Federal Tax Rules - Multiple Percentage Check box

Does anyone know what the Multiple Percentage Check Box is for on the Federal Tax Rules Form? What is the rule for using it? In all examples seen, it is checked, but why is it there? Any help would be appreciated. We can find nothing in documentation. If you can e-mail any help to [email protected] Thanks very much

Since the checkboxes all have the same name, the values are over-writing each other when being passed to the PHP script. The best way to fix that is to add a pair of empty square [] brackets after the checkbox names, so make the names "graphics[]" instead of "graphics". That tells PHP that the values are being passed as a list (an array) instead of a single value. As long as your processing script knows what to do from there (and it does), should solve the problem.
By the way, I noticed that two of the checkboxes were named "graphics" and the other was "graphic" (singular). You'll want to fix that too so they're all the same.

How to Save the multiple selection check box values into the database

i have the multiple selection check box implemented in UI through drop down list,i can choose the desired values from the drop down through checkbox, but i m unable to store these values and commit the values into the database all at a time.

Unable to check multiple use check box for BADI

Hi,
In ECC 6.0, when I am trying to activate the multiple use check box ( For multiple implementation of BADI ) , it is not allowed me the same.
Throwing the error as - interface IF_EX_TAX1_XTXIT_SET can not be used.
BADI name - BADI_TAX1_XTXIT_SET
Can anyone pls help me how to do this.

I am also in ECC6.0 & if i see the definition of the BAdI BADI_TAX1_XTXIT_SET, "Multiple Use" checkbox is checked! What are you trying to do - trying to create an implementation?
@Prabhu: Although the BAdI is "multiple-use", but there is not filter applied to it. Next time do your checks properly before replying

Multiple Selection Check Box

Hi
I want to allow the user to select multiple items via a checkbox displayed as LOV.
I've managed to display all the LOV entries as check boxes just by selecting a LOV but it only stores one of the items I've selected in that LOV.
I need a checkbox system that stores data like a shuttle control, i.e. 1:2:4:9 etc
Is this possible without using Add-on JavaScript library's?

How can I create multiple selection check boxes in a report row?

Hello,
I'd like to know how a multiple selection checkbox can be created in report rows. In brief, I need to create a questionnaire template and each one of the questions will have multple options checkboxes, that means that the user can select more than one of the answers.
Should I use apex_item.checkbox ?. I have no clue here.
Please advice.

Fed Tax Rules API - pay_federal_tax_rule_api.update_fed_tax_rule failing

Hi,
I am trying to update the federal tax rules for all employees by using pay_federal_tax_rule_api.update_fed_tax_rule, but it is failing with ORA-01403: no data found
message. I have gone thru the metalink, but could not get any hits.
Did anyone come across this issue?

InfoPath 2010 - Multiple Selection List Box - Rule Does Not Run When Unchecking Value

I have a multiple selection list box on a form. I have a rule that sets the value of another field. There is not condition. Just any time item is checked or unchecked the value of the other field should
change. This works when checking an item in the list box but not when unchecking the item in the list box. My question is - do rules not fire for a multiple selection list box when unchecking an item?

I have tested in my lab environment, the rules seemed only fire for the latest checking action, and it did not fire when uncheck multiple-selection list box. Here is a workaround for your reference:

However, I’d recommend you use check box instead, since it is much easier to set rule according to value of it. We can set it as true when we check the box, and set it as false when we uncheck it as below:
Then it is simple and clear to make rule according to the value of check box.

I am using version apex_3.2.
I have created Report and define check box in report. i want to give print functionality on check box. As i tick multiple invoices from report and click on print link defined below to the report, Selected Invoices should be printed. How i can do this?

Thanks for your response, but copying and pasting creates a link. If the user places a check mark in one of the boxes, all the rest of the boxes will have a check mark also. I will research this some more.

Multiple checked boxes fill in common text field

I am attempting to create a form that has various criteria that are checked off (check boxes) and need to populate a common text field within the same form. Presently with action items I am able to design the form so that when only one item is checked it shows up on in the text field at a time not multiples Any suggestions would help.

1) In the Binding tab of your checkboxes you can put the On Value to whatever you want to populate the common text field with and the Off Value blank.
2) Assuming all your check boxes names are CheckBox under the same subform use this script in the calculate event of your common text field:

I have a database of the membership of a club. One field in the database is input by checking multiple check boxes. When the insert member record is submitted and multiple check boxes are selected, the information becomes an array of text separated by commas. When the user goes back to the update form, the check boxes are not showing checked in the appropriate fields. Thanks for getting back with me. I do have two tables. One table is the "members" table where all the information for the members is stored. One of the columns is "currentClubPositions". The database has another table which is "positions" which has the list for the positions that a member of the club could serve on. Members of the club may be serving on a number of positions at once, therefore the check boxes. Also, the club is adding and deleting positions over time, so I wanted an easy way to add them and delete them without having to go into phpmyadmin to do this. I have created a form that updates the "positions" table. The check boxes that show up in the insert member record and update member record are dynamic so that when the table "positions" changes, the forms change dynamically as do the queries to sort the database change dynamicaly. When the check boxes are entered, I use the implode function to make the values an array of text separated by commas and that value is inserted in one field of the members table named "currentClubPosition". Check Box in Tree (tree multiple selection)

I need to create a 2 level hierarchy tree, where the user is allowed to make multiple selection on leaf node. One way is to use TableTree (TreeByNestingTableColumn), but with this I am unable to get the same look and feel of a simple Tree view.
My questions are:
1. Is there a way to enable multiple selection on a simple Tree?
2. If the answer to question 1 is no, then is there a way to add check boxes to the Tree elements (be it parent or leaf)?
3. Is there anything that can be done to solve this issue without using TableTree?

Please go through Multiselection in Tree control thread.
The solution outline is like this:
1. When you click on a leaf, you mark it as selected and you can also store it in the context.
2. Click as many leaves as you like and the onAction will mark each of them as selected.
3. There's no need to do a CTRL+click, only normal clicks.
4. Once done you can find out all the marked leaves.

Actually the problem is, there are lot of check boxes. And process should be like when a user clicks on, say 7 out of 10 checkboxes, only those values needs to be inserted in a table in database. Actually my "insert all" statement is inserting 7 values and also the other three values as null. I tried insert with 'when' and 'if' but didnt get through. my sample insert statement is as follows. Could you help me here.
