FF 26.0: I can not pause downloads anymore

Much to my horror, Firefox 26.0 does not support the old style download manager anymore :( Really can not believe that they stick to this new, totally not clear download thing :(
Anyway, I used the browser.download.useToolkitUI in about:config and that worked great. This is no longer working so I did set it to False. But with using that new download "manager" I only have a "Stop download" button and then a "Restart download". There is no "Resume download" anymore.
Did start FF in Safe Mode but it is the same then: no more "Resume download".
Either I did mess up something or Firefox developers did screw up the FF Download "manager" even more? For now I assume I did mess up something ....

@meegja, Upon right clicking the pause option seems to be greyed out and is unusable whatsover

I got this error with my iPad 3, my wife's iPhone 4, but not with my iPhone 4s.

Component can not be downloaded

Every 15 minutes I get a pop-up 'component can not be downloaded'. There's no information about the component or app. I installed ios8 on my ipad2. Install ios8.0.2 has no solution. Even a complete restore to factory settings as a new iPad, gives no solution.

Every app that you buy or get for free in appstore/itunes belongs to you and can be downloaded on up to 10 devices or saved on up to 5 computers. Instructions to download apps to new devices here

Here comes a "BUT" - imagine your kid playing game and getting to level 51 and have to start over from level one. Or imagine that history that you have in your CNN app. That is what icloud backup contains. My 500 scifi books are in one of the app backups and I REALLY do not want to lose it. That is what you would turn off.

I would be concerned too if I was not able to gain access to my iPad. If you are unsure what your Apple ID is, you can find the steps in this article:

Back up your computer first. After installing, run Software Update to update everything to the newest versions available.
Check your computer's system specifications but you may have the option for a free upgrade/update to OSX 10.9 Mavericks, though you may want to stick with 10.6 for a while. Higher systems usually run slower on older machines and I personally would stay with Snow Leopard until I was forced to change again.

1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:

2, Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
3. Did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

How do I just remove the current update to 3.6.12 and go back to an earlier version as I can not take the continual freeze ups ever few mins.? If this continues I will remove Firefox totally and switch to another browser I can not take this anymore.

I can NOT take the continual freeze ups of my entire browser even worse when updating a page let alone just opening email. I closed the browser and have had to use even just microsoft or Google since this Firefox has gotten so horrible...
I clear my history and my cache so many times a day I can not keep track anymore and that is insane to have to do it as many times as I am even worse that it does not help in the least!
I have used Firefox for years now but if I have to remove it and switch to a different one by the days end I will and I will post in Facebook to all my friends who I had switch to Firefox what and why though some have already just switched to other browsers.

First, that cannot be an iBook G4 as that machine cannot run Snow Leopard let alone Mountain Lion. To run Snow Leopard it has to be an Intel processor, not a G4. What does it show as the Model Identifier in About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Model Identifier?
Second, if you have erased the hard drive there should not be remnants of any prior content. Even though Disk Warrior is saying nothing is wrong with the hard drive, it sounds as though there are problems. You may want to consider simply replacing the hard drive so there are no questions about faults. A good source is OWC, http://www.macsales.com where they also have on-line videos showing how to do the replacement.
Third, you could also try again to restart using the Snow Leopard DVD/CD and use Disk Utility on that install disk to erase again, and do it a couple times, then try to install. If it continues to refuse, then it sounds as though there is a fault with the hard drive.
