FF6A transaction missing in menu in SAP ECC 6.0 version

Hi,
In SAP ECC 6.0 version, the FF6A transaction has disappeared in the SAP menu, but it works if we execute directly.
Is an error and exists a note to solve it  or is a normal work?.
Thak you,
David.

Hi David,
I just checked menu on one of Customer I have access to, also running version 6.0, and this transaction is included in the SAP menu list.
to be honest, I don't know whether it is the error or not, however I would you suggest to verify, if you can find this transaction by technical name in the full SAP menu. Otherwise, create OSS message for SAP.
Best regards,
Renatas

  • Call Transaction XK02 in SAP ECC 6.0 Version

    Hi All,
I am working with an object which calls a transaction XK02 to modify the name and contact details fields in Version SAP ECC 6.0.
The problem is that, when the transaction is run manually and saved or when an SHDB Recording is created, the data is getting updated.
But when the transaction is called from a program or when the SHDB Recording which is already created is run, the data is not getting updated in Version SAP ECC 6.0.
The data is getting updated properly when it is done in Version SAP 4.6b.
Central Address Management System is used here.
The call transaction statement is running smoothly. The SY-SUBRC is 0 for this.
The thing is, there is a Check Box at the end of the screen called 'Use Central Address Management' when the SHDB is created.
If this is checked, the contact details are stored in ADRC and LFA1 tables and only in LFA1 if not checked.
In the new version SAP ECC 6.0, the data should also get populated in the ADRC table.
There is a slight change in the logic in SAP ECC 6.0 version.
Can anybody please help me in this regard?
    Thanks & Regards,

  • How to add z transaction to area menu fo sap initial screen

    Hi,
we have created 'z transaction'. how to attach it in area menu of sap initial screen.
we need to attach it to logistics>financial accounting> clients.
could you please help me .

    Hi,
There is no need of creating any t-code for a area menu. The area menu name given by is the t-code to acces the area menu.
SO create the area enu with the name which you want to create the t-code.
To create a t-code to a standard area menu just go to se43 and copy the standard area menu to your z area menu (z area menu name should be the t-code you want to create.)
If you know the transaction code of that clients then goto se43 and give that transaction code and then copy to z_transaction code.
If you dont kow the transaction code of that clients then open clients throuch the path logictics->fiancial accounting->clients then look at the status to find the t-code.
    Thanks
    Kiran.

  • Reg: Replacing i-way with PI for SAP ECC 6.0 version

    Hello Experts
currently we are using R/3 4.7 version and middle ware we are using is i-way and we are planning to upgrade to ECC 6.0 and i would like to know how compatible is i-way is with SAP ECC 6.0 and is there any neccessity to replace the same with PI.
and currently we are using RFC as a method of communication between R/3 and i-way and in future i don't want to change the existing coding , is it feasible to use PI via RFC.
As i am ABAPer, i am new to this PI and please let me the know the risks involved and it is viability.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi Gavin,
you should always use the SQL EE for SAP installations (because of additional features that only come with EE).
Concerning SQL 9 or SQL 10, I would definitely go for SQL 10. It has some nice features like Backup Compression, Page/Row Compression and so on. Have a look [here|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60a236a2-8104-2b10-5ebe-8fef61cc82fd]. Just make sure that your installation meets the SR3 requirements.
We already have SQL 10 in production and did not encounter any problems.

  • Set up for Extraction the data from SAP ECC system

    Hi!
I would like to analyze the transaction and master data from SAP ECC system into SAP BI system.
I have created the connection (entry for SAP ECC system) within SAP NetWeaver System.
Unfortunately when I try to load the transaction data for Info source the process does not end successfully.
There are no information within SM58 on source system.
The ST22 does not contain some suitable information.
    Question:
Which settings do I miss and how can solve my problem?
    (user authorization, etc.)
    Thank you very much!
    regards
    Holger

    Hi!
    many thanks for your reply.
    The error I get:
Errors while sending packages from OLTP to BI
    Diagnosis
No IDocs could be sent to BI using RFC.
    System Response
There are IDocs in the source system ALE outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of BI.
    Further analysis:
    Check the TRFC log.
You can access this log using the wizard or the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> In source system".
    Error handling:
If the TRFC is incorrect, check whether the source system is fully connected to BI. In particular, check the authorizations of the background user in the source
Can you please help me to identify the error?
    Thank you!

  • Reg SAP ECC

    Hi friends!!
SAP ECC professional its any functional consultant... like PP,CRM
I dont now about SAP ECC .. its version r some functional consultant

An upgrade to the latest release, SAP ECC(Enterprise central component)6.0, lands you on SAPu2019s new software-delivery roadmap. This is the u201Cgo-tou201D release for all customers currently on SAP R/3. From now on, all new functional enhancements to ERP through 2010 (when the next major synchronized release for SAP applications will take place) will be made available as optional enhancement packages for SAP ECC 6.0. Since all enhancements will be enterprise SOA-based, you must be on an enterprise SOA-enabled core (SAP ECC 6.0/SAP NetWeaver 7.0) to use them. The upgrade to SAP ECC 6.0 gets you to an enterprise SOA lifestyle; preparation for it is key. It also begins to highlight your needs for enterprise SOA components (for example, portals, middleware or service bus, development tools, and service repositories).
Must you upgrade to SAP ECC 6.0? Eventually, yes, but some customers are taking it in stages. Theyu2019re using SAP ECC 5.0. Some have upgraded to SAP R/3 4.7 as an interim solution:
Upgrading from R/3 4.6 to R/3 4.7 avoids extended maintenance fees for a while. Other reasons to go to R/3 4.7 are the ease of the upgrade (no new technology) and the ability to handle the migration with in-house staff (no new skills but additional time on the maintenance clock needed).
Upgrading to SAP ECC 5.0 instead of SAP ECC 6.0 is more typical. With SAP ECC 5.0, you donu2019t need to update to the Unicode database. If you upgrade to SAP ECC 6.0, you need to address the Unicode database conversion, so you have two upgrades to consider.
The complexity of the decision-making process stems from balancing your appetite for technical evolution and innovation with your ability to justify the migration. The SAP ECC 6.0 migration is the most challenging yet, but any release lower than SAP ECC 6.0 compromises your ability to use the enhancement packages and the full functionality of SAP NetWeaver.
Both R/3 4.7 and SAP ECC 5.0 are Unicode-compatible (but not Unicode-required), so you could upgrade ERP first and later upgrade the database to Unicode. But SAP skipped SAP ECC 5.0 for some industry solutions, so SAP ECC 6.0 became the de facto standard.
    Thanks

  • Is SAP ECC 6.0 supports full object oriented features?

in SAP R3 4.7 version we can do OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING but not PURELY.That we can't declare all variables inside a class like as java.Is it possible to do it in SAP ECC 6.0 versions.

Not sure what you mean when you are referring to "as in java".  You can declare your class attributes inside the class, in any version of NetWeaver where OO is support, 4.6c and higher.  You use the "attributes" tab in SE24 to declare your global variables, you can of course declare local ones inside your methods as well.
