FF 13.0.1 - Constant 301, 302 redirects and pages not loading up... Has anyone encountered the same issue? I hate having to go back using IE

That i log in my Gmail, Hotmail, Facebook and the CMS of my Joomla 1.5 website, i keep on getting issues such as 301 or 302 redirects...
When i went to input.mozilla.org/feedback , the page showed completely blank....
I hate having to use IE as my second browser...

Hi,
Are the sites working in IE?? You can consider the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems Reset Firefox] feature via '''Help''' ('''Alt''' + '''H''') > '''Troubleshooting Information'''.
(To revert to the previous profile, close the new profile, start Firefox and choose the '''*.default''' profile. While the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles Profile Manager] is open, you can also delete the newly reset profile (the one containing random numbers)).

  • Bought an iPhone5 from Dubai a week ago and am having a constant problem with the touchscreen going haywire. It starts flickering and apps keep opening and closing. Did a hard reset, restore, numerous times, same issue. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

    The local retailer Sharaf DG needs 10 days to check the issue, not helpful at all. I spent more money to buy it from the retailer instead of the online store, and when I called Apple support they said they couldn't help me as I bought the phone from the retailer and not online. I'm extremely disappointed as this is my first iOS device and I've been told about how the iPhone is bulletproof. Guess i got a lemon.

    Ok Guys, got the device back. Service centre said they replaced the Display and touch panel. I would have preferred a new phone, but whatever. I just hope this does it and the problem is fixed. @Robo, I've also got a new nano-SIM from the carrier, so hopefully now anything that can cause the phone to go crazy, is fixed.
    Will update everyone in a week to confirm that the issue is resolved. Many thanks for everyone's responses.

  • Folder Redirection policy is not applied to a user, when the server target is changed, but works after resetting the windows profile.

    Folder Redirection policy is not applied to a user, when the server target is changed.
    After server target is changed via group policy, when user login  (roaming profile)first time, the the new server target has not been applied, instead it's pointing to the old folder redirection path.
    But if we reset the windows profile (roaming ), the new folder redirection works, can you please specify a solutions that the new folder redirection works when the user login for the first time. so it reduce the time on resetting users profile.
    it seems that we need to delete the old folder redirection path from the user profile (roaming user profile) via group policy or similar solutions..
    Many Thanks

    >   But when the specific users login they all get the same error, it
    Is the old server removed from the domain? Seems so - or some other
    authentication related issue, hard to tell from here...
    > seems that the roaming user profiles still keeps the old server details,
    Yes - if you change redirection targets, FR moves content from old to
    new, and only if this ends sucessfully, it will update the redirection
    target.
    Make the old redirection target accessible to the user and you'll be fine.

  • How can I create a redirect - on page not found?

    I have asked this before but things have changed since....
    I am editing a site on a NON-LINUX server, one which can use VB code...
    The problem is that there are a lot of obsolete pages and I want to remove them
    I want to put a sitewide function in place so that if anyone types in an obsolete page through the whole site then it redirects to a single page with an apology and a link to the home page of the site...
    Someone said it could be done on a linux server, but this is not one of those... so please could someone explain IF and HOW it could be achieved on another server...
    Thank you
    Terry

    What you are asking for sounds like a 404 error page.  That's easy.  In the IIS manager navigate to the site you are managing and change the path of the 404 error page for that site to one you have created.  If you are on a shared host you should be able to edit the web.config file like:
    <configuration>
      <system.web>
        <customErrors defaultRedirect=”http://mysite.com/errors/Error.aspx” mode=”RemoteOnly”>
           <error redirect=”http://mysite.com/errors/404.aspx” statusCode=”404″ />
        </customErrors>
      </system.web>
    </configuration>

  • Not able to view blog entry on website...redirected to page not found.

    Please help, I'm beyond frustrated! I've recently established a blog on my website. I currently use godaddy as a hosting site. We updated the site and moved all of the files over, however, when you click on the blog page from the website and then click on read more to actually read the entry, you get redirected to a "page not found" screen. I'm so confused, because both godaddy and apple support are unable to pinpoint the problem. Please, please help! Thanks!!!
    If you want to take a look at the issue, the website is www.cakealicioussweets.com.

    You also choose to move your pages out of the folder with the sitneame : Cakealicous
    That will get you and your visitors in trouble.

  • Igoogle costantly redirects and will not open why? Cookies are ok.

    Whenever I enter igoogle in the address box or click on igoogle in the bookmark bar a box appears with a message stating, redirected, do not try again as it will not work or words to that effect. How do I access igoogle? Tracking cookie are not blocked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    See:
    *Firefox > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
    The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

  • Has anyone seen the new 'killing hazard' redirect virus/trojan?

    I have been getting since 9/26 a new redirect-style virus/trojan. It masquerades as a "popup" antivirus. Any attempt to kill the popup (click on the right-corner exit, etc) starts the virus-scanning operation of the fake anti-virus. I have flagfox, which says that the page is chinese. I must kill Firefox to eliminate the page. I have run malwarebytes with a completely updated database, with no malware detected.
    Full text for the popup window
    Warning!
    On your computer detected the malicious code.
    Should immediately make sure that your system is safe! Killing Hazard (R) for Microsoft Windows XP immediately started to work

    I had the same problem and found out that the virus changed my router's settings: instead of the correct setting DNS Address "Get Automatically from ISP", the virus changed it to a specific DNS server: 213.109.69.44
    I realized that something must be wrong with my router when all my devices (including my iPhone) were being redirected to the fake anti-virus web page when connecting to the internet through that router.

  • Redirecting when page NOT FOUND error occurs

    Does anyone now a way to redirect the client to a certain page whenever he encounters 404 NOT FOUND errors?
    I do not want to use a custom response page, I just want to redirect to a URL. The reason is our clients are WAP clients, and they do not see a page with text/html MIME type.
    Or any other solution might be a custom response page with a MIME type with vnd.wap.wml. Is it possible?

    Yes, it's possible. The simplest way is probably to add an Error directive such as the following to obj.conf:<Object name=default>
    Error code="404" fn="set-variable" set-srvhdrs="Location: /notfound.wml" error="302" stop="true"
    </Object>

  • Anyone get the Firefly 302 to work?

    I've seen several comments about the Phonic Firefly 302 plus and mac software. I have an 08 iMac running snow leopard and I cannot get the firewire Firefly 302 to work. In utilities/audio, all the device settings are grayed out and I cannot set it as an input. I manually set it in garageband, but the audio is very weak and sometimes not usable at all. I emailed their tech support, but didn't get a reply yet. Anyone else get this thing to work? If not, is there another firewire interface that has 1/4", XLR, and rca inputs in the $100 range?
    Message was edited by: Jhammer1

    I'm using a guitar plugged into the 1/4" input. The signal is extremely weak when it's there, even with the gain settings up high. Sometimes there's no signal at all. I've read several places, including here, where other people had the same issue.

  • Cookies and page redirection

    The following refers to a site I'm working on based on Weblogic 6.1 and IIS
              4.0 :
              I'm currently having difficulties with a site I'm working on where we need
              to check if a visitor has got cookies disabled and redirect them to another
              page to ask them to switch these on.
              I've tried using JSP in an include file at the top of every page on the site
              to do this by writing a test cookie and then trying to read it immediately
              to see
              if the visitor has cookies enabled and then do a response.sendRedirect if
              they don't.
              Unfortunately, JSP can't seem to write a test cookie and then immediately
              read it back
              again in the same response.
              To get round this I used Javascript in an include file to do the same thing
              and then
              tried to do a redirect using location.href = 'cookies.htm' to redirect to
              the cookies
              information page. This works in IE and Netscape 6 but not Netscape 4.
              Netscape 4 redirects to the cookies.htm page but still continues to process
              the remainder
              of the page it was originally trying to open and this causes problems.
              I found a workaround to this which was to include a further bit of
              Javascript at the foot
              of each page for the benefit of Netscape 4 which did a redirect using the
              same method after
              checking a Javascript variable set at the top of the page if cookies were
              disabled.
              This is less than ideal because in Netscape 4 the page attempted to be
              opened displays
              briefly before the redirect at the foot of the page is fired.
              By the way I have to check if cookies are enabled in Netscape 4 by writing a
              test cookie
              because, unlike IE and NN6, Netscape 4 does not support the property
              navigator.cookieEnabled.
              Is there a reliable way for IE, NN4 and NN6 using JSP at the top of every
              page in my site
              to check if someone has cookies disabled, and if so, redirect them to
              another page ?
              Cheers
              Dave

    You can set a default home page at group level in Oracle Portal. Upon login through the custom login portlet, the user will be taken to the group home page for his/her default group.
    Note :
    It will work with the login link as well but you need to change the scope of the login link from current page to default home page :

  • Windows 8 Folder Redirection/offline files not working

    I am trying to deploy 4 brand new HP Laptops running windows 8 Professional into a windows 2008 domain however folder redirection is not working
    These users have folder redirection enabled via group policy and this works fine under their old laptops in windows 7
    For windows 8 I see an error in the event log :
    Error 7023 - The offline files service terminated with the following error : the system cannot find the path specified
    I also get this error if I manually try to start the offline files service.
    This is happening on all 4 brand new laptops. All latest available updates installed.

    I am trying to deploy 4 brand new HP Laptops running windows 8 Professional into a windows 2008 domain however folder redirection is not working

    I also get this error if I manually try to start the offline files service.
    This is happening on all 4 brand new laptops. All latest available updates
    installed.
    The error as you have already observed is a critical error  blocking the service from running. So that must be about the computer software configuration.
    You claim brand new, latest updates etc. - however to use i.e. folder redirection, gpo's etc. you're modifying the software configuraton. I.e. not quite brand new or unchanged (except for those may be important changes, guess those machines are indeed brand
    new or just bought ... however still in change as any other software managed machines)
    For some reason could be corruption of system configuration, but how? Unlike coincidence of 3 of 4 computers failing to start that services? I.e. have you done any changes to offline files etc, scripts or some stuff with gpo's.
    Try exploring the Windows log and take a look at the detail for the error events.
    Use process monitor from Microsoft to trace what happens when you try to start the Windows service ...
    Just tips for determining the bug ...
    Out-of-the-box this should not happen ... for folder redirection and offline files ... it's actually the Windows client going to get those files ... so take a look at the client and try to trace the bug.
    My best guess is something is changed on the client - and your customized system or software is doing it. Or something wrong with the configuration. I.e. if you have relocated the CSC cache ...
    In my experience the best way to debug this problem is to use Process Monitor ... and i.e. come up with a fix based on the observations i.e. if you have relocated the csc cache to some place where it is actually not available or incorrectly configured
    (i.e. take a look at the Result column and looked for failed operations in context with CSC cache operations)
    If you don't know how to do this - don't relocate the CSC cache ... (i.e. if you did this to conserve space on i.e. your SDD's with i.e. smaller capacity than legacy-HD). The real problem is the Folder Redirection Client on the Window Client going to
    pin the entire folder hierarchy of the users workspace, i.e. documents. Either move files out of that area or use group policy to disable pining entire user "storage area". Microsoft should make the Folder Redirection Client more flexiable, i.e. add option
    to exclude part of folder hierarchy. But you can do this by using gpo to disable folder redirection auto-cache of all files - and then instead have users explicitly pin their mobile folders. However for some folders like favorites, desktop and so on you can
    actually use batch and wmic to set pin of some folders containing usually less data using a startup script and gpo. That Works ... and simulates i.e. excluding the stored data in user libraries like documents, videos, music ...
    ... anyway added this based on a "suspension" on what you are really trying to obtain ... but the solution is not to move the CSC cache to aqquire more space, i.e. a user can put 1 TB in their videos ... the solution is to program the Folder Redirection
    Client differently ... untill Microsoft add that functionality.
