FF crashes regularly, Adobe plugins crash FF/hang FF,

Scrolling will cause crash, clicking a link will cause crash, opening new tab will cause crash, and just sitting quietly and looking at the screen without doing anything will cause crash.
Adobe plugins won't open and cause crashes and hangs. (And the instructions in FF Support to go to Adobe and "click on logo" is garbage- there is no logo on the page linked in FF.)
FF is the latest version, being run on Windows 7 Home Premium
Using Avast, Spybot S&D, Malwarebytes.
Stand-alone Adobe products work fine

  • Firefox keeps crashing, and adobe plugin crashing, too?

So, for a few days now, Firefox has been extremely touchy. It would crash at random times, but now, it crashes whenever I try to type something. It has gotten progressively worse. Also, I cannot play videos, as "Adobe Plugin has crashed". This isn't just once or twice. This is every video on every site. Please help!
If it's of any correlation, I was getting bluescreens and such earlier.

I am a webdesigner and developer. I always use firefox for building sites. One day I opened Firefox and from that day is crashing all the time. I open firefox and after 30 seconds will crash for sure ... also when I am building my site [http://www.betsearch.gr Stoixima] on my local enviroment is crashing too when I preview my site ... I unistall it and later install again and is keep crashing ... all the other browsers play good ...
I am very upset cause I love FIREFOX ... specially when I am creating my websites ...

  • Adobe plugin crashes in Firefox

Help! I keep getting an Adobe plugin has crashed messages, my computer is very slow, especially in games. I've had my connection checked, and also my computer. Neither has a problem. I've sent multiple crash reports, as suggested, and they say to install an older version of Flash Player. I currently use the most recent version of both Firefox and Adobe Flash Player (11.3.300.271?). Every time I try to install an older version, I get a window that says I'm not installing the latest version, and to check the Adobe web page for the most recent update! I'm stuck in a loop with no apparent way out! Can anyone help me?
    Thanks.

Does anyone actually read the problem? The fix is to load a previous version of shockwave, but your website won't let us!! I'm having the same problem, I HAVE THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF BOTH SHOCKWAVE AND FIREFOX, yet shockwave crashes multiple times a day, sometimes multiple times an hour! The only way that I can use my laptop, at all, is to restart it everytime it crashes. Please get a fix for this!

  • FireFox Crashes Using Adobe Plugin

Only on version 3.6 and above our Firefox will crash with the Adobe Plugin open. When we run our reports it generates a PDF inside Firefox and then once we click on any other areas in the web browser it locks it up and then crashes. We are using the DoJo toolkit for many design features on the site but we have yet to determine the cause of the crashes, all we know it only happens with the Adobe Plugin 7 or 9 (haven't tested 8) with Firefox 3.6 and above.

  • Adobe Plugin Crash

My Adobe Flasher Player plugin keeps crashing and I get a warning message : A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flasher Player to run slowly. If it continues your computer may become unresponsive.
Do you want to abort this script.Yes or No.When the plugin crashes in the lower left hand corner it shows Javascript :LoadPuzzle0; ?

First I'd check to see if your system is functioning normally.  Run both a virus and malware scan (www.malwarebytes.org).  If scripts are timing out on your system, especially on sites like FarmVille that are visited hundreds of thousands of times a day, then I suspect something is going on specific to your setup.
What browser and OS are you using?  Have you tried different browsers?  What version of Flash Player are you using?
    Flash Player Version
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • When I attempt to attach a file to Juno email, I get Adobe plugin crash about 50% of time. I can end firefox, restart juno and attach file will work on first attempt.

For later attach attempts, the plugin crashes. This has been ongoing problem for several months. About 3-4 months ago, there was a firefox update version that fixed this problem. However, it has occurred again for most recent 2 or 3 Firefox updates. I have changed Adobe setting dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs to "-1" but this does not eliminate the problem. Please provide location for log files, crash reports, etc., that I might find and provide to developers for problem resolution. Thank you.

Anyone know how to read a crash report?
I can print with Lightroom, there is nothing wrong with the printer, or the file.  But I want to print with Photoshop without a crash.  Besides, Lightroom doesn't give me access to all of my print settings.
Hoping someone can help, I"m exasperated.....

  • Adobe plugin crash - one user profile only

    HI
I have been using adobe flash with no problems until yesterday.  I go onto facebook and the page loads but when I go to "home " on facebook a message states flash plugin has crashed reload again. I was using IE but loaded Mozilla firefox.  I uninstalled flash and reloaded and still same problem.
I logged on to another user name  on the same laptop and the problem did not occur.  How can I fix this ? Should I just create a new user ?

    I'd try Refreshing Firefox first:
Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings | Firefox Help
If that doesn't work, you might give the Firefox ESR a spin.  Mozilla has been experimenting on their own recently with a number of changes that impact Flash.
Firefox Extended Support Release FAQ — Mozilla
If that doesn't work, do you have better results with Google Chrome, or are you seeing similar problems across multiple browsers?

  • Firefox 11 Crashing Regularly on OS X Snow Leopard

After upgrading to FF 11, the browser crashes regularly. It usually happens on pages with some sort of flash on it, whether it be a video page or even a page with flash ads. I have tried turning off the hardware option in flash. I tried turning any video downloading plugins off. I have also tried running in safe mode.
Safe mode works best, but it will eventually crash after some time. I am able to surf in Safari with no problems, which leads me to believe the problem is not with flash, but with FF 11 and flash.
FF 11 crashes so hard, I am unable to get a Crash ID as my whole machine freezes and I have to do a hard restart.

  • I have updated Adobe flash plug-in but it continues to crash. It has crashed on me over 3 times in the last hour; why is that? Is it firefox?

I have updated Adobe flash plug-in more than once, but it continues to crash. It always does it right in the middle of a game or something I'm playing. Now, I pay real money to play these games so that I can purchase certain things, so this is now frustrating me. If it's firefox that keeps adobe crashing please let me know so that I can go back to using internet explorer.'''bold text'''

  • Why do you give contradicting advice on Adobe Flash crashing?

I have recently updated to latest version of Firefox, then also to latest version of Adobe Flash (11.3). My games (not fb games) & some videos from articles in my homepage have continually crashed. I'm tired of sending 'crash reports' but nothing being done. So I came here to find out & saw that YOU recommended uninstalling Adobe Flash 11.3 & instead install earlier version of either 10.3 or 11.2--with 10.3 having all the security patches. Well I did (10.3) & when I click on the 'check your plugins' from here, you tell me I need to UPdate my version of Flash Player. What???
You have totally confused me now. What do you suggest NOW? I pay money for these games on my PC & the crashes are really getting to the point that I don't want to play them or even try to watch the video news from my homepage anymore! Please get back to me on this with some kind of solution.
    Thank You So Much
    Peace & Blessings

    Hi PatTra,
    Sorry you are having problems.
Uninstall Flash 11.3 using adobe's installer and reinstall either the secure version 10.3 or take a risk on the less secure, but better featured 11.2. Follow the instructions in
    * [[flash 11.3 crashes]]
If you have any type of RealPayer software installed please mention that. (I note you did not paste troubleshooting information in when you asked the question)
Please read the article, try the downgrade and post back with how you get on.
    Hope that helps, <br/>John

It is helpful to submit crash reports, but you will not normally not get any specific reply about a solution. If you need a solution then you should look at
*[[Firefox crashes - Troubleshoot, prevent and get help fixing crashes]]
*and [[Send plugin crash reports to help Mozilla improve Firefox]]
I think Firefox could make that clear when users submit crash reports, but I suspect the thinking is that this support forum would be totally overwhelmed if any more than a minute proportion of crashes resulted in a forum visit and potentially a question being asked.

  • Adobe flash player either hangs or crashes in Firefox

Adobe flash player either hangs up the web browser Firefox or crashes within Firefox.  This has been occurring for about a year even though Firefox and the adobe flash player have been updated and upgraded many times over the last year.  Multiple crash reports have been sent to either Adobe or Firefox (I am not sure which one actually gets the crash report) but it appears someone knows about this issue since I seem to be getting more pop up boxes from Firefox now when the Windows 7 system seems to hang (no response from mouse when I try to close the Firefox browser window).  The pop up box states that Adobe flash player is not responding or in a loop so when I respond to the pop up window to cancel the task all the flash player displays in all of the open Firefox browser sessions crash.  However, if I use google chrome and the same ESPN videos that use Adobe flash player so far I have not seen the same issue of hangs or crashes.  So, is this a known issue with Adobe flash player and/or Firefox or has it just never been fixed correctly?

I use Firefox, which is a leading browser, I think we'd say, and I think I had far fewer plug-ins until I updated to the new Adobe Flash Player today.  As for your challenge to come up with a plugin, I'm a poor sucker who's developed nothing more in my lifetime that Word and Excel docs. I'm totally at the mercy of what all software developers throw at the public.  As for crap on my computer, I've tried to get rid of everything I can, crap or not, just in case it could affect Adobe Crash. Do you see anything here that looks suspicious?
