FF page expires quickly, 4 to 8 seconds, have to click on page to get it back

While on a page in FF, if I linger more than a few seconds without clicking the mouse the page stops responding. I have to click the mouse to get the cursor back on the page to continue working.

You System Details List shows "browser.newtab.url: about:blank", so you currently have set the about:newtab page to an empty page.
To get the about:newtab page you can reset the browser.newtab.url pref to about:newtab on the about:config page.

When I am surfing the web I have to click on the X to go back several times, then I get a circle and it takes several seconds to go back, Any answers?

When I am surfing the web and wish to go back to the previous site I click on the X. That used to take me back but recently it does not. If I click on it 3, 4 or 5 times the little blue cicle appears from about ten seconds and then it does go back.

What do you mean it has gone gray? Were you trying to update the app and it stalled on you?
Do you backup with iCloud or iTunes on your computer? If you have all of the files backed up then you should be able to delete the app and reinstall it - if needed.

How do I get the top lines i my toolbar back? The top line starting with 'file' on the right and the second line which contained the refersh button as well as the search bar have disappeared. How do I get them back?

How do I stop firefox from refreshing pages constantly? I have to click "back" dozens of times if I'm on a page for more than 15 seconds.

every page on every open tab refreshes every 30 seconds and each time it is saved in my cache. If I want to go back to a previous page, I have to click back once for every 30 seconds I was on the current page. Very annoying!! It just started doing this recently and I don't know why. I did reset the about:config to "0", but that didn't help.

Try a Reset of your Device...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

I feel you. I am having the excat same problem and it is super-anoying.
I have also tried what that bot is suggesting, but I still can't add any webpages to the bookmarks toolbar.
Have you worked out a solution by now?

Windows Explorer was crashing/restarting every few seconds and after trying several different methods of fixes, the only one that worked was removing Firefox, is there something I've missed that I can get Firefox back?

I'm running a Toshiba Satellite laptop that was originally running Windows Vista 32-bit, but was upgraded by me to Windows 7 32-bit. On Windows Vista, all I would run was Firefox. I loved it!!! On Windows 7, I've noticed that Firefox kept hanging whenever I would try to download a file...from anywhere. I got so frustrated I went to try several different browsers. They all worked extremely quickly, whereas Firefox was working so slow, I could click on a link to a page, go get some lunch, come back and it still be trying to load the page. This was drastically unusual for Firefox. I used the other browsers and everything was fine for a week and then Windows Explorer started going down every few seconds. I went to the windows 7 forums and started looking. There were several suggestions on how to fix the problem, none of which worked for my compy. I tried restarting the compy in safe mode. That didn't help. I turned off every startup program except for the essentials and that DID work in keeping Windows Explorer from restarting. I then dove into the tedious task of trying to discern which 3rd party program was the offender. I removed everything from my compy that had been downloaded in the last ten days (well before the windows explorer issue, but not before the firefox issue). That didn't work either. I tried replacing an explorer file, which didn't work either. There were several other things I tried, as well, but nothing worked. Then, I saw a post that Firefox had caused the problem for one person. I went in and did as was suggested and completely removed Firefox and all associated files. Unfortunately, this worked. I haven't had any more trouble with windows explorer restarting. My big problem is, however, I can't run Firefox!!! And I LOVE Firefox!!! It's spoiled me! I hate Internet explorer, which is what I'm forced to run now. I've tried Safari and Google Chrome and don't like either one of those, either. I want my Firefox back! But if it's not working 100% it's less frustrating to be forced to live with the Internet Explorer. I'm going insane, here! Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried clearing out browser history, changing download files and a couple of other things and nothing worked with the Firefox to get it going better before I started having the Windows Explorer difficulty and had to completely erase the Firefox program. If I've missed any info, please don't hesitate to ask!! I'm happy to supply whatever I know about the issue!!

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. When I first set up my tabs, I had google's "first" page saved as a tab. I somehow erased it, and now I can't get it back. It will only save a "search" page.

I have Google as my home page, and I like the "tiles", when I open a new tab. The first "tile", I pinned as Google's home page. so I can quickly, and easily copy (say, a celebrities name), hit tab hit Google and paste.
Now , I have lost the Google home page, and can;t get it back, as a tile. I don't want to change the tabs setting to go straight to Google every time, because I use the other tiles too.
I know it sounds petty, but i got quite used to having that,(and I know I can use bookmarks), but that is much more troublesome for my shaky hands than some people realize.

All you need to do is open a new tab, go to the last tile space at the bottom right of the page and, if it's used, click on the little X at the top right of the tile. Click until the space is empty. You may have to close several tiles before the space becomes empty.
Next, go to the address bar and type in google. The full address should pop up. Hit enter to go to the page. If you have to, type in the full address of google.com and hit enter. When the page loads, (and I'm assuming here that you have your browser set to remember your tabs when you re-open the window - if not see further instructions below), close the browser window. If a warning message pops up that "You are about to close ? many tabs" (where there is a question mark there will be a number), click OK.
Wait 5-10 seconds for the program to completely end and then open your browser again. When you open a new tab, you'll see the Google tile in the bottom right of the tile matrix. Click and drag it to whichever space you want it in and then click the little pin in the top left of the tile.
Voila! You should have your Google tile back. I too suffer from unsteady hands and can relate to hating bookmarks. However, you should be able to search for whatever you want to with the search in the address bar.

A reset does not make tthe iPad "like new."
First, let's ensure that we agree on just what is a Reset...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

Are you sure you don't see them when you swipe to the left?
I actually had only one icon showing on the second page .... and then all of the rest showed up on pages 3, 4, etc.
The Apple Music app is a red box with a white note
Weather app is a blue box with a white cloud and yellow sun

My iPhone 4S is dark, this is the second time. The first time i was able to get it back on by plugging in into my PC. However this time i have had it plugged in for an hour or so and nothing. I have done the Start/sleep buttons

However this time it has been plugged in for an hour or more and nothing. There was still at least 70% charge left on it when it went dead. I have pressed the sleep and start button separately and together. It said that I did not have much space left this morning so I deleted Apps and photos but there was still space. Just two days ago it was losing power even though it still 55% charge left so I plugged it in and it seemed to gain power. Any suggestions on the problem?

Sounds like faulty battery. Make Genius reservation and take to Apple for quick (minutes) free battery diagnostic testing. If you have Warranty or AppleCare the problem will be covered.
