FF-4 will not launch, all I get is a blank window.

I tried the FF 4 Beta a month ago, but it crashed and I removed it. Then I saw the popup today announcing it as a regular release, so I thought it was 'fixed'. But I got the exact same problem. First seconds of launching for the first time, I can see the basic toolbars but without textures or backgrounds. Then it looked like a second window launched only all blank. The first window was gone, and from that point re-launching would only get me a blank white window. And my entire computer was running really slow. I finally got the process killed and un-installed. But I had to use IE to find a downgrade thread where a link to version 3 was posted. I have XP Home, SP 3, all updates, AMD 1.6 Ghz, 2 Gig RAM, no video card (on board)

Apparently the display is required to be HDCP compatible to view HD movies in iTunes. My display isn't so this is my problem. I contacted Apple support and they have agreed to credit me for the HD movie and I have now downloaded the SD version.

Remove "MacKeeper" as follows. First, back up all data.
"MacKeeper" is a scam with only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
If you have incompletely removed MacKeeper—for example, by dragging the application to the Trash and emptying—then you'll have to reinstall it and start over.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
☞ Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
☞ Don't empty the Trash. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
☞ Don't try to drag the MacKeeper Dock icon to the Trash.

2011 Macbook pro safari will not open & all i get is a spinning wheel

I updated my computer and ever since, my safari will not load. all I get is a color spinning wheel. Other apps will not open either. I have done internet recovery, and started in safe mode. I do not know what else to do. I can not get online to redownload since safari doesn't work. I can not even reset safari. please any help appreciated

There are several possible causes for this issue. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, testing after each one, until it's resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Follow the directions in this support article.
Step 2
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Select the iCloud keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password.
Select
          Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
Step 3
Open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the Keychain box. You'll be prompted to delete the local iCloud keychain. Confirm. Then re-check the box. Follow one of the procedures described in this support article to set up iCloud Keychain on an additional device.
Step 4
Open the Keychains folder as in Step 1. There should be a file in that folder with the name "login.keychain". If there is also a file iwith the name "login_renamed_1.keychain", then please do as follows:
☞ Rename login.keychain to "login-old.keychain".
☞ Rename login_renamed_1.keychain to "login.keychain".
You can then close the folder.
Delete the login keychain from the keychain list in Keychain Access. Choose
           Delete References
when prompted, not Delete References & Files.
Select
          File ▹ Add Keychain...
from the menu bar. Add back the file now named "login.keychain". If any of your needed keychain items are missing from it, also add back the file now named "login-old.keychain". I suggest you transfer any needed items from that keychain to the login keychain, then delete it. The transfers are made by drag-and-drop in Keychain Access. You'll need to enter your password for each item transferred.
Run Keychain First Aid again. Quit Keychain Access.

I used "Migration Assistant" to send everything from my old mac to my new which included my copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional. I tried downloading an update but when it asked me to find the version of acrobat to replace it was grayed out and I was unable to select it. My OS is 10.9.4

My I Pod will not download all content to my laptop. running windows 7 and I Pod ver. 6.1.6.

What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

You can only sync to one computer/iTunes library so try:
Backing up the iPOd and then restore from that backup
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes

Photoshop elements 13 will not launch after I agree to licensing agreement, window just closes

Essmsh will not launch in any directory outside of bin (Windows 7)

Just installed the Essbase client and EAS on my Windows 7 x64 laptop (Version 11.1.1.3).
I've probably installed client tools on 10 different PCs from XP to Vista to W7, and this is the first time I've seen this issue:
The Essbase client installed correctly (for the most part), but I can't launch essmsh from anywhere except c:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\bin .
I've tried multiple re-installations, and something is still broken. I assume this is an issue with the environmental variables, but I took a quick peek and things look mostly fine.
Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for debugging this.

I actually got this to work by doing the following:
Copy (don't cut) the following files:
essmsh.exe
libmaxlu.dll
essmaxlu.dll
bpmmaxlu.dll
(after you copy essmsh.exe, if you try to run it, it will tell you what .dll files your are missing one-by-one)
from:
Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\bin
to
Hyperion\products\ExcelAddin\bin
Now, esssmsh works fine from any directory.
I still think the moral of the story is: Don't install on an unsupported OS :-)

I am unable to play a downloaded HD movie from iTunes. SD movies play OK. An error popped up saying something about the display not suitable for HD movies but now all I get is a blank window. I have tried changing the display resolution to no avail.

I have tried changing the display resolution several times but it didn't help. Now it just comes up with a blank screen when I attempt to play it. SD movies work fine. I have the latest version of iTunes installed.

X-FI AUDIO CONSOLE WILL NOT LAUNCH

have ran x-fi card fine for 3 months and after re-installing it after moving it for new graphics card the audio console will not launch ! I get the message device not on this computer even though its working fine i just cannot launch the console to adjust settings ! have checked no old drivers left, onboard sound is disabled and device manager says no probs with x-fi card . HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!

Mine hasn't been resetting....so far. I know mines a Fatalty but sw wise it should be same for all the cards. The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with option for syncing with control panel. I have that option unchecked in the creative mixer speakers tab. Maybe try disabling it if its currently enabled and see if that stops the resetting. No idea if it will help but thats the only thing I can think of, can't hurt to at least give it a shot.

So I recently had my MacBookPro's video card take a dump, it was apparnetly a bad video card and it was replaced. When I got my Mac back from the store FCP would not open. I uninstalled the entire thing and reinstalled everything. FCP is working wonderfully but Motion will not launch. I get "The application Motion quite unexpectdly" when I try to open it, and I have old Motion files on my hard drives that I can't even get to import into FCP (it says they are unrecognized files). I'm using FCP 7, Motion 4, OS X 10.5.8, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4G memory (just upgraded from 2G), I know it's really old but it's all I got! Any ideas?

Itunes will not launch on Windows Vista no error code

Itunes will not launch on my computer. I have windows vista. I have uninstalled and downloaded itunes repeatedly. I have also tried all of the troubleshooting tips available on the apple support site. But none of them worked. Quicktimes works fine. It is just itunes. I even opened up task manager to check the processes and itunes appears for about a second in the processes tab then just disappears. I have no idea what to do i have an iphone 3gs and havent updated it for a few months now and cannot sync my iphone without itunes. I Have kaspersky internet protection but i doubt thats the problem because itunes was working fine until i updated it.PLEASE HELPPPPPP!

Presumably the configuration fails to complete, so every time you start iTunes it has another go.
As iTunes works normally when you plug in your iPod, you should be able to work round this by creating a new iTunes short cut.
Go to Program Files\iTunes and right click on iTunes.exe. Select: Send to>>Desktop(create shortcut). If you are lucky you will be able to open iTunes using this short cut.
However this work around does not fix the underlying problem that WIndows fails to complete configuring iTunes.

5.0.2 Will Not Launch The Organizer in Vista

I have Photoshop Elements 5.0.2 for Vista. It has been running great for 2yrs, then it broke. Repeated uninstall/installs have not cured the problem. Organizer will not launch and I get error message: The action you have requested could not be completed because the application is not responding. It may be loading or waiting for a response from you.
Can anyone help.Something clobbered Elements and I cannot get a clean uninstall/install. I even deleted remnants left in the /Adobe/Phtotshop Elements/ subdirectory.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
