@Multimoon, how could you say such a thing!?!?  Especially after you summoned my (and others) help in finding a good shell!  No just kidding.  I have to agree that depending on the error, it may be best to simply ignore some of them.  For instance, I don't think that it is a terrible thing if gnome-keyring is using a legacy config path.  I also don't think you should worry about pulseaudio not being able to connect to bluez unless you actually use bluetooth audio.  Maybe I might get flamed for hand holding
If you want help in an English forum (except the "other languages" section), you should probably post in english.  There is a way to make your output english by setting your locale to C I think for the given command, but the only language my system is setup for is English, so I don't have this issue.

At least, it gets me dates of files in English...

  • Few errors observed : Automatic Payment Program (APP)

    Dear Experts,
In the APP, i m observing a few errors :
    1.  in proposal log, there are certain exception, the message displayed for that is "Balancing field "Business Area" in line item 002 not filled"
    2.  A few cases, where the i m able to clear invoices thru APP, but cannot find a cheque assigned nor can find any cheque printed thru the assigned form
    3.  When i click on the print option on F110 screen after payment run, there displays a message "Print job F110-20100206-32610-X1 has been scheduled", where to execute this??
    4.  In the variant, which is the last tab (Printout / data medium) of the F110, i m selecting a particular House Bank, so that a payment could be made by that House Bank only, but still i m observing a few invoice got cleared thru a House Bank other than the selected one.
    Help help in above issue.

    Hi Hussein,
The pointwise response is as below:
    1. BA seems to be mandatory. Check for the log to find out what is combination of invoices being paid out and also their BA.
    2. Is this happening on only few of the cases or all ? If it is only few then please provide some more detailed screenshot. One of the possibility of non assignment could be your method of assigning the house bank in the print out as referred to in your query # 4.
    3. Use the tcode SM35 to find out the job and SP01to print the same.
    4. Payments are made by the House bank assigned either to the vendor master or the transaction. In fact this could be one of the reasons that not all of your payments have been assigned the check #.
    Thanks,
    Sanjeev

  • Import finished with few errors...Help understanding it!

    Hi all,
Yesterday, I finished to do an import in oracle. I used the impdp command and got few errors after the import was done. Here are some bits from my log. It was very long but I shortened it with the most common errors. I would appreciate your help understanding what does each error mean, and whether there's a solution available.
    Thanks!

El trabajo "SYS"."SYS_IMPORT_FULL_01" ha terminado con 2249 error(es) en 17:21:02

    Hello people,
I just run for the second time a full import, and it said it finished correctly.
The first time I run it, there was a message which said that the import had finished with 2249 errors (I checked my log and not all of them were errors but messages). I checked each single message and only had to solve a couple of things.
I first created a user in response to an ora-29393: user string does not exist or is not logged on.
The second thing I did was to run the utlrp.sql file in response to an ORA-39082. I did this according to this blog.
I know oracle is taking precedence each time I run an import. I don’t know if what I have done is okay or perhaps not all data was imported after all. This is the thread which I posted initially when errors came out.
    Any reply is a supply.
    Thanks loads

  • Few errors while working with Oracle 9i developer suite.

I am facing a few errors working with Oracle 9i developer suite.
    1. while running forms we have to press "ctrl +F11" to execute a query.
is there any other way of executing a query where the user can do it at a click of button or so? and similarly some way of canceling a query?
    2. how can we run parameterized reports thru a menu in forms?
    3. i had run a query which fetched around 15 records which were populated in 10 text boxes. i cud scroll down to see the records, with the keys but was not able to scroll back up. how can this be avoided or some way thru which we can scroll?
    4. can sessions be created in Oracle forms?
    5. the security feature thru menu roles is not proving efficient. can some1 suggest some way of achieving this user access control?
hope some 1 can answer my queries soon

    1) execute query in windows is F8, yours is unix. Change the resource-file. You find them in <forms-home>. fmrweb.res is the standard. Save a copy. Copy then the fmrpcweb.res into fmrweb.res. That's all.
    2) start in the menu with an execute_trigger ('UN_MY_REPORT_CALL') a forms-level-trigger in your form. Then you can interact with your report-objects.
    3) page down + up are the keys to scroll. maybe the solution is 1)
    4) yeah, implicit with open_form (... new_session...) but what do you need ?
    5) write your own mechanism. say first, which features do you need

  • [SOLVED] Error in journalctl after replacing netctl wth NetworkManager

Following the Archlinux installation wiki, I installed netctl and configured a new wifi profile (I called it "my-network"), some time ago I replaced netctl with NetworkManager and I think I deleted the wifi profile I created (I can't find it anywhere).
The problem is that now I see this error in `journalctl -xb`:
    Sep 15 11:39:58 wil93-arch systemd[1]: systemd 204 running in system mode. (+PAM -LIBWRAP -AUDIT -SELINUX -IMA -SYSVINIT +LIBCRYPTSETUP +GCRYPT +ACL +XZ)
    Sep 15 11:39:58 wil93-arch systemd[1]: Set hostname to <wil93-arch>.
Sep 15 11:39:58 wil93-arch systemd[1]: Cannot add dependency job for unit netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service, ignoring: Unit netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service failed to load: No such file or directory. See system logs and 'systemctl status netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service' for details.
    Sep 15 11:39:58 wil93-arch systemd[1]: Starting Login Prompts.
As you can see, it searches for some "my\x2dnetwork.service" that doesn't exist anywhere on my system. I searched through all systemd services to see if there was someone who wanted that but I haven't found anything. How can I completely get rid of this?
If I run `systemctl status netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service` as said in the error line, I get:
    [email protected]
Loaded: error (Reason: No such file or directory)
    Active: inactive (dead)
    Jul 11 16:24:34 wil93-arch systemd[1]: Stopped Networking for netctl profile myx2dnetwork.
So there's some log dated back on July 11, that I think is the date when I uninstalled netctl. Any ideas?

Thanks. I've removed the file /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/netctl@my\x2dnetwork.service
I don't know why I haven't found that before. Maybe it was there because I tried reinstalling netctl (now I uninstalled it again).
scar wrote:Have you disabled the netctl service (systemctl disable [email protected]) before you uninstalled netctl?
I don't know if I did. Anyway, now I know that I probably should have done that.

  • Repetitive Broadcom errors in journalctl

    Hi,
I've managed to get everything setup on my Macbook Air 2014. I checked journalctl for errors since last boot and discovered that the following is getting logged once a second (also present in dmesg output):
    kernel: ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_tx_power : error (-1)
    kernel: ERROR @wl_dev_intvar_get : error (-1)
I think it is referring the the wireless driver. The wireless is working fine for me at the moment. Is there any way stop it complaining (either fixing the issue or just suppressing the error)? I'm using broadcom-wl-dkms from the AUR.
    lspci output:
02:00.0 Multimedia controller: Broadcom Corporation Device 1570
03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4360 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03)
    Thanks in advance.

    Hey there,
I'm using Macbook Air 2014 with broadcom-wl and every kernel upgrade kill wifi (I'm using wifi-menu to connect). What helps me -- uninstalling and re-building package broadcom-wl.
    Here is the relevant thread:
    https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=185870
    Will check my journalctl.

  • Slim errors in journalctl.

I've had this random shutdown a few hours ago, so I naturally looked at the journal to see if something would explain the cause. I noticed some errors about ACPI and the battery*, but I also noticed a lot of slim errors as well.
The errors were multiple occurances of these:
    Nov 15 09:37:38 black-rock slim[438]: [678:678:1115/093738:ERROR:base_feature_provider.cc(122)] manifestTypes: Allowing web_page contexts requires supplying a value for matches.

Any idea what is causing that?
*The Acpi errors are shown below. I probably should open a new thread about it, but then again it could be just a transient error.
Nov 15 09:37:50 black-rock kernel: ACPI Exception: AE_TIME, Returned by Handler for [EmbeddedControl] (20130725/evregion-287)

I agree with others and unless you have specific Error messages (the log has only Warnings) then the installation was completed - the 'success' message at the end of the log is also a key indicator that everything was OK.
If you installed a starter database, check that it is there and running - it looks as though you are on unix, so check that the pmon process is running: ps -ef |grep pmon
If the database has created OK and you can log into it, good chances are the installation is fine.
    cheers,

Lot's of problems there.  Hope DU can fix them.  You don't want to continue using that drive in the state it is in now.  Nothing wrong physically with the drive (I believe).  Just what's on it.
You cannot repair the disk you are booted from, only verify it.  That's why repair was grayed out and that why its telling you to boot from another bootable disk.  If you don't have one then boot from your installer dvd which has a copy of DU on it.  Then try to repair your boot disk and hope it's successful.
If it isn't successful, then you may have to try to use Disk Warrior (which has it's fans and detractors as to how "good" it is).
Of course if you have a backup you could just erase the drive and recreate from your backup.  This is one of the reasons to always have backups.  Alternatively if you do have a backup, then you could boot from it as I mentioned above to run DU from there (hold down option key hear the boot beep to be able to select a bootable drive).

  • Installing an ABAP Application Server for ECC6? I am getting a few errors!

    Hi All
I assumed that this was a simple procedure when installing an Application server.
Run SAPinst and select Dialog instance and install
My server has Java installed and runs fine until you get to the profile directory stage. and when I enter the directory I get the following message (after 30 seconds or so!)
Connect to message server (mexico/0) failed: NIECONN_REFUSED.
I am not sure why! Can anyone help?
    Thanks

That error means, that the message server the system is trying to connect to, is not up and running.
Can you reach the messages server via ping? Is your DNS working (in case you use DNS)?

  • A few errors in Encore CS4

    Hey all,
We're using Encore for the first time in several years to author our DVDs, and though it's working well, there are a few issues I'm hoping someone can help with.
The DVDs are animated in Flash. The .swf's are then brought into After Effects and put into compositions. Then we use dynamic link to insert the compositions in Encore. The Transcode settings are set to automatic... (Not sure if there's any other relevant info, but I can supply it if need be) Here's some of the issues we're noticing when watching the DVD:
Intermittently, we're seeing "blank frames" of white when watching the dvd. They don't show up in the .swf, AE comps, or Encore timeline, so we're assuming it's happening during the transcode.
Whenever transitioning from a menu to a timeline, or during any end action (ie: at the end of the movie) The image stretches and distorts for a couple seconds before going to it's destination. We put in other DVD's and they don't do this on our player.
Lastly, we're noticing some undesired color changing in the middle of certain scenes. It's very gradual, and difficult to notice, but it's something we'd like to eliminate if possible.
The 1st and 3rd issue seem to be transcoding issues. We really like the automatic transcode settings, since it takes a lot of the math and guessing out of our workflow... not to mention it maximizes the disc space, so I'm hoping to continue using it if we can come up with a solution. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried conforming the Flash to 29.97?
Even if you don't see the odd frames in AE, are the white frames at the same place on redoing the Encore project?  If so, where in the AE comp are they?
I'm wondering about some fps issue creating a gap when transcoded.
    Shooting in the dark.
Unfortunately, we can't adjust the framerate when exporting the .swf from flash. We'd have to instead render out a quicktime movie or other form of video. The reason we haven't explored that possibility is that the white frames are not visable during any stage of preview until the actual burn itself. I even previewed the entire 1 hour of transcoded video in Encore and it doesn't appear there either. Do you think it might have had a faulty burn?
Edit: forgot to ask: what are you doing with fields at each step?
I don't think there are field settings in Flash, so I'm not sure
In AE, they're untouched. Since it's DVD, should it be lower field first?
In Encore, we're using the automatic setting, so I don't think we can alter that. But I could be wrong.

  • Getting a few Error Alerts

Some files I open in Dreamweaver CS6 cause these errors to occassionally popup:
The only thing I can see a pattern arising is when there's javascript or CSS.  But it gets too random to really know.
Any advice what I should do?

Have you attempted any kind of fix as of yet?
Things like deleting the cache file, resetting prefs, reinstalling, restarting, etc?
If this is a relatively new occurance, I would suggest clearing the cache file as instructed here...
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494811
That tends to clear up all kinds of odd behaviors in DW.

Given the order of the syslogs, I'm guessing that we're looking at multiple instances of the policy running.   Since you're allowing them to run for 60 seconds and scheduling them 60 seconds apart, that's probably the case.  My guess is that some of the SSH sessions are not providing a match to the "assword:" pattern, and thus these policies are hanging awaiting the prompt until they are terminated.  I would check to make sure you don't see some other pattern on various runs of the SSH command.
