FF 18.01 will not print-Says printer needs to be installed. Already installed

When I go print a page from a website, The error message states that there is no printer do you want to install a printer.
1- System shows that there is a printer, it works.
2- Nothing happens if say yes (install)

Funky, it isn' the HP Printer. I have had the same problem with Firefox v 12-18 (which is why I don't use Firefox...would really like to use firefox.) I have RESET PRINTER till I'm blue in the face. I have used HP, Samsung, Brother, and Epson printers that all print in IE explorer just fine, but won't print in firefox. I have had three different firewalls as well. So if someone has a clue other than to RESET PRINTER, please give it a shot......and by the way, I can't find "print.print_printer" in Config either. There is a "print_printer" but nothing else. I post this same problem every year, but no one seems to have an answer.......so I go back to IE explorer - yuck. Please, please don't tell me to RESET PRINTER.........

I've used iTunes for a year and downloaded the new software 7.01--it will not run, says I need to install new version of Quick time. I removed all versions of iTunes off my computer and reinstalled iTunes with same result--Need to install new version of Quick Time. I did this and Quick time said--Can't install because a more current version of Quick time is already installed. Catch 22? Is this a do loop of apple frustration or what? i can take pictures off my phone but thats it, i have some nice programs for pictures and art work and cant get them back on my phone to send them to friends and family. To check the iOS, go to Settings - General - About - Version = ???
For model number check the back, A1213 is 1st gen, A1288 is 2nd gen, A1318 is 3rd gen.

My son has Lion installed and I misunderstood what he told me about the download. (I had presumed it saved the download as a .dmg that you could reuse)
Reinstalling in Snow Leopard or Lion should not delete any of your personal stuff but it is always wise to have a Backup.
If when you highlight iChat in the Applications Folder and do a Get Info (CMD + I keys together) AND the change to 64 bit is not staying are you doing it from an Admin Users Account ?
(the App will not stay highlighted if you press CMD and I separately)

Itunes is saying i need quicktime that is already installed

Can someone help??? I am not very technical...safari went missing from my dock today and I did everything to get it back but couldn't...so I reinstalled the disks that came with the mac and got safari back but now my itunes wont open and it says I need quicktime that I know came installed and is showing in my dock.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

Try to open firefox but will not open, try to uninstall firefox but will not, it says it need to bo closed first,what to do?

look i downloaded firefox and now i can'n get it backup or uninstall it, when i try to unistall it tell me to close the program, so i cant get on there to close it, please help, like to fix problem and reinstall.

I too have had this problem a few times with several different versions of FF.
What you need to do is to open a window to Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and on the 'Processes' tab look down the list for Firefox, highlight the entry, then click "End Process". Accept the warning that pops up. You should then be able to uninstall.

I have popped the cartridges out & back in to get it to print twice, but now that doesn't work. Is the problem in my printer or have the drivers installed on my iMac become corrupted? I have the CD that came with the printer but to reinstall the drivers I would need to uninstall the ones on my iMac. I don't know how to do that. Does anyone know how to uninstall printer drivers? My OS is OSx but I don't know which version. My iMac is 3.5 years old.

The Quiz Results slide will always pause and there's no way to prevent that. Look at its timeline and you can see a faint vertical line that indicates the pause point. You can use your mouse to move this sideways and delay the pause untill objects enter the timeline. But the rest of the slide beyond that pause point will only play once you click the Continue button. If you have set a very long duration for the Quiz Results slide, then once you click Continue, what you see as the Continue button not working could just be the timeline continuing to play until it reaches the end of the slide. Watch the scrub bar on the playback bar to see if it's moving.
Once the slide is paused the user has to click one of the buttons on that slide to move elsewhere. If your Continue button is not working, the usual reason is that you have the Quiz > Settings > Required option set to something that will prevent the learner from moving beyond the Quiz Results slide until they fulfil some kind of requirement (e.g. answer all questions or pass the quiz). So check that setting.

I would start but suggesting you power cycle the printer. You can do this by following these steps:
While the printer is still on, unplug the power cord from the printer, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Once plugged back in the printer should power on automatically.
You also may try restoring the network defaults and re-connecting your printer back to your wireless network. If you are still experiencing issues you may also want to disable and re-enable Web Services.

You don't. Since you have an Intel Mac, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.
