Please give us your feedback and thoughts on the event, Clubhouse and SDN Day.

LOL!
Come on just giving you a hard time
I heard that Vegas was all around 10 times better for hands on sessions, lecture sessions, SDN Day (off the wall) and the Clubhouse.
I've not heard a negative comment yet other than the fact that people kept getting lost trying to get out of the hotel

Feedback for SDN Day, SAP TechEd and the SDN Clubhouse for Bangalore

So what did everyone think?

SDN Day -
I have already blogged on it <a href="/people/bhavesh.kantilal/blog/2006/11/07/sdn-bangalored">SDN Bangalored</a>. But , would like to again state that the concept was good and that the expectations for SDN Day 2007 are even higher! The fact that we are expecting more tells the fact that SDN Day B'lore 2006 was amazing!
SAP TechED -
Well, here my verdict is mixed. There were a few sessions that were marked as Advanced, but were actually sessions that were for beginners. Advanced Sessions need to be truely advanced.
It would have been more fun and useful if there had been an open house session where the actual Developers of the Netweaver Products or the RIG from every development area had help Open House sessions to understand and address the ideas / questions and issues of us developers. Maybe something of this sort can be arranged at the techED's 07.
There were a few sessions did actually catch my interest and were very useful as well, but overall I expected lots but got less
SDN Clubhouse:
I was there at the clubhouse every minute i was not attending a session at the Tech ED. Need I say more craig
Maybe more quizzing and more freebies next year ( human nature to be greedy and ask for more )
To the entire SDN team -- Special thanks to you people for the amazing experience! Hoping 2007 kicks off more surprises and more community events.

2.How many questions from individual topics we may expect?

SAP TECHED-2010 in Bangalore

Hi All,
This is the First Teched I attended in Banagalore .
I thought of sharing my experiences OF FIRST DAY here
Wow what a session's fantastic lectures.
Initially My day started with rush to catch the public transport in Bangalore to reach the Far Far SAP. But I thought a huge crowd to collect the passes to enter inside. But luckily SAP has Manage so well that for each alphabet one special counter.
We just entered and it started with some traditional Song later followed lecture by SAP BG HEADS.
and The INDIAN SAP BIG head announced some Special (tool or module )has been launched by SAP I thought a boring sesson started
But when the Live demo placed for the same..amazing tool 'SAP HANA' launched which works Super sonic speed which is going to change all SAP architecture...even.
I meet Craig , maryln, Raja and few other mentors...:) (Although Criag Doenst know whom I am )
and after the session we have couple of useful hands on and lectures followed by DEMO JAM anchored by our SCN SAP STAR Craig.....
This Demo Jam is something special that 6 participants will give 6 minutes of time. Each participant need to present their Demo on special tool developed by them in 6 mintues and Who ever recieves the best compliments wins that night...
All 6 are super unfortunately they can select only one
and Followed by SAP Special Party....
Unlimited Drinks , Varities of food and Music campgain...Just like the College days...
Wonderful atmosphere, Great People combination...Amazing Experience only I can say....
Defintely atleast once in life we need to attend.Stay Tuned.

As I was reading your post, I was thinking... Wow, this is a passionate description (food... yummy!), this belongs in a blog. I see you've never blogged on SCN but isn't it the right time to start? Tell us your impressions as a first time attendee in Bangalore, say who you met with (Craig, Marilyn, etc), what sessions you attended and what you learned. If you can, snap a few pictures and put them in your blog, etc. etc. That could be fun.

Another opportunity for SDN and BPX community members to receive complimentary registration to SAP TechEd is to submit a session proposal for either the Las Vegas, Berlin, or Bangalore events through the SDN and BPX call for proposals.
Speakers for the approved sessions will receive complimentary lecture-only registration for the location their session was selected for.
The SDN and BPX call for proposals for Las Vegas will open in mid-May, Berlin in mid-July, and Bangalore in mid-August.

SAP TechEd 2008 : Eligibility : min 1yr with current employer necessary?

Hi All,
I'm working in SAP for almost 3 & half year now.
I've recently switched over my job. I have been with my current employer from past 3/4 months.
Can I be eligible to apply for SAP TechEd 2008, Bangalore? Is there any eligibility criteria for SAP TechEd 2008 that I need to be with my current employer for atleast a year?
Could you also please post the link where I can see this eligibility criteria on SAP site.
