FETCHING SERILA NUMBERS ON THE BASIS OF WAREHOUSE AND STATUS IN SAP 8.8

I have following questions regarding serial number :
Firstly , whether OSRI table in sap8.8 has been made obsolete ?
secondly , I noticed that the STATUS field in table OSRN is not getting updated when an inventory transfer is made for a specific serial number of an item but the status field in OSRI table gets updated to value 1 .
Earlier status field in OSRI could have 0 or 1 value (0 to indicate that the serial number is present in the warehouse mentioned in WHSCODE field and 1 to indicate that the serial number has been transfered to some other warehouse and is not in the ware house mentioned in WHSCODE field).
So, If I need to fetch the all the serisl numbers of an item which are present in lets say X warehouse and having status set to value 0 then do I need to apply Join with OSRI table .I mean is it correct to have join with OSRI table or not?

Block Order TECO on the basis of operation User Status

Hi Experts,
I am trying to restrict the TECO of maintenance order on the basis of order operation status. I have configured the user status profile and assigned it to order operation. This user status profile have two statuses, INCL - Incomplete and another is CMPL - Complete. I have prohibited the TECO for user status INCL. But when I create an order and try to TECO, the system allows me TECO it enenif the operation user status is INCL.
Could you Pl. tell me, have I missed something in configuration?

Actually you can control TECO by completion confirmation of order operation as PCNF ( partial confirmation) for operation which you have mentioned in Order. So you can set up in configuration like allow TECO only once CNF ( Full confirmation ) for all operations mentioned in Order.
For your mentioned scenario , I dont feel based on user status you can stop the TECO, anyway you can check with other experts as well.

Workflow Task: It is the task(workflow steps like Process, Approver etc) assigned to different user during Workflow. User's use the workflow tabs in Data Manager to view and process workflow tasks. see page 91/654 of Data Manager Guide.

Serarch on the basis of Qualifications and skills

Hi all,
As a major input for PS module, I need to search employees as per their qualifications and skills (if possible, based on their ratings)
e.g. For a project of PS, 2 employees are required who knows MS-Office with 'good' rating....so in report the system should show the names of the employuees who know MS Office in good rating...

Mac Pro 2009 - the base is uneven and "wobbles"

I just picked up a new 8-Core Mac Pro. I have a glass desktop table. Upon setting the Mac Pro on top of it, the unit "wobbles" I know the glass desktop is even and flat. From what I can tell the front right side and rear left (if looking from the front of the unit) are to blame. When flipping the unit on its side I can see the rubber "sliders" or "cushioned feet" are present. The question is, should I try to fix it myself with some type of "hack" or exchange it?

Try and see if they will fix it for you. You paid for that warranty, why not try to use it first. It is expensive to replace the cabinet, so I expect everyone will try to straighten it out. They may have straightened out a ton of them.
They may tell you it is shipping damage, and you should make a claim against the shipper, but it is their shipper, and they have much more sway with the shipper than you do. So they should at least help you with that.
I was surprised when my son's MacBook refused to load CDs. They told me that the MacBook frame was bent, and that they had a tool to straighten them out, which they had done, no charge. Oh, and by the way, try not to pick it up one handed by the corner.

Error when trying to view reports or manually processing the TFS data warehouse and analysis services cube

I am trying to configure the reporting for TFS using SQL Server. But I get following error when viewing any report:

When I click on GetProcessingStatus and invoke it (with last field set as TRUE) I get following error:
Please advice as to how to resolve this issue and be able to see the reports.

I have managed to resolve this issue. Note that for all purposes of this question and answer, mydomain\tfsadmin is a generic user (used to install all software). This is a proof of concept account, for test purposes
The thing is that while installation of the SQL Analysis service I had given the username: mydomain\tfsadmin (a generic user for testing) as the Analysis service administrator, instead of the 'Domain admin' group.
Still I have managed to resolve this issue.
Steps:
1. Make sure that the user (mydomain\tfsadmin) is a member of Analysis Server -> TFS_Analysis db -> Roles -> TFSWarehouseAdministrator and TFSWarehouseDataReader. (This actually happens automatically when you run the TFS Admin console and configure
reporting and provide the username that will access the Analysis db, etc. In my case the user is 'mydomain\tfsadmin')
2. It is a bad practice to manually process the cube (you can do this is make sure that there are no errors, but only after completing the following steps till step 5)
3. Also make sure that NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE is member of the Analysis db -> Roles -> TFSWarehouseAdministrator ->
this will resolve the error which appears in the 2nd screenshot in the question.
4. Then you can right click on the Analysis db and run process. If this is throwing error as shown in above reply of mine, then you need to follow https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/ff400237.aspx
a. http://localhost:8080/tfs/TeamFoundation/Administration/v3.0/WarehouseControlService.asmx
b. Choose
ProcessWarehouse, run it.
c. Choose ProcessAnalysisDatabase, type 'Full' and run it.
d. Choose GetProcessingStatus,
enter 'TRUE' in last field and run it.
e. I don't get any errors at this point.
5. Now you can connect to the Analysis server via SQL Mgmt Console, right click on Analysis db (TFS_Analysis) and click Process. It all works good.
6. Now you can browse to the report URL (to get this URL you can open Team explorer 2013, connect to you team project, on RHS click 'Reports', Click 'Go to Site'.
DONE.

How do I view the Horizontal Scrolling bar and status bar at the bottom of the screen. I can only see the top menus, toolbars and vertical scroll bar?

Before the most recent upgrade, the bottom horizontal scrolling bar and status bar appeared on my screen. Now since upgrading, I cannot see the. Anyone ideas how to restore them?

If you haven't already, you could force-quit Quicktime by using the menu option from the desktop (finder) and choose Quicktime.
Not sure what you have frozen on the screen, be it a failed movie, or some unusual screen shot. If you can find by date (created) you may be able to look for .mov or quicktime suffix name or other video file content to delete it.
And you may have to restart your computer and perhaps run repair disk permissions from Disk Utility's first aid on the hard disk drive in your computer.
Not sure if all that would help now, but it is something a few days late...!

How can I change the font size in the menu-, bookmark-, tabs and status-bar?

I want to change the text font size in the Firefox-window, other than the text in the Web-page.

You can increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 steps to see what works best.
In Firefox 3.6 and later this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements more precisely.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Has anyone scratched off the numbers on the app gift card and the numbers disappear?

I want a report where i will select a "vendor" , "item" and it will give me the quantity ordered for that particular quantity to that vendor line by line and also how much has been has been received against each line being displayed there

It is basically 3 queries that merges the results into one result set. The first query retrieves orders, goods receipts and invoices, the second query retrieves orders and invoices, the third just orders that's still open.

Based on your code, you may have a SQL injection vulnerability. You can try to use parameterized query that assign user input to a parameter instead of embedding user input in the query statement.For example:

Main Strategies Used are 10,11, and 40
Demand will be captured in MD61 ( Planned Independent requirements)
Make to Order:
Main strategy used is 20
Demand / Independent requirements will be captured in MD81(Customer requirements) .or sales order
After MRP run and Execution of production, the demand disappears when stocks delivered to Either sale order or cost center.

1 where can i define the total number of employee for each cost center? i cannot enter in KK01 as in KK01 i only can define the measurement which is number of employee.

I have a new requirement in SAPUI5. I want to upload an PDF file using FileUploader component. Now how to validate this thing only for PDF file. User can only upload PDF file.
Next I want to read the content of this PDF file and want to save data in SAP table. For this requirement, how to read the content of that file? After reading how to save the content in SAP table?
To achieve this, how to design the ODATA service?
Any kind of suggestion would be acceptable gratefully.
