Fees for the call receiver

Does the receiver of an international call to a mobile phone incur a local or internatioanal charge for receiving the call from a skype to go number?
For example, if I call Portugal from Norway using my skype Norwegian skype to go number, does the call receiver in Portugal pay as though they are receiving an international call? Since the skype to go number is local in Norway, it seems logical that when the receiver of the call in Portugal answered the call then their Portuguese mobile operator would charge them for receiving an international call. Is this a correct assumption?

Hello,
For a regular Skype call the Portuguese operator would see the call as local as Skype calls use the internet but, in the case of an STG call which is routed via a cellular network, it would be seen as an international call.

Customer service promised me call back in 24 hrs but it has been 72 hrs and I m still waiting for the call,,,,,

Apple sent me replacement phones and both with different coverage on them. Repair coverage finishing lot earlier then what I had on the original defective phones. Now they are telling me that he phones they received were different then the ones in Repair Case. After 150 minutes long phone call the rep said me that somebody will call me within 24 hrs and I m still waiting for the call after 3 days. the conversation was polite and helpful all the way from both sides but now I feel like Apple reps are trying to avoid this problem because this is their problem that most likely they misplaced my phones in their wharehouse and after my call (one week after the phones received by apple) they started looking for it.
I had the repair status updated in my profile after I received the new wrong phones. Even the acknowledgement email from apple mentioning that they have sent out the replacement product came to my inbox two days after I received the phones.
Is this Mr.Jobs Apple ?
Does anyone has Customer service email address ?

I know there is a contact us tab on the web page and thats what I have mentioned here that what happened when I called them.

Who pays for the call?

My international student has no cell phone service, because she cancelled it. However she still uses her cell phone on WiFi. Two questions.
1) If I call her skype phone number (all local calls), will she need to use her Skype minutes for the call?
2) If she calls my local number, will she need to use her Skype minutes?

Your student will not be charged for receiving calls on her Skype Number.
However, if she calls you on your landline (or mobile), then yes, she will be charged for the minutes used (or against her Skype Credit if the call is not covered by her subscription).

If you make a call then tap the Facetime button to connect Facetime, the duration of call up to Facetime connection will be charged under your regular airtime. However, duration during facetime conversation will not consume airtime.
But if you tap the Facetime button on the Contact Page, then the whole duration will not consume airtime.
For Facetime to work, both parties must be connected to wifi.

Change language for the Caller ID announcement

How can I change the Caller ID announcement from English to say German ?
I have installed the German text to speech package and that works as expected for messages text to speech so one would think that can be used for the Caller ID announcement as well.
Any thoughts, help ?

In the OP43 transaction (Setup group category-setup group Key SPRo ), select the setup group key for which you want the translation to be maintained, select the GOTO in the menu bar - click on the translation and select the Language for which you want to maintain the translation. Maintain your translated text here.
The other way is to Log in in the language you want to maintain the transaltion Go to OP43 and maintain the details.
You will have to maintain them in SPRO and the same will be reflected for the recipes in the respective login language in the master recipe.

Hi,
I was working with EJB and i had a basic doubt in security propogation from the web tier to EJB tier.
I deployed an EJB on JBOSS app server and in that bean i was trying to get the caller principal object from the EJBContext and i was printing the name of the principal.
System.out.println(ctx.getCallerPrincipal().getName());
then i created ordinary EJB client which is a java class and when i invoked the business method i was getting the below error
Exception in thread "main" javax.ejb.EJBException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: No valid security context for the caller identity
at org.jboss.ejb3.tx.Ejb3TxPolicy.handleExceptionInOurTx(Ejb3TxPolicy.java:63)
at org.jboss.aspects.tx.TxPolicy.invokeInOurTx(TxPolicy.java:83)
at org.jboss.aspects.tx.TxInterceptor$Required.invoke(TxInterceptor.java:191)
This error sounds meaningful but how will i set the security context from the java class. If it can be done then is this the same way that the security principal propogates from web tier to EJB tier.

I want to see the calls received, dialed, missed separately

I have iphone4, I want to see the dialed , received, missed calls separetely, similar for messages, i want to see it as a list with received and sent seperately. there is no option in settings to do this, which is a normal feature for all phones

Yes, there is no option for that like on normal phones, maybe iphone not a normal phone.

Maybe in a future OS update they might incorporate your feedback.

CUCM SIP Trunk Unable to find a device handler for the request received

I have a lab running CUCM 10.0 that has a SIP trunk to a VCS. Previously I was able to place and receive calls across the trunk, but now I can only place calls, not receive. I did recently upgrade to 10.5, but I really can't recall if it ever worked after the upgrade. The error I'm getting in CUCM is
Unable to route message, Cannot find the SIP Device with Name=192.1.1.61, Source Port=5060, IpAddress Type=0
This confuses me, because the destination IP/port of the VCS SIP trunk is 192.1.1.61:5060. The trunk on CUCM show as up and the Zone in VCS shows as up. What is going on?

I figured it out. Long story short, it was a port mismatch. When you configure Mobile Remote Access on the Expressway Core it creates a SIP trunk from Expressway to CUCM using port 5060. If you then create another SIP trunk from the same Expressway to CUCM for firewall traversal or external calling, you must use a different port. The port used for the zone in Expressway must match the SIP security profile used on the CUCM side SIP trunk. So I had created another SIP Security profile in CUCM with port 5062 for this purpose. However, the VCS in question that I was working with was only being used for FW traversal, so I used 5060 as the port on the VCS side, but I applied the SIP security profile that used 5062 on the CUCM side. That's why CUCM was throwing that "device not found" error. Once I changed the Security Profile to match the same port used on VCS (5060) all was well. Sorry for the long winded answer. Hope it helps someone else down the road.

This code is working fine.
Since the documentation about this feature (Adapter-specific message attributes) is very light, We am not sure about the interpretation we made.
First, we defined the following attributes: MS_IBM_Report_Exception, JMS_IBM_Report_Expiration, JMS_IBM_Report_COA, JMS_IBM_Report_COD, JMS_IBM_Report_Discard_Msg. All of them are with type int.
Then we changed the mapping (XSL) to pass the value to the dynamic configuration, using the technical names (DCJMSMessageProperty0, ..., DCJMSMessageProperty4) and the value of the constants. We also specified a value in the Reply To Queue parameter of the adapter. As a test, We also change another parameter via the mapping (the correlation ID, to use the idoc number) and according to the log of the processed message, every thing is finde. According to the trace of the JMS adapter, everything is fine to. However, this has no impact on the message, only the correlation ID is changed.
The JMS server is IBM Websphere MQ (v6.0.2.1). It is already in production and working fine. This is a change we have been asked to implement.
Has anyone experience with the JMS receiver adapter-specific message attrbitutes ? What have we done wrong ?

Another solution for the "caller can't hear me" pr...

Ran into a problem with my cell phone the other day... I could hear the caller, but he could not hear me. Also, the Voice Recorder would not hear me either. All of which suggested the microphone was not working.
I rummaged the web, tried the various solutions I found (loudspeaker on and off; phone on and off; reset device--both soft and hard; removed battery and SIM, too), and even called AT&T customer service, AT&T GoPhone service, and Nokia (they all suggested the reset steps). No luck whatsoever. The general consensus was that the phone was a goner and I needed to get a new one. I was actually told that 2-2 1/2 years is about what should be expected for a cell phone's longevity!
The problem began when I inadvertently hit the camera key in the middle of the call. So, I even tried Mute on and off in the camera's video recorder
In any event, I finally tumbled to a solution when I noticed the inside light of the cell phone shining through its side, at the bottom. If I pressed down or squeezed the case, the microphone started working again! Turns out that the screws inside that hold the innards to the front of the phone had gotten quite loose. They are accessible when you removed the battery cover. One of mine actually dropped out when I took the battery cover off. Once I screwed them back in tightly, the microphone was back working like a charm.
Note: The screws have some of sort of mini-Allen head type crevice for their tops (a torx of some sort?), so you'll need to be careful with what you use to screw them tight.
In any event, I'm posting this here because this was not covered anywhere else on the web and the tech people at the various companies didn't know about it either.
By the way, before you ever do a hard reset, make sure that you've backed up your stuff first and, whether soft or hard reset, make sure that you write down which settings you've tweaked-- main display, icons, custom keys, etc.--because you'll have to redo them later. That'll save you lots of time and remembering!
On the Mac, for backing up, you can use iSync even with "unsupported" devices--search around there are tips on how to dig into iSync's contents and add your device. Again, though, I would try the other solutions first before resorting to that.

Try querying "Termination_Call_Detail" instead of "t_Termination_Call_Detail".

EDI: Partner profile not available for the Ack received

Hi All,
All the scenarios are IDOC -->XI --> File
We have different scenarios of IDOC to File, where SAP sends IDOC to two (we have 5 here letu2019s say 2) diff FTP locations one say FTP1 and other FTP2 and we used 3 business systems in SLD.
1)      one for Sender SAP system(say BS_SAP) and assigned a Logical System say LS_SAPCLNT100
2)     Second one for the receiver FTP1 and assigned a Logical System LS_FTP1
3)     Third one for the receiver FTP2 and assigned a Logical System LS_FTP2
And we are getting the error in the Sender SAP System for the acknowledgement sent from the FTP1 server EDI: Partner profile not available for the LS_FTP1 when we send the IDOC to FTP1 and EDI: Partner profile not available for the LS_FTP2 when we send the IDOC to FTP2.
This is because in SAP we do not have the Logical Systems for LS_FTP1 and LS_FTP2.
Now my question is how to get rid of this? Do we need to create Logical systems in SAP for third Party Systems?
If not how to overwrite and use a single LS for all of the third party Business Systems?
Please suggest .
