FF logs problem -- No detail description when languages are different

Hello Gurus ,
we have a problem when creating the logs in FF tool . There are users that are logging in FF in English language and users that logon with German . When generating the logs i have to logon in the 2 languages to see all the details. If logon in German i dont see the detailed logs from the persons that used FF in English.
We have FF 5.2 with SP04 . Is there any suggestion ? or do i have to wait until we update to GRC 5.3 ?

I would suggest that you upgrade AC 5.2 to the latest Service Pack to see if that resolves your problem
AC 5.2 SP10 is the latest version
RTA NH SP 11 is the latest version
RTA HR SP9 is teh latest version
If these upgrades do not resolve your issues then raise an OSS note to resolve your issue

The output preview does not work when vendor has different communication language then english?
Exact description of the problem described by the functional people:
"For the Latin America countries that use the SMARTFORM today, we have noticed that if the vendor has communication language English, the PO is displayed fine in the Output preview in iShop. However, if the vendor has communication language e.g. ES maintained in the vendor the output preview fails. We would like to have it so that even if the the vendor has a different communication language than EN maintained on the vendor the PO should be able to be displayed in the output preview of the SRM system."
So has enyone encountered this problem before? All help is appriciated!

Logging level that will show when rules are added/changed/deleted?

What level of logging on the ASA will enable the syslog to see when a firewall rule has been changed? I know debugging on the config level should be able to, but I don't want to put my firewall through that level of logging for everything.

Would seem to me that you would be looking for Syslog messages with the following IDs
111008 (level 5 = Notifications)
111009 (level 7 = Debugging)
111010 (level 5 = Notifications)

You can also change a level of a particular Syslog ID without changing the global level configured for certain destination
Lets say you wanted the change the above Debugging level message changed to the Notifications level you would configure
logging message 111009 level notifications
I am not completely sure would you also need to add these to specify how many of such log messages could be generated and in what timeframe. Though there is an option for "unlimited" also.

Dear Sir/Madam Since the wifi is not coming ON how can I open this diagnostic on the iphone 4S am using and having problem with wifi behaving in erratic manner.
Am a professional engineer for projects and am 68 yrs old. At one time was looking after a production line manufacturing I C's in semiconductors manufacturing company of the US.
Have four apple products, one hp laptop and one DELL professional computer at home is used by only two members me and my wife.
Wife prefers working on ipad2 or ipad mini while traveling and has iphone 4. Am using iphone4S with laptop and Dell computer, No apple product is more than two years old.
Am having the problem in using wifi on the 4S after it was upgraded to the latest ios as per the recommendation by your software of my iphone 4S
The wifi card hangs up at it's own will and even a visit to your authorized service center in Delhi has not able to help me although they have reverted the ios back to the
one supplied with the set. Am a user and not a computer expert but it looks like the wifi card is not able to some times take the load while working which could indicate the wifi card is getting heated up.
My daughter who is Masters in 3D Animation is an ardent fan of apple products working at present in Canada was also gifted by me a 4S about 4 months back. My daughter-in-law is using iphone4 and an ipad for her professional works along with a Dell PC in the US. While my son is a fan of samsung products and does not like an apple product.
So in a family we have 7 apple products except MAC laptop/PC.
But the fact is, this problem with 4S has really shaken me up and now it seems your products are deteriorating in quality while demanding the best pricing structures.
Since this is purely the device and the software of apple problem you may please replace this set with new one as neither have any time to push you/ request you after your service centre
in Delhi told me yesterday this cannot be repaired.
The serial No of my set is DN*****TC0 and was bought from an authorized dealer and so were the other products from the same dealer in Delhi. This set is still in showroom condition and
was never used without a protective cover.

Problem getting from server when there are large attachments

Hello,
Using mail I have problems downloading pop mail from the server if there are messages with "large" (10MB) attachments. To solve the problem I have to login via webmail and delete the messages,. This has happened twice already. Using outlook via windows I have no such problems.
During these blocks no mail gets through, it's like the mail app does not see mail on the server.
Any solutions?

"String to IP" can be configured to return multiple (all) addresses. Just right-click the primitive and select "Multiple Output". You can then use IP to String to get the IP addresses in a more readable form.
To know which of the 2 is the connection to your server you need to have some knowledge. If you know it starts with "10." you can just pick the IP address that matches this pattern.

How can I get itunes to play one album from start to finish, especially when there are different artists on it?

How can I get itunes just to play albums from beginning to end? Often if an artist has a guest artist, or there are 'various artists' on the album, it stores them all separately, so listening from beginning to end becomes not one click away, but a multitude of clicks away just to make a play list which returns the album to its original state. Why can't Apple do this as a default?

SQL reporting - An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError)

I have created an RDL file programatically. When I execute the code I get the error as mentioned below:
Error: Sub report cannot be shown.
An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError)
When I copy and paste the code of RDL file into new RDL file and try to preview the output I get correct result.
Note: The new RDL file does not give any error if the output is seen using preview tab but it gives the error only when executed from report viewer or from internet explorer.
Any Suggestion/feedback is highly appreciated.

i created a SSRS report with shared datasets and uploaded rdl files and rsd files , while trying to map rdl file with data sets i am getting an error

Storing Current Logged on User Details in Web Dynpro Java

Hi Experts,
My GP Process containd 2 steps:
- Create Activity
- Evaluate and Approve
The user creates the Activity and the manager approves it.
I have to make sure the User Details are avaialble for the Manager to see.
How do i store the user details logged on.
I need the "Name", "Date" and "Time" of the user when he creates the Activity.
Can somebody guide me how to do it using Web Dynpro java.????

Make use of background callable object which retrieves the logged in user details. If you are using WD and you need the logged in user infomation use the IWDClient . Code for getting this is there in sap help.

It is based on SAP standard long texts which are stored in a cluster and not a table, not sure what this means but hope it helps

XMLP-PROBLEM IN DISPLAYING TOTALS WHEN LINES HAVE MULTILINE DESCRIPTION.

The Report Totals on documents does not appear at the bottom of the page when we have lines that have multi-line description.
Actually we had restricted the length of each XML page to display 40 lines only. In case if we are not having details of 40 lines then we are filling the remaining space with the empty lines using "FILLER CHECK" concept. The report is working fine if the invoice description is of only a single line.But when the invoice description is of multiple lines(having new line characters or exceedes the maxmimul length) then the invoice's total information is going to the next page.
Can any one of you resolve this issue.

Thanks for your quick response.
Here we cant truncate the invoice description, we have to get the whole in that column itself even it may be single or multiple line description. If we are not going to restrict the length of XML page to 40 lines, we are getting the output correctly. Only the problem arises when we are going to restrict the number of lines per page, i,e if you have fixed that length to 10 lines also we are getting the totals in the next page.

Problems in Master-Detail forms when the detail contains LOVs

I am having problems with master detail forms when the detail contains and lov.
In my detail form I have a messageLovInput field that returns 2 values (code and description). When the lov window returns both values the messageLovInput disappear from the form.
This problem happens only when I iterate in the master view and I try to add a record in the detail form.
If I add a new record without navigation for the master view there is no problem.

Problem with XML Publisher report when there are no detail records.

I am working on an Oracle XML Publisher procurement report (Oracle E-Business Suite R12) that starts with a budget amount that is imported from our financial system, then lists all requisitions and orders that are in process (not approved). The amounts of all those unapproved requisitions/orders are totaled using a Sum form field, to be followed by a field where the unapproved requisition/order total is subtracted from the budget amount (amount available). I am running into a problem when there are no unapproved requisitions. When I run the report for such instances, it completes with a warning -- here is what it states in the OPP log:
oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XPathException: Extension function error: Method not found 'sum'
I have altered my sum field on the RTF template to include an if statement in case of a null value...

You are on right track. Simply put summary field in header group and remember to set reset at property to Header Group Not Child and now you can use this field in format trigger.
Format trigger must be written on header frame.

How to prevent error message for material description in MDG material detail screen, when user click on check action

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement for making material description as non mandetory in change request view of mdg material screen.
I have done that using field usage in get data method of feeder classes, but still message is displaying.
This message 'Material description is mandatory is displaying with check action only, but not with save or submit after i anhance field property as not mandetory.
How to prevent error message for material description in MDG material detail screen, when user click on check action.

Hello Sukumar
In IMG activity "Configure Properties of Change Request Step", you can completely deactivate the reuse area checks (but will then loose all other checks of the backend business logic as well).
You can also set the error severity of the checks from Error to Warning (per CR type, not per check).
Or you provide a default value for the material description, e.g. by implementing the BAdI USMD_RULE_SERVICE.
