded fonts as CFF in my flex 4.5.1 application and I have problems with the special charcters like Ă, Â, Î, Ș, Ț or arabic text, that are not included in my embeded font. This are displayed in my RichEditableTect component useing the default font (Arial).
Is there any way to block the user when he tries to add such characters?
Or can I identify them before saveing , in order to format the text like <Text Font="ExoticFont"...>Hello<Text font-family="Arial">ë</Text></Text> ?

I think you want to use Font.hasGlyphs. If you are using the @font-face directive it is hard to get to the Font class so you may wish to switch to using the directive.

First, try a reset to see if that clears it up:
Hold down the home button and the power button together until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears, then let go of the buttons. This will not cause any data loss and is like a reboot for your phone.

You did the wrong things. In the future it's a good idea to remember not to do something when you don't know what you are doing and what happens when you do it.

I recently updated to ios 7.1 and had to delete albums that are stored in my iCloud. Now when I try to download those albums from the cloud, nothing happens. I can't even stream the music from the cloud.

I would like to add that music back to my library but unfortunately the icloud won't allow me to do that. I even tried transferring it from my macbook to my iphone with no luck. I have restarted my iphone multiple times with no luck. It is not a case of the music being out of date considering I bought one of the albums a week ago.

Allow me to clarify -- What I want to do is make sure ALL the photos on the IPhone, including the ones NOT in the DCIM directory are all on the PC. Then I want to delete them from the iPhone to create space.

I have gif animated images that are not showing up in my web page when I am view in Firefox. The images are fine in IE. I would like to tell all of our clients to use FireFox but with this issue I can't recommend firefox. Please let me know what I can do.

I am using a word document, converting to html and I am not seeing my animated image.No problem in IE 9 and I wouldn't think it would be a problem in Firefox.

Am working on a webpage with some animated gifs in it. Everything works fine when it is loaded up, the images display and animate continuously. But these gifs may be updated on the server. I have some javascript that checks if the gifs have been updated by checking the modified meta data. If it has that image is reloaded. this works fine and the new image is brought up but that animation is never started. it just sits there on the first frame.

Apps are not giving me a "set up" tab and I don't see "apps" on the printer screen

I have tried to install several apps on my printer. It says "added" but does not give me a "set up" tab. I finally found one that would, and when I tried to set it up I could not find how to access the "apps" on my printer.

What printer do you have?
Only some apps will have a setup option, those that may need a zip code or other info to give you a customized experience...most apps do not require any setup to use.
When you go to your printer front panel, if you're on a Photosmart device, you'll either have an "Apps" icon o the main screen, which you select to see the avaialble apps, or you'll see a horizontal ribbon of apps that you can select from directly.
Again, if you post what model printer you have that will help - is it a D110a, B110a, or D410 Envy, or ?

if you cant remember the password of your back-up encryption, you can't back it up

Open the Time Machine pane in System Preferences. If it shows that Time Machine is ON, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner, if necessary, to unlock it. Scroll to the bottom of the list of backup drives and click Add or Remove Backup Disk. Remove all the disks, then add them back. Quit System Preferences. Test.
