Feedback on 11i modules GL, AP, FA or PO ?

We are in the process of evaluating release 11i for upgrade of modules GL, AP, FA and PO.
We would be gratefull for feedback from anyone having upgraded to or implemented any of these modules on 11i.
We would like to know if you have encountered problems and if they have been resolved.

Hi Hemant,
Well, TCA as probably you know, stands for trading Community Architecture and with this model,Oracle is suggesting that all the entities with whom you do business should be present here. Your customers, prospects, employees, vendors(after 11.5.10), financiers, etc are stored in TCA.
So in nut shell, Finance, Pre-Sales, marketing, Field Sales, Service, Order Management, Human Resources, etc do refer TCA.

Feedback/Team Development module in Runtime environment

Hello Apex experts,
I couldn't find anything about this in documentation. The apex application I am working on has Dev, Test (run time only), Prod(run time only). I just enabled feedback page on development application, planning to move it to test. So when a user submits a feedback from test or prod, how can I access it since there are no Team development module in run time environments.

not yet.
The next strange thing is: My old LR4 installation has the same error now.
But I may found the issue. A wrong color profile in the Microsoft windows color management. I ran process monitor in the background while running LR and recognized that LR tries to load this profile again and again (as if it where stuck in a loop).
Will change the profile now and test again.
/EDIT: It is the color profile of the monitor. LR is working again :-)

Receiving client feedback on a module in the cloud?

Fairly new to this product, but would like to ask a question or two
As this is a PS/locally installed application is there a neat way of allowing clients to comment on the project as we go along and at critical releases eg. Alpha/Beta etc, but in the CLOUD (ie. in some way publish that module that they could comment per page, rather that view the entire module and then receive their feedback as an email stating what changes they are looking for on Page 33, etc etc?
So many products eg. gomo, Elucidat,Edvantage etc etc are cloud-based development and collaborative applications which allows client access to review and comment of work. Makes life so much easier duiring the dev and sign off phases

1.In order to migrate (copy) an InfoPath form from one environment, you can export the InfoPath forms and install them in the Production server:

EBS 11i Modules

Hello All,
I have been searching the web for few days/weeks to find and understand applications and modules available in Oracle EBS 11i. Is there a link or page where i can the find the list of modules and the link between them.
My understanding, there is two level's in separating the functionality. The top level includes, HRMS, CRM, Supply Chain Management (SCM), financial and etc.,. And there is one more level like Payroll, Inventory, Order Management and etc.,. If my assumption is correct, please let me know, the place where i can get this information?

I'm not looking for ER diagram. I'm looking for some hierarchical diagram which represents the EBS module hierarchy. As always, top level, 'EBS', then the >functionalities like HCM, SCM, Finance and etc.,. And then the modules for each of functionalities.

I believe there is no such diagram in oracle site.
you may get it any functional blog sites but you need to search in net. becos this type of diagrams generally they wil prepare for trainings.

Is it possible to Partially upgrade some product to R12 and keep rest 11i

Hi All
I was wondering if its possible to upgrade say Financial and procurement modules to r12 and keep rest of modules like Order Management at 11i ?
Or has there been any instance when the above was not possible that a separate box with r12 financial modules have been created and was integrated with 11i modules using custom integration , my feeling is that it may not be possible as both these will require massive effort and will complicate things

I need to know what what R12 and 11i modules use Oracle Forms.From System Administrator responsibility navigate to Security > Responsibility > Define, query the desired responsibility and find the value under the "Available From" block:
- Oracle Applications
- Oracle Self Service Web Applications
- Oracle Mobile Applications
What Forms were have been re-architected in R12 to improve performance.For the new features and changes, you could refer to the RCD documents as well R12 documentation.

Newbie to Oracle 11i e business,need help.

Hi everyone.
I am a newbie to oracle 11i and have studied it extensively but lack experience.
I recently shifted my field from being a construction worker to this.I have a college degree in
electronics.
But I need to know what kind of customizations do developers do on existing 11i modules and why .
If anyone can cite examples from projects they have done as to why they needed to customize forms or modules and how they did it..
Itll be a great help for me to understand and get some knowledge .

Thanks to previous responder for tip regarding JDK/JRE anchor strings. I'm not sure if that is a problem. After letting the install process (java.exe) run for over an hour, I finally got past the InstantiateFile step. It looks like the process just takes a long time with no visible progress sometimes. After 5-6 hrs, it looked like the install succeeded (for the most part). There were still some errors in the error logs related to the Concurrent Manager (TNS-12541: TNS:no listener) I believe. If anyone has insight on what this error msg means, I would greatly appreciate a reply.
The other problem I am tackling right now is how to explicitly set the Forms processing mode to HTTP rather than the default socket mode. According to the 11i docs (and Forms Developer 6i docs), you should only have to set "connectMode=HTTP" in the config file, appsweb.cfg, to make this happen. However, when I try bringing up a client form, the form hangs. So, obviously, something is amiss. A related question is whether one can run Forms in only HTTP mode and not HTTPS (and thus avoid having to install SSL). I would greatly appreciate any insight from fellow users.

Is there anything to convert from Cash Management (CE) module?

We are moving from an Oracle 11.0.3 environment to 11i and use Cash Management for bank recon. Is there anything specific to Cash Management that needs to be converted, or will we have everything we need by virtue of converting AP transactions?

I need some help with Open Interface for cash Management, the sintax problem: UNABLE TO GENERATE FORECASTING FOR OPEN INTERFACE with external table source.

You no need to add the changes, It can be shown in Environment menu. If u want to see the person who changed the PO in ur Print, ABAP work will be required..
By the way what is the business requirement for this. B'cas PO is meant for vendor, Why do u want to print, whoever did the changes..This thing you can see from SAP itself at anytime.

You can get the coordinates of the mouse "drop" relative to the scene in the onDragDropped handler with
event.getSceneX() and event.getSceneY().
You can get the location of the top left of a node relative to the scene with

Ensuring every tab has a graphic probably just means setting the text to an empty string and setting the graphic to a Label containing the text; or I guess you could just use a zero width and height Rectangle, or some such.

Is there anything to Replace SyncTogether?

Does anyone know of an application that will sync Address Book and iCal (between macs on a network) - I use to use SyncTogether but it is not compatible with Leopard.
