FF will not show pictures in Ebay and Amazon BUT OK in IE8

I have winXP pro on 3 machines all the same problem.
I can have the same window open in both programmes.
IE8 / IE7 shows pictures
FF4 says pictures not available
Problem with Halfords / Ebay / Amazon

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

I have read your post on how your video will not show picture, but the audio will work on your Windows 8.1 computer. Does the video appear and then disappear using media player software? Does this occur when streaming videos on YouTube? Did you perform Windows or HP updates before this issue occured? Does the entire screen go blank, turn a different color or just show blank on the video window you are attempting to view? I would be happy to help you, but first I would encourage you to post your product number for your computer. That message is listed in two scripts on the bank's site. One function that can display the message is named PhotoRotator and the other is named PromoRotator. However, I can't seem to trigger the error myself.
If you have any add-ons that alter the page, such as ad blockers, try creating an exception for these sites and see whether that helps:

Firefox will not enlarge pictures from ebay in small windows.

I cannot view pictures that require a new window..
Ebay and some sites have it set up where pictures are viewed in another window. For some reason my firefox will not do this.

I could neither enlarge images nor open a link in a new [pop-up] window. Both problems solved by disabling FoxyProxy extension.

Icloud stream not showing pictures on Iphone or PC but fine on ipad

Hi,
I have an IPAD2 and have put lots of pictures on it which show as being updated/uploaded and put into my Icloud storage space.
I can view the photos fine on the IPAD.
However, i can't access them on my PC in the Icloud folder. Only about 80 pictures of the 1000 are visible.
I have also just purchased an Iphone 5C. I can only view 5 pictures in the photostream
Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi, Im kinda having the same problem. When I purchase songs they are not showing up in my purchased folder. They are on my phone but not in my purchased folder. Im not sure how to fix it so they show up, but if anyone knows how to fix your problem then maybe it can help with mine. And if anyone kno0ws how to help me with my issue than maybe it can help you. When I plug my iPod touch in now, it doesn't open in iTunes and nothing happens. If I go to My Computer, I can see that it is recognized but it says it is a digital camera and I can't open it with iTunes at all...

Im having the exact same problem! I seriously don't want to reinstall Itunes, It will completly muck up my Library!
Reasons:
1. About a year ago I decided to change my music too have a much 'cleaner' Ipod, some of my old purchased songs that I have removed are still in my Itunes folder, just not in my Library. I have a feeling these will appear back in my library after reinstalling..
2. I know artists who officially release their music for free, therefore its legal for me to download their albums free online. These go into my downloads folder which I then drag into my Itunes Library, I have well over 100s of songs/ albums, and these aren't in my Itunes folders (Atleast to what ive seen) So I doubt these will be moved into my library after reinstalling (And it will be a REAL PAIN moving them ALL back in.)
3. I don't even know for sure if this is even going to work! I may just waste my own time, and like ive said on posts similar to this, I really reckon that Apple needs to fix their side of the problem. Ive seen people sayign they reinstalled, it didnt fix anything, Device is still un-recognized, I went through diagnostics on Itunes, exactly what it comes up with is that it can't recognize my Ipod touch device.
Please help! I have an un-answered thread, none of Apple support helps at all, and I really needed to sync my Ipod for Christmas, that isn't happening now :/
We need Solid answers please. Not these try and risk waisting your whole day and not even get half of your favorite songs back.

Xfinity Toolbar will not show even when enabled and checked?

The Xfinity Toolbar shows as if it should be seen in the "View Toolbars" area, and the space is there, but nothing shows in the space. I can't pinpoint when this started, but in previous versions of Firefox I'm sure I had use of this toolbar.

I just installed Adobe Bridge CC and it will not open? I uninstalled and reinstalled but still will?

I just started using the Adobe CC and downloaded a few of the products, I can get everything except the Adobe Bridge to open and run?

Ok, 6 hours later it's a fix for me!
Not sure if it'll work for you but it was quite simple.
Open Finder > (go) Computer > Macintosh HD (for me) > Users > Click once on the Home icon (main admin) > Get Info >
click on lock and authorise bottom right > click on cog wheel drop down > click on 'Apply to enclosed items' > OK
Close info window and try to open bridge
Did it work??????

The finder will not show files on my hard drive but will show files on my usb drives

when I click on my Main iMac hard drive the window doesn't open but when I click on my one of my USB drives the widow opens and I can see the files.Any thoughts?

Might try this...
Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, test if things work OK in Safe Mode.
Then move these files to the Desktop for now...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.recentitems.plist
Reboot & test.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.

Does the Ipod Classic 120 GB still connect to itunes? Because mine will not show up at all in itunes!

My Ipod classic will not show up in itunes at all but it says its charging and that it is connected to the computer! I have my itunes updated fully and it still does not work! So i am thinking that maybe its not able to connect anymore because of the new usb connecters or the version of itunes! But i dont know so i really hope i can get this resolved!

I would be concerned too if my iPod was not recognized by iTunes. I found a couple of articles that might help with this.
If you don't see your iPod in the My Computer section of Windows, follow the steps in this article:

TS3572 My 4th gen ipod shuffle will not show up in iTunes

My 4th gen ipod shuffle will not show up in iTunes, and is not recognized by my computer. I am using a MacBook Pro purchased six months ago, with all software up to date. I am using the most recent version of iTunes,and the original factory connector. It does charge through the computer, but is not seen by the computer. I have gone through all of the recommened troubleshooting, and have verified that the connectors are plugged in properly.

The cable that I'm using came with my 5th gen nano. The 6th gen Ipod shows that it's connected but the computer doesn't see it, so I don't think that it's the cable.
I did try this before when looking at the troubleshooting guide and nothing happens. It just resets and then the Ipod screen tells me that it's connected to the computer. It still is unseen by Itunes and no where to be found in my computer.
I don't have another computer to plug it into at the moment but I may be able to visit a friend that owns a decent PC in a few days. If that doesn't work out I will be getting a new lap top in a week and I'm hoping that it will work on that, but it won't be a Mac. So, let's say it works when I plug it into one of these computers, should I reset my Ipod from there or is there something else I should do?
