  • SOMEONE MUST KNOW about missing MPG2 Playback component!!!

OK! Just a few months ago, i was able to Mpegstreamclip to preview VOB and MPEG2 files... Now, the program says as some have experienced.... Mpeg2 playback component missing....
Mpeg2 playback component supposedly came w/ FCP studio... Now it's missing...
Is this intentional by apple to make us re-buy the component on their site or is this something else?
    Any information is greatly appreciated!!

suppose 80th record is the error record, what will happen if I am doing this using session metod?
suppose 80th record is the error record, what will happen if I am doing this using call transaction metod?
suppose 80th record is the error record, what will happen if I am doing this using session metod but in background mode?
Please clarify me with all possible scenorios.
<b>Points are assured for useful answers.</b>
    Regards,

    Hi:
Qn No: 1) No data will be saved .
    2)            The error record wont be saved. In your case all the records except 80th record will be saved using call transaction ( Foreground) .
    3)  No data will be saved .

  • Things you need to know about 6280

Hi everybody, I used to have a 6680 and I say this with regret. Why? I gave it to my girlfriend as a gift. Now that was a good sturdy functional phone. Now I bought a 6280 from Vodafone. I wanted a N70 but the Vodafone representative recommended this one. I chose to go with the 6280 because the N70 looked a little bit too fragile. She also said there are no significant differences. Well, she couldn’t be more wrong. Let me tell you why. The first thing I should mention is that 6280 is not a symbian phone! This, for who knows what it means, it is a lot. I wasn’t aware. You cannot switch between applications for one. So now since I bought it, I gave it a go, see what it is all about. Nice graphics, big screen, no problems (I read here somebody had some). The first annoying thing that hit me is the back light. Goes out in an instant. Or 10 seconds they say. Depends on how you measure time. The problem is you cannot adjust that. Neither the contrast. Nor the luminosity. Some people find these features useful. Nokia seems doesn’t. Some people said on this forum that the sliding front does not have a good grip. Mine seem to do. Navigating through folders is somewhat frustrating but this is subjective. Another thing you should know is that you cannot set the memory card as the default storage space and the phone memory is small. Just about 5MB free with … nothing on it. But I guess you can get around that and be happy with what you have. Now for the real problems. One big issue for me was synchronizing with Outlook. I got it working in the first try. No problems there. But when checking the contact list on the phone … well, disappointment. The 6280 does not record company name, job title and birthday. This is a huge problem for somebody well organized like me. Birthdates are saved in calendar but they do not show up in the contact details. Try finding a birthday through the entire calendar! Second thing that got me down is that the contact phones have no area codes. This you might say “well, it’s ok”. Not if you modify something and then you get your contact updated in Outlook with no area codes. Again BIG problem. My second frustration was with the email accounts. It was hell to figure out how to configure and then I realized. If you have multiple email accounts … you should get another phone. 6680 is good. I assume any symbian enabled phone will do. Not this one. You cannot have all the emails grouped or in separate folders at least as it is on s60 phones. No. here you have to go to “Menu – Settings – Configuration – Personal Config Settings – select other email account and activate it”. Then you go back and go into the email folder. Good job Nokia! I think they could have found a worst sequence to do it. Also, get this, I assume (99% I know) that the emails get stored in the phone memory. You have no way of moving to memory card and no way of reading office or pdf files. Note that on symbian there are applications to do it. As for the battery, I don’t know yet. It did not last one day anyway but I gave it a good run and I know it will improve after several recharges. The good things I know about this phone is that the video has a good quality. I cannot say for pictures because I do have a professional digital SLR camera and I cannot compare without being mean. It is still a phone. The radio is average. Good enough I say. Small note to end this. The phone should have predictive text input. Should, because it is not in the menu. A problem that a firmware update should resolve. I don’t know to what version since I might have the last one. It is: v 03.60 10-02-06. I would buy another model. If you are like me, pay attention to all I had to say. Cheers!

Good posts a lot of information I needed or to know, or more so wish I'd known prior to purchasing the 6280. Came across this post while trying to find resolutions to a number of the 'problems' with this model that you've listed, or for accuracy's sake functional and features missing from this phone or poorly develop, in comparison to other models.
Fact: One 'bug' that hasn't been raised in these posts is the management of a contact thumbnail's through PC Suite does work. Adding a thumbanil on the PC doesn't appear on the phone, and adding a thumbnail on the phone doesn't appear on the PC.
Oppinion: The lack of management/handling of Company name & Birthday were the killer for me!
Fact: Also I've only had the phone about 2 days now and I've had it just stop and mysteriously restart on me about 4 times. Admittly I've been using it a lot but not doing anything out of the ordinary to expect that.
Oppinion: On the plus side the screens resolution great, and the photos very good for a phone. Neat little cropping tool, but nothing to rotate. Although the camera doesn't have a protector the case can be replace fixing and scratches! The phone is generally pretty responsive, boots and shuts down very quickly too.
Oppinion: I'm probably being over critical here but the video call's camera at half arms length barely shows your whole face, at full arms length it's 'closer' to what you'd see on a passport. Although at this distance viewing the person your calling is more difficult. The phone has a good digital zoom in-out feature during a video call. But given the small portion of you shown under normal circumstances I don't imagine this would get used often. Admittly it was entertaining to keep the phone where it was and zoom in on my eye, but it's entertainment value will wear off (or maybe i could call me iridologist).

  • X58 pro-e trying to understand a few things please help me out.

    first of all hi
im trying to overclock my cpu to a nice place and in my mind its 4ghz  and in my mind its like use 22X200=4ghz=happy me
now realty is when i do that and leave every thing on auto the MB puts too much volts on the V.core like 1.4+ and thats bad for me i do have a good cooler thermaltake frio  220w
so i tried lowering Blck and stuff and i googled stuff and ended up with a good 21X175 with 0 on the V.core only to download a program named cpu-tweaker and nehalemcalc so bare with me the question is coming  so i setup the nehalemcalc to 225X21 qpi multi X18 Uncore multi X12 mem multi X6
only to get a warning saying (instability may occur when QPI clock is greater than 4000MHz) and it got me wondering how much did i set my Multi`s so i went and checked but i did not find them in the cell menu so i opened the cop-twaeker   to look some stuff up  and i found
    21X175=good i put that there
7x7x7x19=ram timing good too i put them my self
    Uncore X16= bad read under
QPI X18= good after i read in 4.8 mode its set to X18
RAM X3 = i guess its good i put it there too
so i opened up the nehalemcalc 1.3 and used these numbers i found only to read some thing i did not find in cell menu mem multi witch was 6 as minimal
number in the program so whats wrong here how come its giving me deferent numbers in the 2 programs and in cpu-z its showing FSB:Dram  2:6
so where do i find adjust that ratio found in the cpu-z or the uncore multi for that matter !
sorry i know its crazy but i really think  thats why i cant go pass the 4Ghz dream BTW i need to add Volts to the cpu as from 3.8  :( so it just might help
out to know every thing to know about this motherboard
    my system specc`s are :
    core i7 920 d0
    X58 pro-e
    gtx260
    1TBx2 wd
    2x3 transcend jetram 1333

Everything should be fine as long as the recommended max. voltages aren't exceeded. Lots of trial & error involved, within safe limits of course.
Added:I hope that 4.00 is the CPU speed & not the volts applied.
stop loling @ me  come please i have a dead time on the rams if i dont like them i can return them
so it is the cpu speed the 4k yes so pleaseeeeeee tell me what kind of volts i should use with this setup lets say 3.8ghz and i know every cpu has its own vlots and all but i need like a refrance that i can work on lets say 3.8ghz needs 1.2v on the v,core 1.5v on ram 1.2 on qpi and so on .. so for 4ghz i need 1.3v,ram1.5,qpi...... some thing easy like that    and if it works i will  for you sir

  • What does a BI Developer need to know about SAP tables and why?

    Hi,
    i.
As a BI Developer, to what extent do you need to know about SAP tables?
e.g. if you work mainly in the functional areas LO and FI
    ii.
For example, I know that in Finance, GL relates to the tables BSEG and BKPF.
And if it is important to know about them, then which other tables need to be known and for what reasons?
e.g. do I need to know all these tables: http://www.erpgenie.com/sap/abap/tables_fi.htm
    iii.
I thought as a BI Developer, knowing that a particular datasource, e.g. 0FI_GL_4 contains line items is enough and you replicate it to BW and work with it. Why is there the need to know the tables from which this datasource gets is data?
iv. What is the main difference between the FI datasources and the LO datasource?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    i.  As a BI Developer, to what extent do you need to know about SAP tables?
e.g. if you work mainly in the functional areas LO and FI
Not required, but today business demands so you required this Knowelgde.

We can't say yes or No, so based on your requirement you need to sit with Functional COnsultanst and the understand the Business Requirements and develop the OBjetcs.
    iii.

If you want to know the data flow and reconsilization then you need to know it else not required
iv. What is the main difference between the FI datasources and the LO datasource?
Yes, one main difference is There is no setup table concept for FI DataSource*
Note: If you want to become a good BW consulatnt you must know about Tables for normal BW consultant it is not required.

C Apple, i need to know few things, first of all i shall tell my scenario. I got an iphone 3gs from my uncle in US..after long waiting. I m from south india, living at God's country called Kerala k. well , in that iphone it showing activation screen and trying to activate. not more than that..plz help!
means.. in simple words, it is trying to activate and all( searching wifi,, taking few minutes..again searching...if it couldnt find any wifi - telling .. try connect using itunes an all)...well any way. finally I try connect to a wifi network, with full speed...3mbps..from Ravi's internet cafe in downtown.
All after Im getting the below message from that white candy box!( thats all I can use now, because, in my dreams iPhone is something great,  that mankind ever seen....but this really disappointed me......im simpling blinking!!(same with itunes too)
""Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes.
If this problem persists, contact apple support at apple.com/support""
EVERYDAY .EVERTIME.. I C this message and sleep....no use.....and i use to charge that 'white candy box' to c this message!
I try searching internet and all for solutn...but no one knw about it..but there are...some one me abt method called jailbreaking ..rednw..white snw ..ultrasnw and all...I dnt knw why it is so complicated to troublesht...apple is suppose to be simple and friendly.
C why u manufacturing these stuffz like this, if does'nt serve the any of its purpose ....or useable to any of its features atleast....C i wont be that disapppointed, if u put an option to playbck music or video during activation and all...
If you are responsible for manfacturing such unuseable thing, then its ur responsible to destroy it too.....

Finally I have only few questions to ask...
1 will it work with my vodafone sim in kerala?

3 will i become a proud iPhone user?
I am already fedup with asking questions..begging for an solution.....
I hope so you can help to figure it out, without any complications....thank u!

It was not legitimately unlocked by the carrier it was originally locked to. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it.
In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple.

  • Things a LabVIEW Programmer must know

    Hello guys..
I am working on labVIEW for last 1 year on my own.
If I get any difficulties I post my questions on the NI Forum.
But I only know a small drop of the sea water..
So what should a labview programmer must know??
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

In short, how to avoid 10 screen wide spaghetti code full of sequence structures, local variables and race conditions
Also I advice you to have a look on the NI Certificates and the "learning curve":
    http://www.ni.com/white-paper/13120/en/
    http://www.ni.com/training/certification/
    http://forums.ni.com/t5/Certification/bd-p/Certification
edit: maybe I would just add a few points which I usually keep in mind during planning phase of a new project:
choose the right framework or template based on the requirements
Keep in mind how to get and set values - indicators and controls. If it is possible, use the wire to pass data. Keep in mind what is OK to do with local variables (for example update a control), and what should be (usually) avoided (read/write indicators for example). If you cannot use the wire to directly pass info (parallel loops), learn proper use of Notifiers, Queues, UserEvents, etc...
who will use the code (this is very important, you need totally different approach if you develop for only yourself, or for others who are not programmers and maybe even do not know the hardware part of the system...)
GUI most be always responsible. Avoid bad habits (longer time running things in GUI Event loop).
Avoid overcrowded Front Panel: use pop up windows for settings, etc. Which the user do not need to see always.
Error handling! It is very important to make a robust proper error handling strategy: for example if one of your HW component creates an error, your application cannot just stop simply. Handle the error, properly close all HW and File references (remember if you do not close a File properly, you can lose LOTS of data&colon; file writing is buffered from RAM). Also log the error info in a log file.
If you need to make an EXE or installer: use a configuration file to store user changes: if the user changed the colours (width, etc.) of a Graph/Chart, store this info in a config file which you load at the next application start.
Autodetect hardware (or give the user the option to change port/channel settings): what happens if your application moves to another PC (COM port numbering changes, etc...)? Your application need to adapt to HW changes.

You need to talk with the tax authorities in the countries to which you traveled and that of your home country. We are all end-users liek you and not Apple agents.

  • 7 Things every Adobe AIR Developer should know about Security

7 Things every Adobe AIR Developer should know about Security
    1. Your AIR files are really just zip files.
Don't believe me? Change the .air extension to zip and unzip
it with your favorite compression program.
What does this mean for you the developer? What this means is
that if you thought AIR was a compiled protected format, alas it is
    not.
    2. All your content is easily accessible in the AIR file.
Since we now that the AIR file is really just a zip file,
unzip it and see what's inside. If you have added any content
references when you published the AIR file, voila, there it all is.
What does this mean for you the developer? Well, you content
is sitting there ripe for the picking, and so is everything else
including you Application descriptor file, images etc.
    3. Code signing your Air app does nothing as far as security
    for you.
All code signing your app does is verify to the end user that
someone published the app. I does nothing as far as encryption and
does nothing to project your content.
What does this mean for you the developer? We'll you should
still do it, because getting publisher "unknown" is worse. It also
means that joe hacker would not be able decompile your entire app
and republish it with the same certificate, unless they
somehow got a hold of that too.
    4. All your AIR SWF content is easily decompilable.
Nothing new here, it's always been this way. Type flash
decompiler into google and you'll find a variety of decompilers for
under $100 that will take your AIR content swf and expose all your
source code and content in no time.
What does this mean for you the developer? All you content,
code, urls and intellectual property is publicly available to
anyone with a decompiler, unless you do some extra work and encrypt
your swf content files, which is not currently a feature of AIR,
but can be done if you do your homework.
    5. Your SQLite databases are easy to get at.
SQLite datatbases can be accessed from AIR or any other
program on you computer that knows how to work with it. Unless you
put your database in the local encrypted datastore, or encrypt your
entire database it's pretty easy to get at, especially if you
create it with a .db extension.
What does this mean for you the developer? We'll SQLite is
very useful, but just keep in mind that your data can be viewed and
    altered if you're not careful.
    6. The local encrypted datastore is useful, but....
The local encrypted datastore is useful, but developers need
a secure way of getting information into it. Storing usernames,
passwords and urls in clear text is a bad idea, since as we
discussed, you code is easy to decompile an read. By putting info
into the local encrypted datastore, the data is encrypted and very
difficult to get at. The problem is, how do you get it into there,
without have to store any info that can be read in the air file and
without the necessity of communicating with a web server? Even if
you called a web service and pushed the returned values into the
datastore, this is not ideal, since you may have encoded the urls
to you web service into your code, or they intercept the results
    from the web service call.
What does this mean for you the developer? Use the local
datastore, and hope that we get some new ways of protecting content
and data form Adobe in the next release of AIR.
    7. There are some things missing form the current version of
AIR (1.1) that could really help ease the concerns of people trying
to develop serious applications with AIR.
Developers want more alternatives for the protection of local
content and data. Some of us might want to protect our content and
intellectual property, remember not all of us are building toys
with AIR. Other than the local encrypted datastore there are not
currently any built in options I'm aware of for encrypting other
content in the AIR file, unless you roll your own.
What does this mean for you the developer? We'll I've been
told that Adobe takes security very seriously, so I'm optimistic
that we'll see some improvements in this area soon. If security is
a concern for you as much as it is for me, let them know.

Putting "secret data" as a clear text directly in your code
is a broken concept in every environment, programing language.
Every compiled code is reversible, especially strings are really
    easy to extract.
There is no simple, straightforward way to include secret
data directly with your app. This is a complicated subject, and if
you really need to do this, you'll need to read up on it a bit.
But in most cases this can be avoided or worked around
without compromising security. One of the best ways is to provide
the user with a simple "secret key" alongside the app (best way is
the good old login/password). The user installs the app, and
provides his "secret key", that goes directly into
EncryptedLocalStore, and then you use this "secret key" to access
the "secret data" that's stored on your server. Then you can
transfer the "secret data" directly into EncryptedLocalStore.
    As for the whole thread:
Points 1-5 -> Those points do not concern AIR apps only.
If you are developing an application in any language, you should
    follow those rules, meaning:
    - Code installed on users computer is easy accessible
    - Data stored locally is easy accessible, even if it
encrypted using any symmetric-key encryption, because the
encrypting algorithm and encryption key is in your source code (you
could probably write a book on using public-key encryption so let's
just leave it for now ;)
Point 6 -> Is a valid one. All your app security should
relay on the EncryptedLocalStore. But it is your job to get the
data securely into the ELS, because there is no point to encrypt
    data that can be intercepted.

nowadays have many user have problem with update to ios7 and need active with apple id maybe in the future in order escape from these problems must be stop use these products else. Because of simple user don't know about this technology and sometime just hear from other user that it 's difficult to use then force they change phone that use to handle to another.

It is a feature to discourage the theft of iPhones by making them useless if resold. It's not going anywhere. It's simple: just don't buy a phone until you make sure that the activation lock has been disabled.
