All,
There's a new initiative called Brillien which is intended to be a new way of modelling/developing enterprise applications. It emphasizes Flow over Structure and tries to get rid of plain (association based) structures which is very common in (java)containers. Besides the new way of modeling it , of course, provides thread- and object pooling, DI and so on.
Would you please read and comment (pros and cons are both appreciated) the stuff on the following links:

Frst check in backend, which all cubes have got data for each of three..
Corresponding you can go ahead with Multi/Infoset..
Look for reference no in all three cubes and pick one order and track tht by reference no in all cubes,

Business need a report which contains the translation of 'MM' numbers (typically beginning with '51') assigned for parked PO invoices vs. the 'FI' document number that comes out in the parked report.
Ideally, business need a parked/blocked report that contains both the FI and MM number for each record.
Can someone help me pull this report from MM

Check out the report MR43 which gives information about Parked invoice. Also you can have a look on MIR6 with check box Parked Innvoice.
The main table for parking invoice is VBKPF and other relevent tables are as follow:

I need to create a flyer which contains as example 33 lines of text in a column. All textlines have to be underlined in a color. I tried this with „Absatzlinie darunter“ (might be „Paragraph line underneath“.
The short-cut is „Command / Alt / J“, but nowhere I can see any information how to duplicate the underlines.
By the way: I am a InDesign-Beginner; I used to work with QXP before for many years. Who can give me a hint – if possible in German? Thanks a lot!

Zunächst herzlichen Dank für die Reaktion und die Tips. – Ich will da nicht
nerven, aber ich bin erst seit kurzer Zeit mit InDesign zugange und stelle
immer wieder fest, dass, je tiefer ich einsteigen will, immer mehr Fragen
auftauchen. Es gibt auch so viele Begriffe, die sich von QuarkXPress
unterscheiden, das ist ja furchtbar.
Können wir vielleicht mal kurz direkt Kontakt über E-Mail aufnehmen? Auch
mit dem Forum habe ich noch Probleme zurecht zu kommen. Ich würde gerne

Wenn Du jede Zeile unterstreichen musst, dann sind Absatzlinien (Paragraph
Rules) nicht dazu geeignet. Es gibt zwei Absatzlinien, eine unterhalb, eine
oberhalb.Für das Unterstreichen aller Zeilen kann man nur die Auszeichnung
„Unterstreichen” verwenden, das findest Du im Absatzformat unter

Well, as far as I know the Satellite Pro M50 belongs to the PSM55E series.
Some of the Pro M50 have been equipped with the CELERON Mobile-360 (DOTHAN-CELERON 1.4Ghz) CPU, 14 WXGA screen, 256MB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 200M 128MB shared graphics, 40GB HDD
Of course there are Pro M50 units with faster CPU (1.5Ghz instead of 1.4Ghz), bigger RAM (512MB) and bigger HDD 60GB.
I think you should install an hardware diagnostic tool like Everest Home edit which would scan the hardware parts. Then you could get all details about built-in parts

I am a developer (mostly on mobile (Android, iOS)) and I am considering
buying one of the 15'' macbook pro models but I face a problem on choosing which one. Taking into consideration that it's a little hard for me to pay the 2.2Ghz i7 model at the time I'd really appreciate your opinion on the the "2.0Ghz i7 quad-256mb gpu" model. Will I have any delays/issues running the SDK and several emulators (iphone-ipad) that may be using hardware acceleration? Also, will I have any delays during playback of hi-res videos, video editing, or image editing software (photoshop, illustrator)?
I certainly don't need it for gaming but I really want to know what's the expected performance on the applications mentioned using the 2.0GHz-AMD Radeon HD 6490M- 256MB GDDR5 model.

Feedback on vignetting model

After going through the exercise of creating lens profiles to corect the vignetting inherent in wide-angle pinhole photos, I thought I'd offer some feedback on the data model. Not a complaint, just an observation.
The model requires the vignette to be represented as the coefficients for 2nd, 4th, and 6th degree terms in a polynomial. This representation offers a very close approximation of real falloff for moderate ƒ/Dmax ratios, but cannot represent the *actual* falloff and the approximation gets increasingly poor as the ratio shrinks.
Here's a graph of the actual falloff as expressed by the function y = 1/(((d/ƒ)^2)+1) graphed against the representations created by the Lens Profile Creator, which offers a handy tool for fitting the curve (click it to see it bigger):
The first curve is a hypothetical 6x6cm frame with a "normal" 80mm focal length, as if one converted an old 6x6 film camera to pinhole. The approximation here is fantastic.
The second is my 6x12cm pinhole camera with a 40mm focal length. This is fairly common; both my $480 Zero 612F and the $50 Holga 120WPC use this combination. The fit here is pretty good, but it's a good thing the frame isn't any wider.
The last is a relatively common large-format pinhole ratio, with a 25mm focal length on 4x5" film. The Zero 25B uses this combination.. As you can see, the model is quite poor at representing this curve.
Since the actual falloff due to distance can be expressed by the simple formula above, it's too bad it can't be represented precisely. Maybe if someday there's a v2 of this specification...

That would help, but not nearly as much as a hybrid approach -- allow all photos to get corrected using a mathematically proper model following the 1/(((d/ƒ)^2)+1) formula, *in addition* to a polynomial correction to account for other vignetting factors.
All photos taken with a flat sensor or film have a falloff curve that matches that formula, though in the "normal" case the effect is quite small. (Does it get screwed up at large apertures or with funky lens designs like retrofocus lenses? I'm not enough of an optics guy to figure that out without devoting some serious mental energy, and it's too late at night for that right now.)
No additional tags would be needed in the profile -- in most cases you already know the focal length and frame size, which is all you need to calculate it. You could have a boolean tag for whether to perform that correction or not I suppose...

Modelled deadline with multiline container subworkflow woes

In a modelled deadline I am trying to put a subworkflow step with a mutliline container element
( ie when deadline reached, run the subworkflow once for everything in the container.
Workflow(s) compile and activate ok, however at runtime
I get the following error :
Inconsistent workflow definition: Join for fork node no. 158 not found
(this is the subworkflow node)
Extras -> Special functions -> Block correction didn't find anything. Tried saving & activating, logging on and off, sacrificing chickens.. well maybe not the last one
yet !   Any ideas ?

Always mention system/version when asking questions.
On older systems (4.6c I think) I've had some strange things happen when creating modelled deadlines manually. So I got into the habit of using the wizard to intially create all my modelled deadlines on pre-620 systems.
Failing that, most of the time I've seen those type messages I was right and the WF builder was the confused one. The time-saving route is often to simply delete and recreate the offending step.
Failing that, try creating it elsewhere in the WF and seeing if that checks out OK. If so, then cut-n-paste it to where you want in your deadline. If it complains after that (unlikely), log it with OSS.

I have 9.2.0.8 on all servers. DBMS_DEFER_SYS.CLEAR_PROP_STATISTICS is never running. I checked out DEFSCHEDULE on all databases and they are empty everywhere. Actually, they contain 1 or 2 records with zero values in all columns but DBLINK which is correct. I running many transactions with hundreds of calls but zeroes are not being changed. By the way, I applied several Oracle prebuilt conflict resolution methods and looks like they work well because explicitly conflict transactions don't get deferred. But DBA_REPRESOLUTION_STATISTICS is empty. No idea why I have these problems with the dictionary.

The reports need to be available on different hierarchy levels with corresponding levels of details. To aggregate the data the standard price is applied as the weighting factor. The STANDARD PRICE should be provided on IDH-VU (plant) level in EUR. The Logic can be seen below:

Do I need custom Model?

I am a TestStand beginner working on a 10-year-old test system for discrete power transistors. These parts are very simple and are tested one at a time by an operator. Ten years ago, another engineer built a system using TestStand and several instruments connected by GPIB. Now the software needs to be rewritten since the old system is not compliant with test software version control requirements. The original designer made a complete custom Model file, and modified the snacmodelsupport2.dll with LabWindows CVI.
I am under cost and time constraints to finish this upgrade, and it appears to be a very large learning curve to understand this custom Model. I do not want to reinvent the wheel, but it seems to me that the stock sequential model is fine for this project. What is the rule of thumb as to when a custom model file is requred?

In my opinion you should try to avoid customizing the Process Model. It makes it easier to maintain. It's even worse when you "need" to change modelsupport2.dll. UGH!!
The current sequential model has a whole bunch of callbacks which make it really easy to get desired behavior from your client sequence file.
Here's what I use for my rule of thumb for customizing the Process Model:
- Will this modification be useful to multiple projects?
- Does this modification make it easier all around in the long run. (i.e. less support, less maintenance, less work when creating new tests, etc..)
- Is my modification strong linked to 1 client sequence file? A process model should be something that can handle pretty much any sequence file. If you customize it such that it's linked to a single sequence file then you are probably doing something wrong.
- Does this modification make sense? In all reality what am I truly gaining by this modification?
A couple instances when I've changed the process model:
- Configuration Entry Sequences to change settings for a test. This just had a simple callback in it that I always overrode with my client sequence. It just put a menu item in the user interface so users could get to it.
- A callback/Configuration Entry which allowed users to link to a document describing what the test did. Again overridden by my test. Just used for the menu item.
- Disabling/Deleting an entry point. Test UUTs and Single Pass are the default for the sequential model. I only wanted users to select one.
Sounds like a crazy project. I hope it goes well for you.

Need to know how many pages contain color

Is there any way of determining from the PDF file how many pages contain color and how many are just black and white?
I need to be able to charge users for use of the more expensive color laser printer, and tell the relative cost of printing in black only.
If there is not a simple way, eg something in each page header, then how many different things would I need to scan for within the PDF file?
Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone have any utilty software to help do this?

Since this is the PDFLanguage forum, I'll answer by explain a bit about PDF...
In PDF, there are 11 different ways to represent a color. For example, "Black" could be represented in Gray (1.0), RGB ([0 0 0]), CMYK([0 0 0 1]), etc. Which one(s) of those are "black and white", in your definition?
Therefore, the first thing you need to do is understand how color works in PDF. Second, you need to understand how those varying colorspaces translate to your printer.
THEN you can look around at software solutions that will help you solve your needs.

Hi Everyone,
I agree with you that at times our documentation is not at all proper, and unfortunately sometimes is incomplete and even wrong. We do have a plan though to get back on track.
Unfortunately up until one month ago the documentation and documentation search were not on our priority list as high as they should have been, and it's myself I have to blame for it.
Since then we have been working a lot on the customized search engine that we are using in our Help & Support page. We have worked on refinements, synonims , auto-completions, promotions (so the top searches would have automatical article suggestions), and we have thoroughly refined the pool of documentation it searches into, so the results are more relevant (for example, one month ago if you searched for webapps you would have got 0 results, while at other times depending on what you were searching, results for other Adobe products were showing up).
I can say we have pushed our CSE implementation to some limits (we even have some cases with Google for various limitations), and we will continue to work on it until we'll be happy with how it works (as much as the mysterious ways of Google allow), as right now there are still gaps to be covered (as you very well pointed out).
On the documentation front we have a revamp plan that we've crafted based on the feedback we received from the community. We would work on:
1) Reviewing and updating the current documentation, in order to make sure it's complete, up to date, and is correct. - this is on the top of our priority list, and I expect it to be done in the next few months.
2) Based on what we and the community would prioritize, we'll work on developing "How to's" in order to answer specific needs and to make sure partners have adequate help resources for their daily work
3) We will work on tutorials that would get partners started and successful as quickly as possible
4) Other self-help projects that we are currently developing and that we'll make publicly available as we have them ready, along with the "In product help" we just rolled out.
In conclusion, I want to reassure you that we are aware of the gaps we have, and also know just how important it is to get back on track. We already started investing in this, and I hope to be able to show more results of our efforts soon.
